January 27, 2013 from US Airways Center in Phoenix, AZ
----------------------------------
0. United States Championship: Antonio Cesaro© def. The Miz on the Royal Rumble Pre-Show after Miz injured his leg on a dive, setting the stage for Cesaro to eventually put him away via the Neutralizer.
1. Last Man Standing Match for the World Heavyweight Championship: Alberto Del Rio© (w/Ricardo Rodriguez) def. Big Show after applying a Cross Armbreaker while Rodriguez taped Show to the ring rope, allowing Del Rio to keep 'The World's Largest Athlete' down for the referee's count of ten.
2. WWE Tag Team Championship: Team Hell No© def. Team Rhodes Scholars in a ten-minute competitive contest, culminating with Bryan forcing Sandow in to submission with the No! Lock.
3. Royal Rumble Match: Chris Jericho (#2) last eliminated Dolph Ziggler (#1) after a springboard dropkick knocked Ziggler off of the apron, earning Jericho a WWE or World Heavyweight Championship opportunity at WrestleMania 29. Ryback (#30) and John Cena (#19) were eliminated 27th and 28th, respectively. NXT's Bo Dallas (#16) eliminated Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett (#18). Goldust (#8) also made an appearance only to be eliminated by his half-brother Cody Rhodes (#3).
4. WWE Championship: CM Punk© (w/Paul Heyman) def. The Rock after having the lights go out in the arena with Rock having been put through the announce table. January 28, 2013 from Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, NV
Footage from last night's Royal Rumble event is shown, highlighting how Chris Jericho made his return and eliminated the man that got rid of him in the first place last Summer, Dolph Ziggler, to win it all in the end. After the elevation from the surprise victory, the mood would be depleted after controversy arose in the main event where CM Punk defeated The Rock after the lights went out in the arena and Rock was put through the announce table, The Shield being speculated as the assailants of 'The Brahma Bull'. Tonight, what will both the Royal Rumble winner and WWE Champion have to say? Will Mr. McMahon address the situation with Punk? Also, Elimination Chamber qualifiers will begin with the winner receiving the second of the WWE or World Heavyweight Championship matches come WrestleMania 29!
After a welcoming to Monday Night Raw by Michael Cole, Jerry 'The King Lawler' and John Bradshaw Layfield, we are greeted by the arrival of the man that won the Royal Rumble last night, Chris Jericho! The Thomas and Mack Center greets him with much appreciation and he flashes a big smile as he makes his way down to the ring, being handed a microphone from ringside. "I think it would be rather inappropriate to not start things off by saying... WELCOME TO! RAW! IS! JERICHO!" He holds the mike over his head and lets the crowd roar back towards him. "In case you haven't heard the news... somebody won the Royal Rumble last night. That somebody being, oh, yours truly!!" He points to himself and smirks, saying that he accomplished a lot in his career, like beating Stone Cold and The Rock in the same night to become the first ever Undisputed Champion, as well as being a record nine-time Intercontinental Champion! One thing has alluded him throughout his entire twenty-plus year career, however, until last night. "It was just about a year ago when I first came back and I was the runner up, but I came back with a vengeance this year and I won the Royal Rumble match, baby! I'M GOING TO WRESTLEMANIA!" He pumps his fist in the air as a 'Y2J' chant bursts out throughout the Vegas crowd, Jericho's victory speech soon being interrupted by none other than Alberto Del Rio!
The World Heavyweight Champion makes his way out alongside Ricardo Rodriguez, patting his title around his waist and pointing around the arena. After coming in to the ring, Del Rio extends his hand to Jericho and they actually shake hands. Alberto is handed a microphone by Rodriguez and he congratulates Jericho on his Royal Rumble victory. "But while I congratulate you on your win, Chris... I did win the biggest Royal Rumble in the history of the WWE... and I am the World Heavyweight Champion still after I beat The Big Show in a Last Man Standing match last night!" He pulls the championship from his waist and raises it over his head in Jericho's face before draping it over his shoulder, Jericho asking if he just came out here to steal his spotlight or if he actually has a purpose being out here being an assclown! The WWE Universe chuckles, ADR getting close to Jericho to tell him that like he said, he respects and congratulates him on the win last night, but he would be making a very big mistake if he chose to face him at WrestleMania, so he just wants him to think about that and think about what it would be like to have his arm snapped. Del Rio pats Jericho on the side of his face and starts to head out of the ring, only for Jericho to tell him to hold on and yank him back - delivering a giant Codebreaker! Rodriguez puts his hands on his head in disbelief and kneels down over Del Rio, Jericho shrugging his shoulders while the crowd cheers him on! Jericho exits the ring with a smile across his face, the fans shortly roaring again as...
"I'm here to show the world! I'm here to show the world!" The entire WWE Universe rises on to their feet as out from the back runs Dolph Ziggler! In his trail is his 'posse' consisting of his girlfriend AJ Lee and his protection, Big E Langston. Ziggler sliding right in to the ring! He looks around and drills Rodriguez with a superkick that sends him flying across the ring and through the ropes! Ziggler waves his hand up the ramp and down to the ring runs a referee, whom is handed the Money in the Bank Briefcase! After assuring it with Ziggler, he hands it to the outside and Justin Roberts makes it official that Dolph is cashing in! He goes over to Del Rio as he is up in the corner and asks if he is ready, Alberto giving a few nods of assurance that he is prepared for the match.
1. World Heavyweight Championship: Dolph Ziggler (w/AJ Lee and Big E Langston) def. Alberto Del Rio© (w/Ricardo Rodriguez) after escaping a desperation Cross Armbreaker attempt from 'The Mexican Aristocrat', delivering a superkick afterward before hitting the Zig Zag for the pinfall.
"DOLPH ZIGGLER DID IT! DOLPH ZIGGLER DID IT! HE'S THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!" Screams Cole, Ziggler getting up yelling in celebration! He drops to his knees and pulls at his hair in disbelief, Big E and AJ Lee coming in to the ring, jumping up and down in joy. Atop the stage watches Chris Jericho still, grinning towards the ring while giving a slow clap as Ziggler hops from turnbuckle to turnbuckle, holding the World Championship over his head as Del Rio rolls to the outside against the barricade, Rodriguez staggering over to him in shock and dismay, Del Rio's reign being cut short here tonight!
