The Women's Royal Rumble & Royal Rumble Spots
I know I am going to get heat for this, but I freaking hate that they added a women's Royal Rumble. It used to be a one time a year thing and now we get two on the same damn card. I get that the WWE is the most progressive company in the world and that their female athletes are treated like queens and can do anything the men can do..... but couldn't they have gave them their own thing? How about a Queen of the Ring tournament where the winner gets a title shot at SummerSlam
Another thing I hate and this has gotten really bad the last five or so years is these spots in the Royal Rumble, there will be about six dudes in the ring on their knees "selling" in the corners so a spot can go down.
Actually, the WWE has pretty much stripped away all the fun I used to get from watching the Royal Rumble with how they book it and the fact there is two on a damn show. It was the one time a year I would still get that "kid" excitement for a wrestling PPV and now it feels just like another show.

Someone getting a rope break with a finger in the rope or something like that. Just use a kick out if you are going that route 🙄

The fact that I echo so many of these sentiments is just reenforcing my suspicion that I cannot go on a wrestling fan because god I hate how bad it is at this frequency. One in ten is life, but eight in ten proof the business is failing to be what it’s meant to be.

I've been numb to suicide dives or magnetic dives onto groups of people for years at this point, but lately, everybody either eating a boot or getting backdropped over the top rope after irish whipping someone into the corner has stood out like a sore thumb to me.

Finishers not actual finishing the match. Maybe 2 are needed but anymore is ridiculous.
And also finishers that aren’t anything really special or even look like it would be a finishing move. AKA “Superman Punch” If your finishing move is A leg/elbow drop, punch or kick, it better at least have a cool sounding finisher name or look cool doing it. Superman Punch is neither.

Another thing that bothers me is whenever a Superstar wins a title all the other stars run to social media to praise and tell them how much they deserve it, like even the person that lost the title. Then the next night on raw...”I want a rematch!”.
Could you imagine this behavior during the Attitude ERA ... DX: “ Such a great night with the NOD tonight at msg! Ronny, Dwayne and the gang deserved that pop!, we’ll see you at the Civic Cebter next week hehe!” NOD: “Big thanks to Mr. Levesque and Joanie for putting us over tonight! We look forward to continuing our fued! Giggle giggle. Hey Sean W. $uck it!! Omg totes Jkjk!”

When the announce table is cleared off and nobody is put through it
PPV main events ending in a DQ
A superstar receiving a forced push at the expense of one who has gotten organically over
The “sore loser” spot in a battle royal/Royal Rumble when an eliminated superstar comes right back to eliminate who eliminated them
The “slide outside the ring and hide for half the match and come back at the end” spot in battle royals/royal rumbles

Wrestling collectors who bid on eBay auctions hours or days before they end running up the price. I collect comics Joes transformers super hero toys vintage toys ect . And the wrestling figure section is the one group that does this consistently and inflated prices before the auction ends. I totally agree it's a piss off! I remember when you could buy a wcw galoob Big Josh for around $60-$80 bucks and even then I thought that was high for a figure without it's accessory. Now the f'n thing is $150-$200 on it's own without the axe handle. Yeeeeah forget that. I want the accessory included for that price.

I have another one, The Undertaker placing his hat and coat in the ring after his wrestlemania loss. Making an epic final goodbye to the fans-->only to return? Like way to blow the memory for a perfect retirement.

One of my main issues with the current product is the superstars making their own matches and even declaring themselves number 1 contenders for titles. I wish GM's would return.

I am however over all the you deserve it chants.

Finishers meaning nothing in modern wrestling. Why is it called a finisher if someone can kick out of 5 of them in a match. Finishers should automatically end the match, with rare kickouts being saved for a big show. But no more than 2 finishers should be needed to end a match.
The lack of selling in matches. We see too many matches turn into big spot after big spot with little to no selling from the performers. If someone goes through a table or thrown into the steel step, they should be hurt and no jumping up seconds later to move to the next big spot. Most performers should watch a Bret Hart match or two to learn how to tell a story in the ring.

Another one I have is I miss when wrestling fans were just wrestling fans. Now everyone is an expert at everything. Working the indies for the past 17 years there are way too many of them out there. There are fat ring rats who are telling workers how their storylines should be. There are 84 pound, pimply faced 40 year old men telling workers how to do a gimmick, there tubs of goo out there on Facebook pounding away on the keyboard bitching that there weren't enough double moonsaults into 19 tables and 24 chairs. That goes the same with all the mainstream fans, and that's all of us here too, the interwebs ruined a lot of things for a lot of people.

Ratings. WHO CARES!
They were a story ONCE. Back in the RAW vs Nitro days when they'd pull 5s.
Since then ratings have no where neared those numbers and never will again. But sites still talk about ratings. And the worst is fans of a certain promotion bringing up ratings as a way to think their brand is better. Why can't we just be wrestling fans and like wrestling? Also, just ragging on another brand to begin with. I don't like RAW and Smackdown as much as other brands but damn ... I'm not going to sit here and rag on a show and tout how "my show" was better. It's insane. The WZ boards for example ... a cesspool.
