I'm sure it will make sense. Just saying, I'm one that really doesn't like much of it, makes figures look like dolls instead of action figures. I'd much prefer things molded, think it looks way cooler. And Hasbro didn't use soft goods until the later years when it was pretty much just a cost saving measure so they wouldn't need to make new molds. Ex., I think Berzerker would have looked better with his tunic molded on. And I didn't care for Taker's coat, idealy he should have been a new mold, not necessarily with a cloak, but if they changed the mold/action they wouldn't have needed the coat to justify it as a "new release". Yeah i get that, it is like the Dr Death robe would look horrible molded on rather than being soft goods Yeah, I get it with a robe maybe. I mean I wouldn't mind seeing it tried though. Guess Hasbro never did a proper robe, though they made guys that used them like Flair and Greg Valentine, they just went strictly ring gear in those cases. Guess my hope is if it's guys with full on robes, that hopefully the figures look good enough underneath that they would still display nice if someone wanted to just tote the soft goods in certain cases.

That is certainly the plan for them, Galoobs did mold on the robs so could be a possibility for the Loobs line

I don't mind soft goods, though they should be rare. Some things wouldn't look right molded, long robes or jackets. Short jackets (like Macho's or Bret's) and vests (like Razor's and GG's British Bulldog) look good though. If they had to choose between a molded long robe/jacket or their wrestling attire, I'd prefer the wrestling attire.

That may be the worst figure of all time.

That would be great if they could sign Owen. I do not know why they would want to waste that signing on the Blue Blazer. I cannot imagine that Martha Hart would let them make a Blue Blazer figure for obvious reasons. Owen is a dream but not possible sadly With Jazzinc finally doing figures he might be off the table for the foreseeable future, but at lest Martha seems to have changed her opinion and is now willing to accept licensed figures to a certain degree. Who knows what the future will bring…

Who knows what the future will bring… I feel a little uneasy that a company that Owen had nothing to do with is the one in charge of honouring him. I was hoping with the changes at WWE that the door may eventually open again. However, having seen that AEW have now looked to trademark ‘king of harts’ (again weird as it was from him winning KOTR) if that’s the only way we get a proper Owen in the attire we all want in figure form then so be it.

Epic is doing a Q&A right now.
-There will be some sort of live Series 4 reveal special with 3POA next month
-Belts have been discussed but they don’t have anything close to coming out (they didn’t say no!)
-Two tag team sets are supposed to begin production before Christmas.
-Possible Nasty Boys tease?
-Big Daddy and Haystacks will not be reproduced.

Ooh, I'd love a WCW Nasty Boys. They could do a couple different shirt variants like OSFTM did too.

This is the teaser they shared. It may mean nothing. I’m excited to see what they can do but it’s a massive challenge considering the Hasbros were nearly perfect.

Agree Nasty Boys hasbros were such incredible figures it will be hard to top, but I am sure they will put a good spin on them. Would really love to seem them get their hands on the Beverley Brothers as they would crush the soft goods capes

Totally agree with you. The woman has every right to be bitter. But AEW does not really feel to be the right place either. BTW just imagine Shane McMahon joining AEW amd participating in the Owen tournament… the PWT Brwaler Buddie felt appropriate aswell as the PWT store. Unfortunately the designs are medicore at best.

I believe they also mentioned that they would like to do Nasty Boys in their entrance jackets - so maybe that’s the way to distinguish their figures from the already excellent hasbros, just like they did with Demolition.

cheville2001 I vaguely recalled that too but for the life of me could not find any examples when searching yesterday. Even so, the best they could do is Marty and Leif.

although, and this is just chucking crap against the wall hoping it sticks, but there's an NWA Worldwide match out there with the Midnight Express where Bobby's wearing those same colours....

Sadly though none of these companies will ever have Shawn. What I say they should do is make Marty and Shawn like bodies/gear and put someone else's head on the Shawn. Hell just make the new Rockers but use Rockers gear, make sure the bodys would match up with the Rockers Hasbro heads and the skin tone is a match. Hasbro Rockers are very cheap loose, so it would be easy to do a head swap.
