Random question about Jimmy Snuka

I like many of us have long wanted a barefoot traditional wrestling gear Snuka for my collection. This leads me to two questions. Is it tacky to even have Snuka in your collection with the allegations. Is he in league with Benoit now? Would I be insensitive to display a Snuka figure if he is a murderer?

I had long considered customizing the long trunks/boots figure. Has anyone done this and does anyone have pics? I'm curious the tone of the rest of the community here. I focus on golden era only and he seems needed in that era. Mixed feelings there.

buddy it's your collection, none of us are in your toy room judging who you collect. There are lots of barefoot Snuka customs, a quick google search with give you half-a-dozen really good ones. Do what makes you happy - if you love the golden era, he was a part of it.

Snuka is not Benoit.
I just bought the legends Snuka about two months ago. I would never ever have a Benoit in my house

I have no problem displaying mine. Granted it is put away for now but if I have the room I wouldn’t hesitate to put it up.

As far as OP goes, if you want a Snuka just get one and forget about it. I’ve got the legends one and it’s still on display. If I bothered with my Jakks anymore I’d still have the Benoit figures in there with the others. The only person you have to justify having figures of either of them to is yourself and maybe who you’re living with (if you are)

L6 Kevin Von Erich was often used as custom fodder for barefoot Superfly Snuka.

L6 Kevin Von Erich was often used as custom fodder for barefoot Superfly Snuka.

I was thinking Matt riddle would work nowadays. When did the basic Matt riddle come out and can I find it in stores?

It was series 103, not too long ago. It's probably much easier to find in stores than his upcoming elite. If you are looking for a L2 superfly for a custom, good luck with that...💸

I’ve made quite a few over the years. Many people discuss using shoe polish to tan Kevin Von Erich legs, but I can’t say I’ve actually seen anyone’s end result. All of the ones I’ve customized have been Kevin’s legs, repainted, but I do know the Marvel Legends legs are in scale.

Wow! That's really good. Definitely the one they should have released first but I get why they went with the one they did for legends 1. I always liked his Summer Slam 1989 look with the white leopard print and entrance gear, would have been cool to get that one too.

I did my Snuka using Tito Santanas legs but hes still wearing the brown boots. It came out great cause the skin tones match. Waiting on the Elite Riddle for the bare feet to complete it.

I see action figures as mini shrines. Guys you wanna honor and pay tribute to by proudly displaying them on your shelf or wherever. I would never want to display someone I believe to be a murderer no matter how good they were at their job. But that’s just me.
