Trying to fill in holes in my flashback and legends collection is extremely expensive right now. Is there any hope for prices to stabilize?

I’d say no in the ones that have always been high (older RSC exclusives, original legends series, matty collectors, older flashbacks not under legends deals etc.) I stopped waiting around and just bit the bullet on a lot of them. And for instance with Harley, I’ve got a bad feeling he may no longer be under a legends contract anymore. Personally speaking, I’ve been buying back the older, more expensive ones recently because the price more than likely isn’t going to drop if much at all. Even if there are re-releases Of some of them, the price will still be pretty high. The unmasked Kane comes to mind. Price has slightly decreased, but it isn’t dropping a whole lot.

If Harley is still under contract, it really doesn’t make any sense why he wouldn’t have been in one of the first series of the Legends reboot. Especially because Steve has said repeatedly that they understand the demand for him and want to release a repaint or something very simular.

I doubt it and a lot of people have held onto these figures for up to a decade and shoudl see a decent return on their investment for keeping it so long lol

There’s no telling right now. Prices are through the roof on everything though. Something as ridiculous as GameCube games right now are selling for big money. It’s everything

Wrestling figs are easily the most expensive figures I own on the secondary market. I wouldn’t feel that bad haha They have the highest resale prices in the shortest amount of time easily

Scalpers have been multiplying. I'm fine with older stuff being pricier, as it's natural for any collectible to have its own established economy based on rarity and supply vs demand.
Lately it's been extended to the current merch. People even in my area (east coast Canada) are buying up entire cases at the Walmart's to throw them on Facebook for 3x the price or in raffles. Very frustrating. I'm not saying I've never bought a figure or two for trade bait, but I've never cleaned out entire shelves with the purpose to make a profit.
I picture they're the same parasites who tried to hoard toilet paper and sanitizer at the height of COVID.

I mean, figures that were in stock on Ringside a year ago are now big money. All you gotta do is wait for it to sell out and it’s turning into huge money on the secondary market. Wrestling figures have always retained pretty good value honestly, but Mattel is another level. Unfortunately I’ll never sell mine because I love my wrestling figs but I do get a kick out of some of the values haha. It makes me appreciate them a bunch that’s for sure

Unfortunately I missed out on Strong, Murphy, Black. It's unreal what people are charging. If or when I have extra cash, I'll probably pull the trigger on Strong since he goes with the new Undisputed elites

It might drop down a bit now that some of that government covid money is stopping like the $600/week emergency unemployment that just ended.
