Why is it that as soon as someone criticizes anything to do with AEW, it's because you're either "drinking the kool-aid", or it becomes "hating on anything not WWE"?
Buddy sent me a pic of this Cody with the I Like Turtles kid, and I can't un-see it.
Besides the porcine skin and dark eyes, I think Cody & Kenny's heads look a tad small.
I like the Jericho's figures. Impressed they got the tattoos.
I like that their ab crunch seam is a lil more blended into the mold.
IMO these look okay. But considering Jeremy is involved, I wasn't jumping on anything till we have concrete proof of how they were going to turn out.
I'll wait till people get them before I decide to cherry pick a few or not.

I feel like it's lighting maybe, but I hope that's not the finished article. As people have said the ones that we got shown look amazing and they're the ones that need to come out.

Sorry if this has been answered previously, but is the belt that comes with the chase Jericho the same as the one that comes with the "Bubbly" version? Thanks!

People complaining about skin tone being too realistic bc they're used to their figures arms shoulders and necks all being different colors from each other. Wild. How dare they add shading and actual eye coloring instead of a blob of mixed white paint that dribbles out of the eyelids.

So, Kenny’s getting a running change for his highlights, does that mean that those of us who pre ordered are gonna end up with jet black haired Kenny’s? That’s super disappointing if so. Already had that happen with Fiend and now Kenny possibly too?

Not as good as the protos... But for a first attempt, they're okay. The faces need work, Jericho & Brandi are the only two that came out good. The torsos look odd. Not the articulation, but the shape and colour of them. Maybe it's just the lighting.
Regardless, i'll probably get 2 Jericho's & 2 Bubbly Jericho's. 1 to open, and 1 MOC. After that, i'm out until they get a Brodie Lee.

A learning curve of a first wave Jericho came out excellent will eventually get him. Omega if he had the lighter hair would have been perfect. Brandi and Cody look decent. The Young Bucks are ok, never cared for them at all.

With Omega needing a second round update on his hair color, I wonder if the RSC exclusive w/ the ring will come with highlights or will be just like the Unrivaled release.

I personally don’t think the AEW tones were bad, but rather overly saturated by the camera flash and lighting. But other than the paint flesh on the singet torso‘s and Neville’s thighs on Mattel’s I don’t think theirs are bad either. Sure some are off like Roman being to dark and Muraco being to light, but the figures that don’t have painted flesh tones are fine.

If you want a better idea of how they might look, ignore the bad lighting protos, and his new "good lighting" protos and then go look at his pics of Bubbly Jericho. That will give you regular lighting as he simply snapped it with his phone.

I’m interested to have the AEW line in hand so I can see the tones and plastic quality before making a snap judgement, because the new photos seem far better than what ringside posted. I’m just excited to have the chance at so many high quality figures after Jakks botched the TNA line with the constant re-releases and absolutely zero scale/accessories.

I noticed they got lazy with Brandi in that her attire on the box clearly shows she's wearing a tan colored long sleeve shirt, but there's no indication of that on her arms as they only included the blue graphics. I guess her skin tone was close enough to the shirt to get away with it. I know I'm nitpicking but it's little things like this that add up over time and make me sour on the line. Hopefully early corrections are made for series 2.

Scale is the one thing I am worried about. If they had more arms and shoulders choices that would at least help out in the bulk department. Right now it looks like Jericho, Cody and the Bucks all have the same arms and 3 of the four share the same upper body. So a few more pairs of arms to choose from In their parts library would make them different enough and it could be enough of a change to hide the use of the same torso on those three. But it’s only series one so hopefully it’s expanding as we speak. Come series 3 if the still only have two pairs of male arms and 3 torsos to choose from I will worry.

Have we seen any of the new images (with different lighting) for Omega and the Bucks? Was really excited for this line so want to see what these look like before either pre-ordering or waiting to see them in store. Hoping the lighting fixes some of the issues and they can learn as they moves through the series

Are they all the same height? The line is in scale with Elites. Everybody in S1 is right around 6ft, so yes, they should all be about the same height. Why did i think the bucks were like 5'5?