---------------------------------- Coming back from the break, we get a replay of what just happened moments ago as we crowned a new World Heavyweight Champion as Dolph Ziggler cashed in his Money in the Bank Briefcase on Alberto Del Rio following an attack from the Royal Rumble winner, Chris Jericho!
2. Non-Title Match: Diva's Champion Kaitlyn def. Tamina Snuka in a back and forth contest, scoring the pinfall after avoiding a top rope splash and nailing the Spear for the three count.
Following the contest, Kaitlyn is presented her Diva's Championship. As she is celebrating the victory, however, Tamina gets back to her feet and hits a hard kick to the back of the head! She begins a beat down in the corner but down to the ring comes Natalya! She throws shots at Tamina, ducking a clothesline and hitting a spinning one of her own that sends Snuka flying over the ropes and to the floor. With Snuka shaken up, Natalya raises Kaitlyn's arm up to the dismay of her.
Backstage, we see the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No arguing with each other. "I just don't understand why you would just drop me like that." Bryan says, referring to the Royal Rumble match last night where Kane caught him as he was thrown to the outside, only to let him fall to the floor. "We're supposed to be a team, Kane! We're supposed to have each others backs!" As Bryan tries to get Kane to look him in the eye, 'The Big Red Monster' begins to chuckle. Daniel asks what is so funny, Kane telling him they have never been a cohesive unit. "While I am the tag team champions and you are my partner, you did eliminate me before that and showed how selfish you are!" Bryan shakes his head and says Kane has it all wrong, he eliminated him on accident. As the two continue to bicker back and forth, up to them comes the Raw Managing Supervisor, Vickie Guerrero, shouting her signature "excuse me!" repeatedly at them until she gains their attention. Bryan rubs his ear at the piercing shrieks, Vickie saying that she understands they are having some turmoil with each other and that is why she is going to have them compete in a rematch from last night as they take on Team Rhodes Scholars. "I am not going to have the WWE Tag Team Champions not be on the same page, so how about we make it for the WWE Tag Team Championship?" She lets out an evil laugh as she walks away - Bryan shaking his head and mumbling 'no!' under his breath repeatedly, Kane not seeming too pleased himself.
----------------------------------
A promo video airs for the upcoming pay-per-view "Elimination Chamber" on February 17th! 3. Elimination Chamber Qualifier: Sheamus def. Tensai in a hard hitting contest after an Irish Curse backbreaker and the Brogue Kick, putting the big Tensai down and out for the count.
The first man to qualify for the Elimination Chamber is none other than Sheamus, the former WWE and World Heavyweight Champion and 2012 Royal Rumble winner - as he looks to once again get a big world title match on April 7th at MetLife Stadium at WrestleMania 29!
----------------------------------
We come back from break to see Chris Jericho walking down the halls when he is suddenly stopped by Paul Heyman. The two have a long stare down with each other, the WWE Universe cheering on in the background as Heyman gives a big, cheeky smile towards Jericho. "Hello, Chris!" Heyman says, telling him it is so great to see him again. Jericho is quick to tell him to cut the crap and asks what he wants. "Well, Chris, I wanted to just give you a fair warning similar to that of the, well, now former World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio... you'd be making a big mistake to challenge CM Punk for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania, sir. You'd be making a grave... grave mistake. So, I think it would be in your best interest to just scurry along away from 'The Best in the World', the WWE Champion CM Punk." Jericho crosses his arms and scratches his head, going to respond only for the door behind Heyman to open, CM Punk stepping out with the WWE Championship over his shoulder and a grin across his face. "Hey, Paul, I'll take care of this." He says, Heyman stepping aside as Punk gets right up to Jericho, looking him right in the eyes. "In case you forgot what happened last year when we faced at WrestleMania, allow me to remind you that you'd be wasting your opportunity to face me again this year... you can go ahead and choose to do that if you want, Chris, but everybody knows that there is absolutely nobody that can stop me... tonight is day 435... tomorrow is 436, then 437 and it will keep on going straight through WrestleMania and through the next WrestleMania and one day, Chris, I will reach 2,804 days and pass Bruno Sammartino and then maybe I'll be willing to hand the WWE Championship over but until that day you don't stand a chance and nobody else stands a chance against me." The two continue to stare down, Jericho beginning to snicker. He pats the title on Punk's shoulder and tells him that was a very passionate speech, but he might not want to get too caught up because rumor has it, day 435 might be the last day because he heard through the grapevine that Mr. McMahon is none too pleased about what went down last night. "So, maybe I'll see you come WrestleMania... maybe not. We'll see." He flashes a smile and heads off, Punk biting down on his lip as he storms back in to his room, Heyman following right after him trying to calm him - saying there is nothing to worry about!
---------------------------------- 4. Non-Title Elimination Chamber Qualifier: United States Champion Antonio Cesaro def. The Miz in a rematch from the Royal Rumble pre-show last night, putting Miz away with the Neutralizer.
The cocky, yet very talented, United States Champion from Switzerland calls for a microphone after a short celebration of the victory. "Already, I stand here as the greatest United States Champion of all time!" He says to a strong amount of boos. "It is understandable that you are all disappointed in your fellow Americans that have failed to be as great as I have been holding this title... and soon, I will put all of them to shame once again after I go to WrestleMania and become a World Champion!" He drops the microphone and holds his United States Championship over his head, still being booed.
---------------------------------- We get a replay of last night where Bo Dallas was a participant in the Royal Rumble match, managing to surprise everyone by lasting over twenty minutes! After he managed to eliminate Wade Barrett, the Intercontinental Champion would come unglued and yank Dallas over the ropes - ruining his moment and opportunity of being in the Royal Rumble match!
