AEW was down in the demo by .02 and down from 845k to 773k in overall viewers. The biggest dip was 50+.

Once again, AEW won the week against its evil competition. S*ck it, Guy's Grocery Games!

Seriously though, I'm honestly shocked AEW beat the baseball game on ESPN. I wonder now how bad ratings will drop off next week when the NBA returns. I thought baseball would take a chunk, but AEW barely fell.

Fun note, AEW & NXT combined beat the 3rd hour of Raw.

I have an unbiased and factual post tomorrow in the WWE thread that I think is interesting, but I know people will misunderstand it and defend WWE's business practices. The numbers are really bad and the Covid-cuts are even more indefensible.

I'm really glad people don't get upset about the numbers posting here.

I honestly though AEW would drop out of the top 5 (they did) and that NXT would drop out of the top 50 (they didn't). Both should be very happy this week. Like I said, next week is a big test.

I think this is a big reason they have been really pushing the title matches frequently etc. Not so much trying to hot shot to beat NXT, but rather just trying to keep the focus up while sports are resuming

NXT blew through ALL of their top matches to try and beat Dynamite in the demo (didn't happen). I'd really love it if they both just focused on themselves and tried to book the best shows possible.

I've kind of started to give up being respectful to that sort of thing. Nothing ever gets done about it so why am I sitting here trying to be polite and even try and find some actual discussion when they are just trying to get everybody riled up for, well, I literally have no idea how it can be fulfilling to waste their time trying to do that but who knows. I did have fun with the letters Snowjorden and I wrote though. I couldn't go on with the gag though, he absolutely obliterated me in quality with his response lol. There was no living up to his.

AEW Related: MJF also has a new shirt up, it's awesome. I know guys put new shirts on that site all the time since its all print on demand so there's really no limit to how much they can do, but this one gave me a good chuckle given his website. I love his Cody endorsement on the site.

That was a great episode. I especially loved that MJF promo and the main event. They've got me really excited for what's to come, although I hope they can keep Brian Cage feeling legit moving forward. Still mostly great stuff.
