I'd go with the younger version if you're only getting one.

Why stick to just one? I plan on switching him up from time to time as I move my guys around. Both do look great. Props to Mattel for doing it this way.

Older, so I can reenact his appearance on the show "Donahue" or when he cut a scathing promo on Chris Jericho from his couch in which he said that he would never touch a book that Chris has read.

I thought of that, but he didn’t have the beard just a mustache. That’s one of my fondest memories. When he came back to the wwe as the karate version and tore Backlund’s heavyweight title apart it’s his bare hands as Backlund was crying “why!” In the corner. I can honestly say I never heard my father laughing so hard as Backlund cried. lol

When we were young, my brother and I collected lots of WWE cards. One of our most prized possessions was a holographic Billy Graham card. It was of his 80s look so Im gonna display that one because it's sentimental in that way.

Did he ever wear the bola in the 80s? I wasnt sure if he should have this if I display him with the older head.

My younger head arrived with several noticeable paint smudges and the eyebrows not completely painted, so that decision was made for me.

Yes I posted a pic in another thread with him wearing a black boa in the early 70’s but he was my father’s favorite wrestler and he used to tell me, my cousins and friends all the time about the first time he ever saw him in person. He was walking to the ring very flamboyantly wearing all bright colors with a puffy hat with feathers hanging off it and a boa. He said that he and his friends who went to the event with him started heckling Graham who proceeded to stop and turn towards them raising his hand like he was going to backhand them. Now my father who was a pretty big guy in his own right at 6’2” 260ish told us when Graham stopped and did that he said and all his friends got real quite. He said he never saw a man as physically intimidating as Graham was.

I want to display him with his older head not the younger 70s head. I can't seem to find any videos or pictures from the 1980s wwf with the boa.

I have him displayed with his '70s muttonchops next to Bruno Sammartino. Exactly my plan...if/when I find Superstar

I would have loved to have seen the E34 Hogan chest and some Anvil legs used for the Superstar. At least for the 1980s version.
The parts work better for the 70s imo. More ripped and lean.

I wish I had an extra Sheiky baby in the Cena shorts. I'd put some jeans legs on that torso to use with the older head & tye dye.

For right now, I'm displaying him with the younger 1970s head.
The attire and torso sculpt doesn't really go with the older head.
Unfortunately the sunglasses don't fit very well on either head.

Today I received my Elite Superstar Billy Graham from Ringside On top of being a beautifully done figure, I'm kind of having an identity crisis with it. I'm not sure how I want to display him.... What do you think is the more iconic look for BG? The way he's package? or the Younger head w/boa? (and no, I'm not getting 2 unless I happen to come across him at retail, which is unlikely the way these CE figures have been distributed) For me definitely the way he’s packaged. Personal preference of course but that’s how he appeared in his brief late 80s wwe run.

The attire actually does work with the older Billy Graham, but you are right, the torso/upper body does not.
