I highly doubt prices will stay as high as they are now. The secondary market in most collectables now are going insane.. and to think it wont slow down is just foolish. everything cools down, you'd just need to wait it out. there will always be a deal to be found, ive found that out 1st hand many times within the last few yrs.

Been waiting on the costs of the Von Erichs, Texas Tornado and Harley to go down forever. Once they get semi reasonable I’m gonna grab them. The last four on my checklist of previously released figures, but I’m not holding my breath.

Is there any reason why WWE figures have been much more elusive / harder to get after that initial wave hits lately ? It seems like since series 69 after that initial RSC/Retail wave hits , some of the figures become impossible to get for a decent price on the secondary market.

There’s no telling right now. Prices are through the roof on everything though. Something as ridiculous as GameCube games right now are selling for big money. It’s everything This is what I'm finding. It's not just wrestling figures but rather anything (or anything I'd call fun). Like how you can't find a Nintendo Switch console or a PS4 controller.

Old video games, unless it was in the package and the exception of a few rare games, you could always get video games for bargain prices online. Right now, the prices start at over a hundred bucks

I don't think so. There's a thing going on with eBay where people will drive up auctions and not pay for it so it artificially inflates the market. There's a number of other factors too, but I think that's a really big piece of it.

That was just for me, though. Now they're going for a small fortune. If only I didn't throw them out to conserve space when we moved... Anyway, I think prices might come down some for wrestling figures, but it will take new or better figures for guys like Murphy or Drew Mac. For others like Kane or Austin, it's probably for good unless another company remakes them better, which will be a challenge and potentially years down the line.

Haha, unfortunately we all have a story about something we threw away or gave away and now we’re like, ugh what an idiot. You’d think after generation after generation of parents telling their kids, “I threw away my comics, they’d be worth a fortune now”...you’d think we’d learn haha. Fortunately I have A LOT of my old figs but many broke and the ones I have aren’t in the best shape. Wrestling figures do have petty good value even after they become old. If you look at Jakks Classic Superstars, granted they were worth a lot more while they were on shelves, but they still retain pretty good value! And older figures like the Hasbro’s have gotten more expensive in recent years. I say this a lot on here but I collect a lot of different things and wrestling figures by far have the best value. They have great short term value and long term they tend to have even better value I’ll never sell mine but it’s still cool to know haha

It makes it easier to keep buying. haha

Eventually when Mattel no longer has the license. I remember Jakks figures were valuable and now that those are outdated those are dirt cheap.

Trying to fill in holes in my flashback and legends collection is extremely expensive right now. Is there any hope for prices to stabilize? Nope