5. Non-Title Match: Bo Dallas def. Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett in a match mostly dominated by Barrett, the End of Days eventually being reversed in to a small package and stunning the Intercontinental Champion for the second night in a row as it garners the one, two, three.
The crowd and commentators are completely caught off-guard as Dallas rolls out of the ring, Barrett on his knees with his hands over his head in disbelief! Dallas is followed by the referee and has his arm raised up, the Intercontinental Champion slamming his hands in to the mat. Dallas, meanwhile, has managed to get one over on Barrett for the second night in a row!
---------------------------------- Returning, John Cena makes his entrance to a typical polarizing reaction from the WWE Universe. "Time to get back on the grind! We still got one more opportunity at WrestleMania!" He says to the camera before hitting the ring, waiting for his opponent to arrive. However, it is Raw Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero whom comes out from the back - excusing herself over all of the booing. "John! Last night at the Royal Rumble, you failed!" She says with a laugh. "And tonight, you will have a tough hill to climb once again to get anywhere near WrestleMania this year because you will be facing one of the most dangerous superstars in WWE history!" She gestures her hand out and 'The World's Strongest Man' Mark Henry proceeds to stomp his way out! Coming off a career-threatening injury nine months ago, Mark Henry is back!
6. Elimination Chamber Qualifier: John Cena vs Mark Henry goes to a double count out after a tough fight between both men results in a brawl on the outside, Henry crashing in to Cena with a shoulder right through the barricade with neither man able to get up and respond to the ten count of the official.
'The World's Strongest Man' finally begins to stir shortly after the bell sounds, getting up via the barricade part that is still together. He falls up against the ring and looks to the referee, whom confirms that it was a double count out. Henry's eyes grow and he looks furious, storming over the announce table and clearing it off! He walks back over to Cena and drags him up again, putting him right through the announce table with the World's Strongest Slam! The Thomas and Mack Center gives a majority response of boos, Henry getting back to his feet and standing over Cena. "THAT'S WHAT I DO!" He shouts, marching away around the ring as we have multiple referees and the WWE Medic come to Cena's side to check on him.
---------------------------------- We come back to a replay of the match between John Cena and Mark Henry moments ago in an Elimination Chamber Qualifier, where it would go to a double count out. After the match, Henry would put Cena through the announce table. "Due to the result of the match, however, ladies and gentlemen, we have received word that both John Cena and Mark Henry will be in the Elimination Chamber Match in three weeks!" Cole informs. "Still to come later tonight will be our final qualifier and next week right here on Raw, we are going to have a battle royal to determine the sixth and final man in the match!" Cole also says that the good news was that John Cena was able to walk with limited assistance from the medical staff and officials to the back during the commercial break.
In the back is Matt Striker, whom introduces his guest to be the new World Heavyweight Champion, Dolph Ziggler! He comes up with a bottle of champagne in his hand, title over his shoulder while pouring a glass for both AJ Lee and Big E Langston as they are at his sides with just as big of smiles on their faces as the new champion. Striker congratulates Ziggler on the win, but before he has the opportunity to ask any questions about the win earlier on tonight, Ziggler cuts him off. "What a great night this is, Matty!" He shouts, drinking straight from the champagne bottle to the encouragement of Lee and Langston. "And it isn't just a great night for us, Matty... it's a great night for the entire WWE Universe and this Friday on Smackdown we're going to be having an even bigger celebration than we're going to have tonight. I'm talking fireworks, I'm talking balloons, I'm talking even more champagne and I'm talking about the best night of my life!" He wraps his arm around AJ and plants a kiss on her, heading off with Langston in tow.
----------------------------------
A video airs for WWE's newest and soon to debut superstar Fandango, his ballroom dancing expertise being on full display as well as his elaborate pronunciation of his own name.
7. Elimination Chamber Qualifier: Ryback def. David Otunga after 'The Big Guy' runs right through Otunga with relative ease, eventually putting the Harvard graduate away with Shell Shocked for the pinfall.
The "Feed me more!" chants quickly build up as Ryback gets to his feet, pumping his arms up and down. He then stops all of a sudden to look up at the WrestleMania 29 sign in the rafters, pointing up to it before starting the chant again with the fans.
Once again, we go to the back to Matt Striker and this time his guests are Team Rhodes Scholars. He looks for a word on getting yet another opportunity at the WWE Tag Team Championship and wants to know what they will do different tonight in order to finally become the champions. "Idiotic questions like that are why you never succeeded, Striker." Sandow says, sharing a laugh with Rhodes - whom throws in how Team Hell No is an immature and unsophisticated team that has and never will be at the caliber of Team Rhodes Scholars. "They got lucky last night and luck is for losers, Striker!" Sandow throws in, Rhodes saying that tonight is the night that they finally become WWE Tag Team Champions.
----------------------------------
8. WWE Tag Team Championship: Team Hell No© def. Team Rhodes Scholars in a very competitive bout, a battle between Bryan and Sandow on the outside leading to Sandow being thrown in to the steel steps. With Rhodes distracted by his partner being downed, he turns in to a Chokeslam from Kane for the three count.
Once again, Kane and Bryan manage to work well enough to get the job done and join each other in the ring - being handed the WWE Tag Team Championship belts. They argue in fashion we've come accustomed to over who is the tag team champion, while on the outside Sandow and Rhodes have something to really argue about as they have failed once again.
Backstage, the WWE Champion CM Punk and Paul Heyman are talking things over with one another as the walk down the halls as the WWE Champion will be coming down to the ring next to address his controversial victory over The Rock! Will Mr. McMahon have something to say as well?
