WalMart for their part did what they could, they put rings and belts out. Jazzwares just completely undershipped, essentially they made no risk to pack the stores out. Shame too because there was legitimate buzz around these. They underproduced and shipped playing it safe and I think it cost them a whole lot more in terms of perception and long term standing than had they risked it with their product. yep honestly all on Jeremy even though he explained in that tweet why he undershipped it was very stupid of him to do that you know it’s gonna be hot product why undership everybody’s been waiting and it gets the word out about aew also Stupid choices honestly Yeah, Jazzwares had a very rare opportunity in an IP that was known and already popular, all while knowing there was a large demand for these figures in the wrestling community. If this was a new IP, then I can see why they wanted to gauge the market. They could've been raking in the cash, and built an entire new fanbase for their products. Instead, they burned a lot of people. They assumed lack of demand would be their problem, which in turn caused a lack of supply. They gambled and WE lost.

I think it’s an absolute joke on there part and a lot of ppl wanted to blame Walmart in the beginning. Jazware is the joke big time! And then under doing a 1st wave is the dumbest thing WalMart for their part did what they could, they put rings and belts out. Jazzwares just completely undershipped, essentially they made no risk to pack the stores out. Shame too because there was legitimate buzz around these. You actually have to it ship for it to be undershipped. LOL.

This just looks sad. I really expected 8/3 to walk in and see at least three pegs worth of Unrivaled figures. A decent couple of cases with the rings. It’s sad because AEW has been really taking off and I wanted to see them thrive in every aspect. The “launch” of the in store series is just sad.
Anyone else holding out hope that by next week them “end caps” will be out?

I think alot of people are overestimating the appeal of this line. If you look at the ratings for AEW they are competing for viewership with NXT. That is a much smaller audience than main roster WWE. Now factor in what percentage of that AEW fanbase actually collects and buys action figures and that number shrinks even more. The first series may sell really well because it's the first series but outside of hardcore collectors I can't really see a mom picking up the Young Bucks for their kids over an A.J or a Seth.

All hope lost, mission failure, etc.

All they have is 6 figures, a ring and a belt......not really enough product to be worth an endcap that may attract Walmart as a buyer.

It's a "feature set" actually according to what Jeremy tweeted that as opposed to an "end cap" so that's my mistake. Whether it's true or not remains to be seen.

Just looked up on Brickseek and for the first time it's showing in stock for Colorado and Nebraska. 70 miles away is the closest one so I'll probably wait 70 miles? ROAD TRIP!!!!! Not no more! Local Walmart showing in stock 🤙

Still nothing on Brickseek. I find it funny that the central states have goiter them yet both coasts with the ports haven’t seen anything yet. I guess these arrive from China through the port in Texas.

Semi unrelated but do we know anything more about the ring/cody bundle that's an overseas exclusive? I wonder if the skintone will be fixed on it. Would love to get my hands on one

Checked my Wal-Mart today and just belts and the ring with empty pegs so still waiting as most. Fortunately, my Wal-Mart is 3 mins away and I pass by it to go to most places I go to anyway so it’s fairly easy to stop by everyday or every few days.

I'm happy to see that. Getting a new audience is hard nowadays. They still have a lot of work to do with bringing in casuals and getting the younger audience.
