Belt plates aren't made from aluminum. They're made of brass or zinc and require a serious heavy duty CNC machine. Right. So maybe that machine costs a thousand or two thousand bucks. Still not super expensive. Maybe he doesn’t show his shop because it’s in Pakistan and he’s never really been there. Doesn’t mean it isn’t his. I don’t know and am not defending the guy. Just throwing out a possible scenario. Not even saying it’s probable. Who really knows. The same people who designed the chela toys retros just showed a Switchblade render but it doesn’t seem as though it’ll be being released in association with chella. Who are the designers? They have social accounts?

That I didn't see, but I saw concept art for the next Chella figure: "All Ego" Ethan Page! I was able to find All Ego Ethan Page, but couldn’t find anything on Switchblade. Any chance you could share a pic or link?

Thanks, guster. I appreciate you. Oh my, “officially licensed” for NJPW does make the mind reel at the possibility of more NJPW retro figures.

Granted -- we don't know how many are being bought, but look at all the companies trying to make Retros. Action Figure Attack I know you have been pushing for these -- hope this helps you convince the powers that be. All of these rip-offs don't even come close to the Mattel Retros, and Mattel is leaving money on the table...

My wife was contacted by Chella to discuss making "Mattel/AEW" style figures for them but the price wasn't right. So Chella does want to do other stuff it seems.

Just gave in and ordered 2 X Mind of the Meanie sets. I will most likely switch out the head of the announcer as I don’t know him and don’t need a figure of him. However an announcer is welcomed.

My Aldis should be here tomorrow or Friday, does anyone know if he fits into a Retro protector from RSC? He seems to be up really high on the card.

Got my Aldis today and he's too high on the card and the card itself is too big for a RSC protector. Anyone know what protector will work for this?

Ordered the Blue Meanie 2 pack, I actually think they look really good and like how they will be coiung out in series on cards so its easy to keep track of unlike the Millions and Millions of figures released since the end of Hasbro.

Chella Toys website, Chella's twitter account or Google "Mind of the Meanie".

For anyone interested, we do quite a bit of collaboration & promotional work with Chella, and together we’re giving away both Moc & loose Aldis figures via Twitter. Just thought I’d post this given the subject matter. Hope it’s ok to mention this mods, feel free to delete if it’s not.

Saw the Ethan Page prototype on Instagram. It looks good but I'm not a fan of him at all. That's definitely one people could use for custom fodder.

It is pretty basic but good for what it is, Hopefully they will get some more intricate ones to do in future, I will however still be getting this one as i am actually impressed with what they have done considering.
give it a 6.5 out of 10, I do not know the licensing etc of who they can and cant use does anyone know, could they do a retired WWF star or someone like CM Punk.