---------------------------------- 'Cult of Personality' hits and the arena is thunderously loud with a combination of cheers and boos. CM Punk proceeds to makes his way out with a big smile, Paul Heyman in tow with the WWE Championship clutched to his chest. He eventually hands it over to the champion, whom puts it right in the face of the fans while coming down the ramp. After they get in to the ring, each man holds a microphone and Heyman steps forward first. "Ladies and gentlemen... my name is Paul Heyman and allow me to introduce to you... not just my best friend, not just the best in the world... but the man that defeated your hero Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson last night and the WWE Champion - C! M! PUNK!" He steps aside and once again, Punk hoists the WWE Championship over his head. He puts it back down over his shoulder and prepares to speak, only to stop himself and let the crowd go on a bit longer. "Today... is day 435 of the single greatest run as WWE Champion in the modern era... and it is just the 435th day of what will go down in the record books as the greatest run as WWE Champion in the history of this business! One day when you're all old and have nothing to reflect back on in your own lives, you'll be able to tell your grandchildren that you got to see CM Punk beat everyone to become the longest reigning champion in WWE!" He runs down the names like John Cena, Alberto Del Rio, Ryback, Daniel Bryan, Kane and so on and now The Rock can be added to that list. He says that last night, there was some controversy and everybody is saying the same thing they've been saying for a long time now and that is that The Shield got involved in his match. "I've said it before and I'll say it again, people, I have absolutely nothing to do with The Shield! I never have and I certainly did not last night. So Vince McMahon can make his threats to strip me of the WWE Championship but so help me God I will sue Vincent Kennedy McMahon's ass to bankrupcy if he dares take this away from me because he has absolutely no proof about what went down last night and neither does anybody else! Not any of the stupid people in Phoenix last night, not the stupid referee, not you stupid people watching at home and damn sure not stupid Michael Cole at ringside that shouted out: 'That's The Shield! That's The Shield!' at the top of his lungs like a little girl." Punk even takes a cheap dig at Lawler, saying that when the lights went out he probably almost had another heart attack - drawing a sharp 'ooh' from the crowd. Punk says that the fact of the matter is, whether they like it or not, he beat The Rock last night and Dwayne is not the WWE Champion - he is! "And whether it is Chris Jericho or whoever wins the Elimination Chamber match in three weeks, come WrestleMania they'll become just another hash mark on the list of those who have failed trying to beat 'The Best in the World' CM Punk." He holds the title belt up over his head again, Heyman applauding Punk with a glowing smile on his face, which slowly fades away at the very familiar sound of 'No chance...'
Out from the back struts the Chairman of WWE, Mr. McMahon, taking in the ovation from the WWE Universe before coming down and in to the ring. His music fades out and Heyman goes to say something, being quickly shut down and told to shut up! "CM Punk... I told you that if The Shield got involved in your match last night against The Rock, you would be stripped of that WWE Championship..." He reminds, Punk holding the belt to his chest with a grin while shouting that he has no evidence. "You're right on that part, Punk... I don't really have any evidence. I also don't think it is necessary to have that evidence, to be honest, because I personally believe lights out or not, it is pretty obvious that it was Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns that put The Rock through that table last night. I think it is pretty obvious that you are paranoid of losing the WWE Championship and you will do whatever it it takes to keep it..." Punk steps forward, snatching Heyman's mike away while getting in the face of the Chairman. "Maybe you didn't hear me, you geriatric son of a bitch! You take this away from me, you take my WWE Championship and I sue your ass! Then when you've got nothing left, it'll be even more remembered than the longest reigning WWE Champion of all time, because it won't be like the last time when I walked out as champion and came back, but nobody will be back and it will go down in the history books as the final WWE Champion in history being CM Punk!" McMahon looks around the arena, trying to keep his cool. Punk continues to egg him on, however, daring him to take the WWE Championship away from him and see what happens. Finally, Vince steps forward and shouts Punk's name, pointing at the title only to be stopped: 'Sierra... Hotel... India... Echo... Lima... Delta... Shield." The arena grows eerily quiet as from the crowd comes Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. They hop over the barricade and circle the ring, Punk and Heyman having concerned looks on their faces - as well as McMahon. After The Shield's music dies down, they get up on to the apron and the crowd grows anxious. They slowly enter the ring and stay at a side of the ring each, Punk and Heyman quick to roll out of the ring! Vince is left standing in the middle and he looks from side to side at Ambrose and Rollins, putting his hands up. He turns around and walks right in to the chest of Reigns, whom shakes his head with a very serious look across his face. The Chairman of WWE backs up slowly, Ambrose and Rollins coming up behind him and taking him by the shoulders, pushing him right back towards Reigns! "THAT'S THE CHAIRMAN OF THE WWE! LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Screams Cole, The Shield proceeding to lift him off the mat and plant him with the triple powerbomb! The Las Vegas crowd is in total shock as McMahon is motionless on the mat, the three members of The Shield standing over him. Atop the stage, Punk and Heyman appear to be just as surprised by the attack as in the ring, Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns put their fists together over the downed body of McMahon, having sent their biggest message yet as Monday Night Raw concludes!

Very interesting, if not ballsy, decision to keep the title on Punk here. Loved the surprises of the cash-in and Shield attacking Vince. This diary certainly has my attention!

February 1, 2013 from Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, CA
Replay footage from Monday Night Raw airs, where the Royal Rumble winner Chris Jericho was giving his victory speech until he was interrupted by the World Heavyweight Champion, Alberto Del Rio. He would come out and warn Jericho not to face him, for it would be a waste of a golden opportunity once he had his arm snapped by him. Jericho would proceed to send a message to Del Rio by laying him out with the Codebreaker. As 'Y2J' made his way out of the ring, however, Dolph Ziggler would rush down to the ring and cash in his Money in the Bank Briefcase! Despite a fight from the dazed Del Rio, Ziggler would deliver the Zig Zag and capitalize on the opportunity to become the new World Heavyweight Champion! Tonight, a celebration for the new champion.
