I was thinking about this Series where Mattel rerelease rare figures In a series it could be a one off or a two part series it can be exclusive to target, Walmart, all those retailers what do you guys think.

Rereleases have become unpopular. Exclusives have become very popular. Exclusive rereleases is an oxymoron

As a newer collector I would really like a rerelease of some figures. Unfortunately, most of the guys I want probably aren't signed to WWE deals. Like Demolition and the Twin Towers.

If Mattel wanted to kill the value of those original releases, or make collectors who have said figures angry then they could go ahead.

I don't think Mattel is really invested in the secondary market. Besides slapping the words Collector's Edition on a package now and then. How angry are collectors going to get when they lose value in the figures they own? Angry enough to not buy more Mattel figures? I'll guess it's worth the risk.

Rereleases benefit collectors and only hurt scalpers and resellers

Makes no difference to me. The ones I wanted that are out are already standing on my shelves. So if they released them again I might buy another if I really like it or will just pass on it for something else.
