So I was just doing my daily eBay (Bay) searches and stumbled upon some custom elite figures. There's a specific 2020 custom Edge elite that's currently on there right now going for almost $7000 with still 5 days left of bidding. I certainly wouldn't never in my lifetime, pay over $100 on any wrestling figures past or present. It's crazy enough to think how much someone would pay for a such a small little plastic that retails for $20. I know there's a lot more figures out that goes for even more, but what would be the maximum amount that you guys and gal would ever spend of an action figure?

Though his customs do often run into the $100+ range, most of those top bidders have zero feedback. I dont expect this to sell that high. I personally cap myself at 80$. I have a 1 year old, a wife, a mortgage, etc. So with my income and my expendiatures, 80$ is a good "fun money" range for me. And I stick to it. I love collecting figures, but I for sure have bigger priorities in life than that.
This unfortunately means I will most likely never own an Akeem, Bundy, Rick Martel, or Koloff to complete my legends. But I do own 70+ great customs from some great artists that i'm quite fond of.

My most expensive to date has been 60 something including shipping for Demolition Crush. Before that it was 50 for Ember Moon. These are also Canadian prices so 60 would be 45 in U.S currency. That would probably be my max.

When it comes to wwe figures I pick up most of them at retail, if it’s something I’m really looking forward to though like the first demon Balor or the fiend I’ll preorder it from ringside for about $35, the price that some people are willing to pay though is ridiculous and part of the reason why your seeing more and more people scalping these now.

Most I paid is maybe ~$150 for E1 Hardy. If an opportunity to get one MOC arises, maybe that will be the most I'll ever spend whenever I can actually afford one lol. Unless its a prototype or something extremely limited, I wouldn't pay more than $60 for a single Elite.

Most I’ve spent on a figure was the recent Liger figure form Storm, and even that was on sale for 10 dollars off, so it was like 60 shipped total. That’s pushing it for me.

I've talked about the figure before but I don't believe I've ever shown pictures This is the pride of my collection, a custom WM14 DX Shawn Michaels. AKA one of only three pre-made custom figures I ever purchased. I only paid about 70 bucks for him (US) and frankly that's a steal IMHO. It's also the most I've ever paid for a figure and I doubt I will ever go above this. Overall, though I shudder when I have to pay above retail. It's why preorders bug me so much. But my resolve has been weakening and these days it's nothing for me to put out 40 bucks on a figure.

I’m not sure what my max would be. I think the most I’ve spent on one figure was $69 for the RSC ECW CM Punk off of Mercari.

Is there was a rare figure I wanted I'd spend about £400 but I just collect KO, Finn and Drew so I don't need to spend that much

Probably around 40 to 45 max and I would have to want that figure pretty badly as well.

Most I've paid for a wrestling figure is $80 for the Defining Moments Ultimate Warrior. That amount seems to be my threshold on spending for figures around that scale in general..I've paid around that amount for Storm Co. Sagat and Zangief as well as some Mafex figures.

I think I paid about $75 US (I’m in Australia) for E12 Kane, DM Bret and a custom Owen.
That said I regularly pay double or triple retail for figures as I can’t get them exclusives here.

Depends on what it is and how badly I want it. I didn’t think twice about paying $125 for the Rock n Wrestling Hogan. If I was still collecting Marvel then I would not hesitate to pay $350 for that Sentinel.