We are welcomed Friday Night Smackdown by Josh Mathews and John Bradshaw Layfield on a night where a new era is set to begin as we have a new World Heavyweight Champion! "Just a little over two weeks did Alberto Del Rio hold the World Heavyweight Championship, ladies and gentlemen, and that reign was cut short at the hands of Dolph Ziggler this past Monday on Raw!" Says Mathews, JBL saying that Ziggler capitalized on an opportunity and now has put his name in the history books! The ring has a black rug set across it with multiple tables with champagne, cake and balloons on them. Also, a big painting of Ziggler's moment from Raw celebrating with the World Heavyweight Championship is set. After a moment of waiting, Dolph Ziggler himself makes his way out from the back! He is dressed up nicely and flaunts the World Heavyweight Championship belt to the crowd as his girlfriend AJ Lee and protection Big E Langston follow closely behind him. The trio come down to the ring and 'The Show Off' takes his time to show off the title to the WWE Universe some more before moving over to the champagne, pouring some for himself, AJ and Big E. "What a time it is to be alive, isn't it?" He asks with a laugh. "You all no longer have to live in a world where Alberto Del Rio is the World Heavyweight Champion... no, no! Instead you get to live in the wonderful world with Dolph Ziggler as the World Heavyweight Champion!" He holds the title up high again and says that for years and years people have criticized him and said he would never be able to get the job done. He says that when he won the Money in the Bank last year, everyone thought he was going to be the first guy to cash in and lose. "But guess what? The person that cashed in Money in the Bank and didn't walk out champion wasn't Dolph Ziggler, it was John Cena! You know, the guy I beat in December at TLC? You know... the second best night of my life when I made my relationship with AJ known to the world?" He pulls her close and at first, she seems caught off guard by him calling it the second best night of his life, but shakes it off quickly - looking up to him with a smile. "And this past Monday on Raw I came down to this ring and I cashed in Money in the Bank and I became World Heavyweight Champion and I'll be damned if I don't get my WrestleMania moment this year while I have this around my waist!" AJ takes the microphone and says that she just has one thing to say to 'her Ziggy'. She says that she'll admit she has been around a lot of guys in the past year, from Daniel Bryan to John Cena to even Kane, but out of every single man she has been with, they are all inadequate compared to Dolph. They share a smile and kiss over the double-entendre, Ziggler raising his glass and proposing a toast to the new era! The era of Dolph Ziggler as the World Heavyweight Champion they deserve!
All three go to sip from their glass, but the theme music of Alberto Del Rio cuts them off! The former World Heavyweight Champion storms his way out from the back, not wasting any time to come towards the ring with Ricardo Rodriguez at his side. As soon as he gets on the apron, however, he is stopped by his voice being yelled repeatedly. Out to the stage comes the Smackdown General Manager Booker T, saying he understands how frustrated Del Rio is but he isn't going to let him cause a bunch of chaos to start things off tonight. The crowd groans at Booker, whom is quick to tell Del Rio not to get too upset about that, however, because he has a solution. "As a matter of fact, I've got two solutions! Alberto, I'm going to give you two chances to win back your World Heavyweight Championship!" Del Rio's attention is grabbed as Ziggler is livid in the ring, Booker going on to explain that tonight, he is going to make the main event a rematch from Monday as it will be Dolph Ziggler defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Alberto Del Rio! The San Diego fans pop for the announcement, Booker saying that the second opportunity will come in three weeks at Elimination Chamber. "Because while we have an Elimination Chamber match for six men to decide who faces the man Chris Jericho does not select to go up against at WrestleMania, we are going to have an Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Championship! And the good news for you, Alberto and Dolph, is that you're already in the match - champion or not. But the champion will be determined tonight when you go one-on-one in the main event! NOW CAN YOU DIG THAT... SUCKA!?" Booker smiles and waves to the crowd as he makes his way through the curtains, Del Rio motioning for the World Heavyweight Championship back around his waist as Ziggler, AJ and Langston are all in absolute disbelief of the announcements from Booker!
----------------------------------
Returning from the break, we see Ziggler and AJ still at ringside as Big E Langston is in the now cleared up ring, as this will be the first time we see him in a one-on-one match and it is a big one, as it is an Elimination Chamber Qualifier! "And Dolph Ziggler would love to have his protection inside of that dangerous structure in three weeks!" Mathews says, JBL shouting of course he would!
1. Elimination Chamber Qualifier: Big E Langston (w/World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler and AJ Lee) def. R-Truth after dominating the vast majority of the contest, Truth's attempt at a comeback failing as a missed Axe Kick leads to Langston hitting his signature Big Ending, leading to him getting the pinfall.
In to the ring comes Ziggler and AJ, the prior patting Big E on the chest telling him that is what he is talking about. "Do it again..." He says right in his ear, Langston nodding as he drags Truth back up by his hair - looking out to the crowd and taking in the boos. He proceeds to deliver a second Big Ending to Truth right in the middle of the ring, getting applauded by Ziggler and AJ as he gets back to his feet. Despite the lack of ring experience, Langston could be a dangerous force in the chamber!
---------------------------------- A promo video airs for the upcoming pay-per-view "Elimination Chamber" on February 17th!
2. Non-Title Match: WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No def. Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara in a back and forth battle, Bryan and Kane managing to come together with Bryan hitting a suicide dive on Mysterio in to the barricade, leaving Cara to fall to a Chokeslam from Kane for the win.
The Tag Team Champions meet with one another in the middle of the ring, Bryan holding both title belts in his arms. He seems to be prepared to hand one over to Kane but stops himself. "I'M THE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!" He shouts, Kane quick to argue back that he is the Tag Team Champions, as while they are still dysfunctional, they have managed to remain successful throughout all.
----------------------------------
We come back to see Bo Dallas at ringside, joining Josh Mathews and John Bradshaw Layfield on commentary, Mathews congratulating on his success over the course of this week. "Thanks, Josh. It has been a crazy week and the experience has been amazing!" Dallas responds with a smile.
3. Non-Title Elimination Chamber Qualifier: Randy Orton def. Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett in a lengthy, competitive match up between former rivals. After pushing Dallas at ringside, Bo grabs the foot of Barrett near the ropes and provides enough of a distraction to cost Barrett the match via an RKO from 'The Viper'.
Orton gets back to his feet and throws his hands up and down to the crowd, all fired up! He looks to the outside to see Dallas watching from the outside. Despite the interference and Orton's usual lone wolf status, he gives a slight nod to Dallas and continues his celebration, Barrett crawling to the ropes with his hand on the back of his head, giving a cold stare towards the rookie that has been a big thorn in his side this week, vowing his vengeance upon Bo Dallas!
