Chase question... The 1/500 Cody- Does that mean there are only 500 or does it mean for every 500 Cody figs 1 of them will be a variant? If it’s the latter than how many would you guess there are? 500 were made. Will they be individually numbered? ie. 323/500. I wonder if RSC pulled these from their cases for individual sale. |

Just came home from Walmart same lady from Monday who said try 5/6 now saying won’t get them till Friday .This rate I dunno weather to believe she’s full of it or it’s delayed

Just talked to a Walmart that has them in stock but says they’re “somewhere in the back” and that they might have them on the floor by the weekend.
I wanna know why these are only cases of 6? Especially if they’re going to be short shipped it seems pointless to even bother with carrying them if you won’t even have enough to fill the pegs.

If the stores order too much then they’re flooded, future waves won’t be picked up or have a chance. If they have less supply towards the beginning they can set a baseline for sales data and go from there. It’s kinda what happened to Toys R Us. They’d order cases of stuff say TMNT figures. Then the random villain or figure would sit on the pegs leading to less orders eventually. It’ll be rough for the first few waves but we have RSC to order from thankfully. |

I’m just going to go through RSC for the base sets going forward and try Walmart for the chase and rare. I’m curious to see how much scalpers will be flipping them for. I wanted to be a completist with this line but I don’t think it’ll be doable.
Btw I hit up two Walmart’s this morning. Both reported the ring and one had it stocked so I finally got my action ring for my figures

I get a store being hesitant about a new product from a new company....but ONE case of only 6 figures? Walmart had such little confidence in the product to not order more than ONE case per store? I'm not saying order 20 cases and you get stuck with them if the product is a bust....but damn, ONE CASE? Why not two or three to start? Even if you order 3 cases, that's only 18 figures....I can walk into any Walmart and probably find at least 18 AJ Styles figures. It just looks real bad to hype this "big launch", have it essentially be a Walmart EXCLUSIVE unless you order from RSC....and then it's 6 figures per store and that's it. I'm not blaming AEW, I'm blaming Walmart for not having more confidence in their own exclusive, and Jazzwares for not ensuring that this launch was on a grander scale. Again....6 figures per store. That's lame. |

I learned a big lesson today...go with RSC. I'm glad I pre-ordered, as this is not worth all the hassle.
I was in-line, and a younger adult beat me to them, somehow; he either worked there (shifts end at 7, when they open), or went in the exit while employees were for their shift. He bought 5 (I got the lone Omega), literally grabbed them off the shelving three feet from me. I'm glad he got them, as I have them coming, and just wanted the chase, but these are going to fly off the shelves. During a pandemic, if you can swing it, just stay home.

Is this a thing where Wal-Marts are going to be getting multiple shipments of series 1 or is this it? I know Jeremy talked about gathering sales data, but I wasn’t sure if that meant for more of series 1 or just for series 2?

Finally found the last one I was looking for after 3 Walmarts this morning. I'll be happy to get that extra hour of sleep tomorrow.
I still never saw Brandi at any of the locations I visited.
