With stuff like this happening you gotta wonder if it will continue on in later series. I understand the first set is a hot item and all but damn. seeing that is making me wonder if I should just preorder mjf I say go for it too. The figures may most likely still be under the same SKU and if there's an increase of stock on brickseek, it could be nothing on hand or more series 1 figures. Save yourself the trouble.

These are starting to hit. A second WalMart in my immediate area obviously got the shipper but packed the shelf and overstock. Probably get a second set of Wave 1.

I’m like over Brickseek & specifically hunting for these figures....multiple times they have popped up on brickseek at different Walmart’s in my area, I go to those Walmart’s, bother an employee, they scan it, say they have them & to check back the next day, 2 hours later brickseek shows up out of stock...I go the next day & nothing. I like hunting, but this last year has just been a huge waste of time...ringside is the way to go

I went to Walmart again and I see two guys already in the AEW section looking for the figures, one guy bought a ring and the other was on the phone. Apparently the SKU isn't working when I asked them to check only the barcode shows up. I'm going to have to check every night for these figures -.-

Found a shipper later in the day. Weird enough it wasn’t showing up in brickseek. Worked out though because they hasn’t sold any of them yet so I had first dibs

So since I’m out of town and figures popped up near my mom’s house, my stepdad looked for me. The store by their house has shown in stock since Sunday, but every time he went there was nothing there. Today he went to a store near their church and he managed to get Cody, Jericho, Omega, and the Bucks! Can’t wait to get back in town and check them out!

My Walmarts now show OOS even though me and my friend went yesterday and the manager said they didn't have them and won't arrive until the 21st. Not sure how accurate brickseek is but going to check Thursday night and see. If I don't find them then I give up with AEW lol

Don't worry about it. From what I can gather, that shipper doesn't have Brandi or chase figures in it.

Does anyone else whose areas started getting them in feel like their region has suddenly slowed down on these things? Even after I found the first ones I got, I kept Brickseek open on the reg, and it seems like after the first seven or so stores I saw go green (out of 15 or so stores across two zips I regularly check), it's just slowed to a crawl. There are a couple of pretty significant stores here in terms of volume, size, and population that haven't spiked at all, which is pretty curious to me, especially given how out of the way the first store I saw jump is in terms of anything around here.

Last night, my Brickseek updated and most of my area Walmarts said "6+ in stock" around 8 PM. I ran to the closest one.
There were a few Mattel basics hanging on the AEW peg and one of the employees promised me that the AJ Styles and Finn Balor were both apart of the figures that I was looking for, just not the correct character that they show on the website.
One of the people that helped me was a manager, who said that the figures had six different locations around the store and that maybe I could look around and find them. He gave me no information on where the locations were and said they could be anywhere in the entire Walmart.
On the very top of the overhead shelf, there was a box of Mattel figures that the employee said they'd open and check. I told them I know for a fact that those are not them because these would be in a Jazwares box. They ignored me and pulled it down so I just walked away. The employee walked up later and said, "nope, those weren't it."
I had three employees tell me that it was a system error and guarantee that the figures were not in the store.
Eventually I just happened to find the right pallet and the figures were packed up on the very top. I pulled them down and took the Young Bucks home. The employees that once tried to help me just saw what happened and ignored the fact that they were totally clueless and uninterested in hearing what I knew about the situation.
Good luck, you guys. Lord help us all.

Wal-Mart has a one-size-fits-all approach to outside hires. Once someone gets in the door, they're put wherever an opening exists that can accommodate their availability and the store's needs. Expecting product specialists in any grab and go department inside a Wal-Mart store in 2020 is the fault of nobody but the person who tricked themselves into thinking such a thing would exist.
