the Legends Chase figures im mostly ok with not getting both of.


with DiBiase his black suit is much better and the other one matches that elite virgil exactly so i dont think id want it on my shelf, i know its from when they were with Andre, so its accurate but i wish they had done the chase in green, even though im sure they didnt because of cost

Beefcake is what it is, i like them both but whichever one i find is the one ill get. i'd probably prefer the yellow because it reminds me of the Jakks CSDA figure which i ing LOVE

Can we talk about the hair on that Hollywood Hogan figure? The dude has a sweep of hair on the top of his head like he's a hipster with a receding hairline. It's absolutely ridiculous. I didn't notice it in the first photos, but it stuck out like a sore thumb this time. I know Hogan is fragile in that way, but that is just patently absurd. He never had anything close to that much hair in 1997. I am always for removable headwear on Hogan figures, but if you're going to be that ridiculous about it, just sculpt him with a bandana.


That aside, aren't all that many things here I want, but I've admittedly gotten pretty picky with figures post-Retros and only buy really good versions of Legends I really like. I do really like the Ultimates line and think some of the scans are amazing. As someone who's always been into figures with very comprehensive accessories, I also really like the effort they're putting in to covering every possible loose end for every figure they make. I'd really like to see a late 80's Hogan in this style because they'd probably give you all the variables (bandana/headband/different shirts) as accessories rather than forcing one of them on you, like the Storm figure's sculpted headband. So far I think I'm definitely in for the Savage Ultimate and probably the Beefcake Legend.

Wow. That really is bad. Not accurate. How does a wisp of hair somehow convince the guy that he's not old/balding? Such a weird issue considering the skullet is his trademark.

That said, the fig looks good. And some of these scans (esp Savage and M$M) are insanely good.