---------------------------------- We come back at ringside to Josh Mathews and John Bradshaw Layfield, whom turn back to footage from Raw this past Monday night, where CM Punk was in the ring talking about his controversial victory over The Rock, where he would claim no collusion with The Shield. However, the Chairman of the WWE, Vince McMahon, would come down to the ring and it would appear he was going to live up to his promise by stripping Punk of the WWE Championship despite Punk's vow to sue McMahon due to the lack of proof. Before McMahon could finish his sentence, The Shield's music would hit and they would come down to the ring. After Punk and Heyman escaped from the ring, the dangerous trio would send their biggest message yet as they would deliver their signature triple powerbomb to McMahon. Mathews says that Mr. McMahon was taken to a hospital in Las Vegas after Raw this past Monday and apparently suffered a broken hip, but is expected to make a full recovery.
Backstage we go, The Shield standing in a circle with the cameras looking up to them. They are booed as Ambrose takes hold of the camera, pointing it right towards him. "You expected The Shield to just stand by and watch as an unjustice like that what was going to happen on Monday?" He asks with a laugh, Rollins saying that they were just doing what they have done since day one. Reigns says that they don't feel bad for the condition of Vince McMahon. "And while we had nothing to do with CM Punk's match at the Royal Rumble, we have no problem saying we protected him this past Monday on Raw." Ambrose adds in that stripping Punk of the WWE Championship was nothing they were too concerned about, it was none of their business... until their name got thrown in to the hat of accusation for the controversy at the Royal Rumble. "You can think what you want to think but don't think for one second that you're right thinking it was us." Rollins adds, saying that whatever went down in the WWE Championship match was out of their hands. "But since Mr. McMahon could not take the time to investigate what went down and instead put us as the only suspect... justice had to be served and Vince felt that justice first hand." Ambrose says that they don't feel bad about the broken hip and warns that if Mr. McMahon wants to make accusations like he did on Monday about them ever again, it may be a lot worse than just a broken hip as repercussions. "Believe that..." Reigns says, putting his fist out to touch with Rollins and Ambrose. "And believe in The Shield."
----------------------------------
A video airs for WWE's newest and soon to debut superstar Fandango, his ballroom dancing expertise being on full display as well as his elaborate pronunciation of his own name. 4. Elimination Chamber Qualifier: Big Show def. The Great Khali (w/Hornswoggle) in a slow moving, but quickly finished match with Show getting the win after a Chokeslam that doesn't get much air under Khali followed by a Knockout Punch to keep 'The Punjabi Playboy' down.
Show gets back to his feet, being hit with boos for the victory. He barks at the crowd and demands a microphone from ringside. "You want to boo me!?" He questions, shaking his head. "I should be cheered. I should be the World Heavyweight Champion! You people booing me are probably the same one that were laughing at me for what happened on Sunday, aren't you?" He continues to shake his head and says that they can laugh and boo now, but at Elimination Chamber he is going to run right through those five others and get back what is rightfully his! As he drops the microphone and turns around, the crowd is buzzing as Hornswoggle has come to the top rope! He stops in his tracks, however, as Show walks up to him. After a brief staredown, 'The World's Largest Athlete' shows no mercy as he blasts Hornswoggle with the Knockout Punch as well! He slowly collapses on to the apron and down to the floor, Show exiting the ring with Khali and Hornswoggle out cold.
---------------------------------- 5. Elimination Chamber Qualifier: Kofi Kingston def. Damien Sandow (w/Cody Rhodes) in a contest featuring a ton of involvement from Rhodes. After the referee's ejection of Cody from ringside, Sandow hits a low blow kick behind the referee's back. After the You're Welcome, he goes for Cubito Aequet but Kingston throws a boot up to the head and Trouble in Paradise for the pinfall.
Kingston rises up and claps to the crowd in joy after getting on to the second rope, being caught off guard as in to the ring from behind comes Rhodes! He goes for the Disaster Kick but Kingston ducks, Sandow just getting up in a daze to be hit with it! Kofi proceeds to also hit Rhodes with Trouble in Paradise and sends him crashing to the outside! Team Rhodes Scholars have once again been thwarted this week, this time at the hands of Kofi Kingston - whom is going to Elimination Chamber!
In the back we have Matt Striker standing by, his guest at this time being Alberto Del Rio. He gets a big ovation from the crowd as he steps forward, Striker thanking him for his time ahead of his rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship - just wanting a few words on what he thinks of not only getting to face Dolph Ziggler tonight but having to step inside of the Elimination Chamber in three weeks. "Dolph Ziggler... got lucky on Monday. He caught me off guard and in case you forgot, Matthew... I almost made him tap out anyway. Tonight, there is no catching me off guard and I will win back the World Heavyweight Championship." He shrugs his shoulders and says that as for the Elimination Chamber, he isn't concerned one bit. He says he has a lot bigger things to worry about, like tonight as he becomes a two-time World Heavyweight Champion. "But Matthew... you... you already knew that." He pats Striker on the cheek and heads off - the main event coming up next!
----------------------------------
6. World Heavyweight Championship: Alberto Del Rio (w/Ricardo Rodriguez) def. Dolph Ziggler© (w/AJ Lee and Big E Langston) via disqualification in a long, back and forth main event. After a Cross Armbreaker from Del Rio puts Ziggler in danger, Big Show marches his way down to the ring and drops an elbow on to the chest of Del Rio to force the DQ.
