COVID has made street dated releases an impossible mess. I just hope we never see anything as hard to get as last month's NECA Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sets at Walmart and Target. Video Games are still on point. I think the issue is simply the insistence on a street date rather than simply August 2020. I’m here in Central Louisiana and nothing anywhere yet. I preordered Camo Fish and O’Reilly because I know Mattel sucks getting product out and it’s a huge hit or miss. I didn’t preorder AEW because I wanted to see if they could handle it. Starting to believe they aren’t any different. Will Pre-Order going forward. The cost, parts, time and profit margins of producing an action figure compared to a blu-ray disc isn't even comparable. We're talking dollars to cents here. A company can send out a million discs, sell only 200K and still make a very healthy profit. The same can't be said about action figures.

Can you prove these claims? Not saying your wrong just interested in the numbers.

Also, DVDs and video games get sent to WalMart directly through FedEx and UPS. That's why they are there on release date.

Comparing production costs between video games and action figures is kinda weird. Like, yes, on a production line, it probably costs less to mass produce video games than it does mass produce action figures, but the comparisons kinda end there, really. Like...Fallout 4 was released in 2015. Development (which is your early design work, etc.) for that game began in 2009, and that's before they were even able to get their work really going in the engine in 2011.
Imagine waiting six years between concept and final execution for an action figure?

That’s not a clearance label that’s a cvp, customer value price, that either means the packaging is damaged, or missing pieces.
