Apparently the Good Brother Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson have signed with Impact and their contract will allow them to work for NJPW also which is a one of a kind contracts as no other person has these deals.

As I said on a different sight good signing by IMPACT but about 4 1/2 years to late.At the end of 2015 and the very start of 2016 IMPACT nearly signed both men along with AJ Styles & Shinsuke Nakamura but failed, always wonder what the wrestling landscape would have turned into if those four went to IMPACT instead of WWE ? but I guess better late then never in signing Anderson & Gallows.A sold tag team that can add credibility to the division and some depth which they badly need as the only legit tag team and tag team that's actually good in IMPACT right now are the champs in The North.
Hopefully this is a sign of good things to come and more talent coming into IMPACT as over the past year they've had and extremely hard time keeping talent around and after turning the company around in 2018 & 2019 under Don & Scott 2020 has been awful and things are slipping away.

I gotta feeling Heath (Slater) Miller will end up there too. The dude is looking bigger now, so I am guessing he is taking a helping bit of vitamins to get bigger to get that Impact Wrestling push.

Good signing imo I didn't really even consider them going there but glad I'm wrong. It can only help since they don't have many good teams besides The North and Rascalz

It sounds like the good brothers, Heath, Eric Young, EC3, and No Way Jose are all signing there. Hey at least now impact can say they picked up a ton of MAIN EVENT WWE talent.

I have no strong feelings on them signing in Impact. Hopefully Gallows is better in ring with more rest.

smartest move for them imo. they can help impact out while also being used where they truly belong in new japan. aew's tag division is plenty full as it is, so they aren't needed there.

Really, Impact? That's not even taking the ugliest girl in the bar home. It's like taking the girl that the ugliest girl in the bar makes fun of home.

I didn’t realize that their ratings don’t even get measured anymore because they fail to be in the top 250 cables shows on the night. Like I didn’t even know there are 250 cable shows on Tuesday night. I feel bad saying this but what is even the point? Honestly how do they make money? No live gate, no real licenses that I can see, can’t be making a lot on Merch. I’m all for wrestlers having places to go, I just gotta think at this point of the major American feds they are on the bottom right? After WWE, AEW, ROH, MLW and hell probably even New Japan in the US.

After WWE, AEW, ROH, MLW and hell probably even New Japan in the US. I don't remember the exact numbers, but as I understand it the cost of producing a weekly wrestling show is really cheap compared to the cost of similar replacement programming. Anthem spent a lot of money getting Impact a network to air on. I'd imagine they're using that as a key selling point in trying to get the network into more homes. This came up a lot in the early days of the AEW threads. The MNW conditioned fans look at the ratings. But you can have a lot of viewers and be bleeding money, and have a small audience and be very profitable. And that's even more true in a scenario where the parent company owns the network that the show airs on. It's pretty clear that Anthem sees this as the time to invest in the product and bring in some, comparatively, bigger names. It remains to be seen how it works out. But Anthem has invested a lot of money into making this work, and I'm assuming there's a pretty sound business plan behind it. Scott and Don have put together a pretty interesting tv show over the past few years working with limited flexibility. I'm excited to see what the product can offer over the next 6-12 months.

Why would they go to Impact. They are a sinking ship They're getting paid a lot of money for an easy schedule that lets them work elsewhere. It's pretty sweet when you think about it.

Yeah, I feel like they were set on going back to New Japan and Impact just happened to be a place that would let them work a few tapings here and then go to Japan until the next set of tapings.