Show gets back up and drags Del Rio to his feet by the neck, delivering a huge Chokeslam! In to the ring to try and help is Rodriguez, but he gets tossed all the way across the ring! Show slowly gets out of the ring and goes to a specific part of the ring, reaching underneath to pull out a roll of duct tape! He gets back in and Del Rio comes wobbling to him, throwing fists only to be met with a knee to the gut. Show hits a big boot and drags Alberto to the ropes, proceeding to wrap his wrist around the ropes with the duct tape just as he had done to him on Sunday! After getting Del Rio secured, Show cocks his fist. "You want to embarrass me, huh!? YOU WANT TO TAKE WHAT IS MINE AWAY FROM ME, HUH!?" He shouts, Del Rio trying to throw kicks while pulling at the tape - unable to get free. Suddenly, Rodriguez leaps on to Show's shoulders and wraps his arms around the head and neck. 'The World's Largest Athlete' shakes himself a bit and throws Rodriguez down over him! As he staggers back up, Del Rio pleads for Show to leave him alone only to have Show not listen one bit and instead lay Ricardo out with the Knockout Punch! After letting Del Rio shout and squirm some more, Show gets his fist ready once again. He mocks Alberto for him to come towards him and after 'The Mexican Aristocrat' spits at the giant, Show delivers the Knockout Punch! ADR's legs buckle and he crumbles to the mat, still dangling by the one arm. The Valley View Casino Center boos Show as he slowly exits the ring, making his way up the ramp with some revenge extracted here tonight on Alberto Del Rio. Friday Night Smackdown comes to a close, Del Rio and Rodriguez both motionless.

February 4, 2013 from Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA
Video footage from last week's Raw starts things off tonight, where CM Punk and Paul Heyman were confronted by Mr. McMahon, whom had vowed to strip Punk of the WWE Championship if The Shield had gotten involved in his match at Royal Rumble. As he was about to fulfill his promise, The Shield themselves would strike and lay McMahon out with their signature triple powerbomb. After the video fades out, we come in to the Philips Arena from Atlanta, Georgia! With Michael Cole, Jerry 'The King' Lawler and John Bradshaw Layfield on commentary, we learn tonight that we will be hearing from the WWE Champion - CM Punk - tonight in regards to what happened last week. Plus, a battle royal to determine who will be the last entrant in the number one contendership battle royal will take place and the winner will join in on a six man tag team preview match in tonight's main event! Plus, Chris Jericho is expected to announce which title he will challenge for at WrestleMania 29!
The signature riff of 'Cult of Personality' hits once we come in to the ring, a big mixed reaction coming throughout the building. The WWE Champion, CM Punk, proceeds to make his way out along with Paul Heyman as Michael Cole, Jerry 'The King' Lawler and John Bradshaw Layfield give the welcome on commentary. After Punk and Heyman get in to the ring, a replay from last week's attack by The Shield on Mr. McMahon is shown. After the footage we go back in the arena, the champion seeming to be a bit flustered as he grabs a microphone, running his hand over his head repeatedly - apparently at a loss for words for once as he can't say anything once he brings the mike up. Finally, after gazing out to the WWE Universe, he begins to speak. "Wow. What I can I say about that?" He asks, receiving harsh boos for his claim of ignorance towards the event. "Hey! I want to make it clear to each and every one of you idiots, I had nothing to do with The Shield doing that and I've never had anything to do with The Shield! Get that through your thick skulls! You think I condone The Shield triple powerbombing the Chairman of the WWE!?" A resounding chant ala Daniel Bryan bursts out of 'Yes!' in response, Punk pacing back and forth out of frustration. He says that yes, he was not happy with Vince McMahon's decision to potentially strip him of the WWE Title but the bottom line is, he did not call on Ambrose, Reigns and Rollins to do what they did. He reminds everybody how he threatened to sue McMahon if he took his WWE Championship away and he was very serious about that, but he would never have him assaulted like that. "And if you still don't believe me, you can look back on the tape! You think that Paul and I could make facial expressions the way we did if we were faking it!? That was real! That was real emotion, people! I felt bad for the old sap getting his hip broken, whether I like him or not! I didn't want to go on to WWE.com or Twitter last week and see him on the front page in a hospital bed with his idiot daughter and doofus son-in-law at his side! You think I wanted to see that!? No! Contrary to popular belief, I have a soul! I may be 'The Best in the World' and better than everybody else... but I do have compassion!"
As Punk continues to be marred by boos, out to the stage comes the Raw Managing Supervisor, Vickie Guerrero, giving her signature 'excuse me!' line twice before shrieking it at the crowd. Punk and Heyman both dig at their ears in the ring over the sharp tone, Guerrero saying that she, for one, actually believes CM Punk. "Thank you, Vickie! Thank you! At least somebody around here believes me! Somebody around here actually respects me! Thank you!" He and Heyman nod to one another but Vickie isn't done, saying that after what happened last week, she was very concerned and went to see Vince herself in the hospital. She then went to the WWE Board of Directors and after they discussed things over with her and Mr. McMahon, a decision was made in regards to Punk and the WWE Championship. "So, Punk, you'll be glad to hear that you will not be stripped of the WWE Championship." She informs to his approval, saying that there is more, though. "But in two weeks at Elimination Chamber, you will have to defend the WWE Championship... against The Rock." The positive look across Punk and Heyman's faces quickly fade away, as they both begin to argue over the announcement, Vickie saying that she still was not finished! She also says that if Punk does not show up for his match at Elimination Chamber, he will be stripped of the title. But there is also... one last thing. "If there is absolutely any outside interference on your behalf, Punk, you will lose the WWE Championship to The Rock!" Guerrero thanks him and heads off to the back, the WWE Champion coming completely unglued over all of the announcements coming at him, storming all across the ring with Heyman doing his best to try and calm him down to no avail!
---------------------------------- After the break, we are informed that The Rock will be here next week ahead of his just announced WWE Championship match at Elimination Chamber! We cut to see Matt Striker catching up in the backstage area to CM Punk and Paul Heyman, asking them about what they think of The Rock being here next week and what he'll have to say to 'The Great One'. Punk scoffs and storms away, Heyman getting right up close to Striker. "How convenient... how convenient of The Rock to show up next week, huh? You've got the greatest WWE Champion here week in and week out, defending his title every time he is forced to, fair or not, and The Rock can come whenever he damn well pleases and get title shot after title shot. Well, Mr. Striker... CM Punk and I welcome the arrival of The Rock next week and perhaps before he goes to sleep at Elimination Chamber... he'll go to sleep next week on Monday Night Raw."
