AEW Launch Day Thread (most likely coming 8/6)

They will be out this week I’m sure. The only issue I have is that unless you are 100% you can meet a definitive date you should never give a concrete date when something is available. August 2020 would have been sufficient enough.

I just wonder if my store will get them. They are in the middle of the store remodel. The Toy section is hideous. The WWE section is on a shelf, and it was only two battle packs.

And they are probably prioritizing it as to which shipping company you selected and whichever one has the earliest pickup time. The carrier with the earliest pickup time today is one they want done first to make sure all the orders using that carrier makes that pickup time. And so on with the other two shipping carriers today.

They already said the shipment came in late Friday which means they had already missed most of the carriers Friday pickup times. And I don’t think UPS, USPS or FedEx do bulk pickups (trailer service) on Saturday or Sunday.

Still haven't gotten tracking,which started going out Thursday night.

Bty work in wearhosue for the most of my life and understand how things are pulled and shipped.Work for big companies like Target,Best Buy,Sears and now a commercial electronics company.

The method on pulling orders are the time and date received and then shipping method.So yes Express,Next Day...ect get pulled and shipped before ground which is total fine and the right thing to do.My issue is obviously not shipping based on date which makes zero sense.

Only time something like that makes sense is if one customer or a few have giant orders that will clear out your stock over dozen or more orders.

Let's say they have 100 Cody action figures and they only received in 100 and you have one customer who placed and order of 100 and then 100 customers that placed abd order of q each.In a case like that you do the 100 orders over the 1.

The closest WalMart to me and the one that’s on the way to work for me had rings and belts and the aisle had been reset. They had three pegs for AEW figures. I’ll keep checking them every morning around 7.

I also agree with the other post that said unless you can meet a specific street date that you advertised, then don’t do it. I don’t have a problem with August 2020, means I have to do my part and follow. But if you say August 3rd @ WalMart, then I expect to find them at all 3 of my WalMarts. Video games and movies do it.

And you probably won’t get a tracking number until later today or tonight. Hell most times with my RSC orders I don’t get an actual email about my orders tracking number until after my order arrives. Which is usually the day after it ships.

RSC already stated the preorder one shipment didn’t arrive until late Friday. And they are going to fill all preorder ones out of this shipment. So maybe those who got tracking on Thursday were orders that they knew they could fill and ship Friday after the shipment came in because the customers had selected the last carrier of the day. And as you know working in a warehouse if the company wants to get product out Friday they aren’t going to focus on the orders that can actually ship still the night the product came in.

You’re going to fill the orders that use the carrier hasn’t picked up yet. Now I selected USPS Priority as my carrier. But I know by the time they got their shipment my order missed that window to ship an won’t ship until today.

And yes I also worked in a warehouse for a while out of high school as well as I was a driver for UPS for 10 years.

Checked my local Walmart over the weekend since I haven’t been in there in about 2 months. They didn’t have any rings or belts, and no spot even made for them. So I doubt I see these in my town for a while unless they get everything all at once. I’ve preordered a case already but still wouldn’t mind finding the chase figures in stores
