LOL @ everyone on the WFT board being all "Great! Now that The Fiend figure is out, Bray is back to his old gimmick! Typical Mattel!"

Missed the pre show and the tables match but besides that I genuinely enjoyed the eye for an eye match the most. Maybe partly ironically, it was unintentionally funny, and I didn't expect them to take it so seriously but there was some good action in amongst it all. Seth throwing up, the ridiculous "attempts" at gauging an eye and the trash talking was all hilarious.
Rest of the show was incredibly bland I felt though and the swamp fight was a big miss for me unfortunately.

Um, yeah, what channel is AEW on again? That PPV just might make me watch the Jericho Crap Show again. I can buy the boneyard match because it was two guys actually fighting. I accepted the FunHouse match because it was different. But the swamp crap? When Braun took out himself, yeah, it was dumb.

Well... I thought everyone brought it. Each match had fun action regardless of the outcome. Two people here ruined the thread. I’m reminded why I usually don’t thread head. The Swamp Fight was okay. I liked it better than the Cena match but not as much as the Graveyard. I’ve never been a huge fan of cinematic matches to begin with. Drew vs Dolph was fun. So was Rey vs Seth, except for the stipulation. Women matches were good, but I didn’t like the finish to Sasha/Asuka. I love New Day but gotta love Nakamura & Cesaro as champs. Owens vs Murphy was really good. Think I got it all. Who ruined it? Been reading the thread and i didn't see anything bad. I'm not going to name names, but I had to delete a few things. One was one of the worst distasteful comparisons I've ever heard in 30+ years of watching wrestling.

Sasha VS Asuka was an excellent match that definitely lived up to the hype and then some! Some really great spots, exciting action, and masterful storytelling. The spot right at the beginning with counter after counter leading to a very quick early Bank Statement was fantastic, and Joe's frantic commentary really enhanced the moment. Sasha taking on a knee injury and forcing herself to keep fighting because of how badly she needed to win the match added a lot of depth to it. And then the ending was just genius! Obviously we all know it's not an official title change, and I can't wait to see this be a turning point in Bayley and Sasha's friendship imploding, given that Bayley cheated Sasha out of a genuine victory.
And then the online exclusive post-match video of Sasha and Bayley running away from an interview before anything could be said about it was hilarious!
Definitely a MOTY contender.

Owens and Murphy was a good match The SmackDown Tag Team Title Tables Match great match glad that The New Day aren't champions anymore, they don't need the titles. The SmackDown Women's Championship was an okay match but Bayley being champion is ing boring at this point. Eye for an Eye match was good and physical but the ending was crapty, this is what you come up with for both Mysterio and Rollins. The Raw Women's Championship match was a good match, both Asuka and Banks work well with each other but the "last minute" finish was ing lame. The WWE Championship match was good glad Drew retain the title. The Wyatt Swamp Fight was the craps. They filmed this "match" 6 to 7 hours just to give us like 20 to 30 minute segment. The Boneyard Match and whatever the the Money in the Bank Ladder matches were this year was better then this crap fest. Final verdict: not a good ppv. I enjoyed Impact Wrestling Slamiversary better

People are going to compare 2020 WWE to Vince Russo's crap and 2000's WCW. It's not unfair. Most of the matches were really good, but the garbage finishes and the terrible "storytelling" ruined what could have been a legit show of the year.

honestly i am really enjoying the "cinematic" fight/match stuff. its just something DIFFERENT. regardless of what it actually is, its just giving us something else besides 15 finisher kick outs, a bunch of punches and bad commentary. so i appreciate what they are doing with these things no matter what they are i was mostly entertained by that, thought it dragged a little bit and would have liked maybe a bit more "action"...but it definitely fit the storyline, and actually left you with a cliffhanger which was nice Are you sure you like wrestling? You might be better off watching action movies instead.

Yeah marino, are you sure you even like wrestling? You don’t constantly complain about everything, so I’m not sure you’re really a fan of this genre of entertainment.

Oddly enough the Swamp Fight was the only thing I didn’t like on the show (well the whole Eye for an Eye stipulation was uncomfortable but the match was good and Joe having a blast on commentary was entertaining)

I'm glad I'm not the only one here that actually liked that finish. I'll spot that maybe putting the two goofy finishes right after each other in the card might not have been the best move, but I thought this ending was really good. I'm usually not a fan of screwy endings in title matches, but this one made so much sense and heel Bayley is freaking hilarious.

Sasha sold it really well. It was my match of the night before the Bayley finish. It took it from 4 stars to like 3 for me. It's a bummer they couldn't have a legit match and not do that silliness. They could have had an undeniable MOTY contender.

I'm usually not a fan of screwy endings in title matches, but this one made so much sense and heel Bayley is freaking hilarious. Exactly, I'm glad I'm not the only either, as it seems the vast majority - both on here and on social media - seemed to hate it. For me it achieves so much going forward: - Gives fans a reason to tune into RAW to find out what happens next - Adds fuel to the fire between Bayley and Sasha, given that Bayley screwed Sasha out of a legitimate title change with that finish, and I'm sure this will be a major point to start the feud - Furthers the idea of Bayley and Sasha being obnoxious heels that will do anything to cheat their way to a victory (just like Sasha's hero Eddie) - Protects both Sasha and Asuka - Removes the idea that Sasha will only be going after the SmackDown Women's Championship, in her inevitable feud with Bayley, as a consolation prize for not winning the RAW Women's title That's the way I see it anyway. I don't understand why so many hated it. But that's okay, nothing wrong with others having a different opinion. I just know that I loved it, and it was a twist that I didn't see coming.

WWE took a cool concept with the cinematic matches and ran it into the ground because they suck at doing them and has had to do one every damn month. If you liked the swamp fight, then cool, but that stuff was utter garbage. Same with the stipulation of Rey/Rollins. They had a solid match but then I remembered the stip and was like well this is going to end dumb, and guess what? It did. I want to like WWE but stuff like this just pushes me away so bad