1. Battle Royal for the Final Spot in the Elimination Chamber: Dean Ambrose last eliminates WWE Tag Team Champion Daniel Bryan in a match also featuring Bo Dallas, Brodus Clay, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow, Darren Young, The Great Khali, Kane, The Miz, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Tensai, Titus O'Neil, Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett and Zack Ryder. Aside from Dallas eliminating himself and Barrett, The Shield dominate the match, Kane then shocking Reigns and Rollins near the end by eliminating both of them. With Team Hell No alone with Ambrose, they zero on getting a win but Rollins and Reigns return to the ring to assist their Shield brother, eliminating Kane before putting Bryan down with a Triple Powerbomb, handing his body off to Ambrose for the final toss over the top rope.
"You've to to be kidding me!" Cole shouts in disgust, JBL commending The Shield for being such a cohesive unit and getting Ambrose in to the Elimination Chamber! Meanwhile, Bryan is helped to his feet on the outside by Kane and they stare in to the ring, clearly not happy with The Shield.
----------------------------------
We come back from break to see all three members of The Shield walking through the back, talking each other up and how Ambrose is going to win the Elimination Chamber in a few weeks. Up to them storms the WWE Tag Team Champions, Team Hell No! "You got a problem!?" Kane yells, the two sides barking back and forth - requiring security to come on to the scene and split them up! As they keep jawing at one another, the Raw Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero continues her already busy night by walking up and excusing herself until all go silent. "Shield, Team Hell No... clearly, you have your differences after what just happened. Good thing I have a solution! In two weeks at Elimination Chamber, it will be Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns versus Team Hell No for the WWE Tag Team Championship!" The crowd and the two teams are happy with the announcement, Guerrero saying that in the mean time, tonight it will be Daniel Bryan versus Seth Rollins! "See you later, little boy!" Rollins says with a cackle, him and Reigns backing off.
Matt Striker is standing by elsewhere with the new World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler, Big E Langston and AJ Lee. He thanks them for their time and asks Ziggler about his roller coaster of a week as last week, he cashed in his Money in the Bank to become the World Champion, then he had his celebration on Smackdown lead to the announcement he would defend the the title inside of the Elimination Chamber and he had to put it on the line against Alberto Del Rio on Smackdown. "You're right, Matty, it was a roller coaster of a week..." Ziggler responds, adjusting his title over his shoulder. "But I'm still standing here as the World Heavyweight Champion and in a few weeks at Elimination Chamber, I'll be damned if I am not standing right back here still the World Heavyweight Champion." Langston throws out that he'll be in there having Ziggler's back and he guarantees that it will be Dolph Ziggler heading in to WrestleMania as World Heavyweight Champion. The trio head off as Ziggler and Langston are in tag team action after the break.
----------------------------------
2. World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston (w/AJ Lee) def. Randy Orton and Kofi Kingston in a preview tag team match of the World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber match, Orton chasing after Ziggler on the outside toward the end, leaving Kingston to miss on the Trouble in Paradise, be pushed in to the corner and dropped with the Big Ending for the pinfall.
Orton stays on his hands and knees, looking up at Langston as he rises laughing over the result. As he is chuckling, Orton gets back to his feet and runs at him, the two exchanging fists wildly! As soon as Orton starts to gain an advantage over Big E, however, Ziggler comes in from behind and lays him out with the Zig Zag! The World Champion gets back up and AJ gets in the ring with his title belt, handing it over to him with a smile over her face. The two proceed to make out right in the middle of the ring, Big E standing with his arms crossed next to them as both Orton and Kingston remain down on the mat. "And don't forget about that advantage come Elimination Chamber, guys!" Lawler says, noting how unlike anybody else - Langston and Ziggler will have each other's backs that night!
---------------------------------- A promo video airs for the upcoming pay-per-view "Elimination Chamber" on February 17th!
3. Non-Title Match: Bo Dallas def. Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett via count out after the match spills to the outside, Dallas tossing Barrett over the announce table and racing back in to the ring. Barrett, tangled up with the announcers, chairs and cords, fails to get back in the ring before the referee's ten count.
Barrett falls up against the ring with his hands over his head, unable to believe that he has just lost to Bo Dallas once again! The young rookie celebrates the win, Barrett getting back in to the ring only to be dropkicked right through the ropes and to the outside! The fans cheer Bo on as he encourages Wade to get back in the ring, the Intercontinental Champion deciding against it as he rips his title belt away from the timekeeper - storming around the ring and up the ramp furiously.
---------------------------------- We return and are met with the presence of Big Show, the WWE Universe booing him as soon as he makes his way through the curtains wearing dress clothes. After getting in to the ring, Show demands a microphone. "I've got a microphone in my hand, so that means you all sit down, shut up and listen to what I have to say!" He orders to the crowd, a big response of boos coming his way. "After what I did last week on Smackdown all I've heard from people is why did I do what I did to Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez? Why did I ruin the World Heavyweight Championship match in the main event on Friday? Why? All I've been asked is why but nobody asked Alberto why he screwed me out of the World Heavyweight Championship at the Royal Rumble!" He says that he was embarrassed by Del Rio by being duct tape to the ring ropes and he doesn't take light to being embarrassed. He says that he is a giant, a monster! One of the most dangerous forces in the history of the WWE and he wasn't just going to let it slide, so he gave Del Rio a taste of his own medicine.
Not before long, Alberto Del Rio's music hits and he makes his way out without Ricardo Rodriguez at his side after the assault at the hands of Show last Friday. "Show, I don't know what makes you think that I did what I did at Royal Rumble was to embarrass you... no, Show. What I did was in order to remain the World Heavyweight Champion! No, Show... No..." He wags his finger and says that it wasn't to do that but after what he did to him and Ricardo last week on Smackdown, he is going to make sure to embarrass Show this Friday night because they are going to be facing each other... in a Steel Cage Match!" The crowd approves of the announcement, but so does Big Show, whom leans over the ropes and tells Del Rio that he hopes he knows what he is going to get himself in to. "Because you're not just going to be embarrassed by me, Alberto... you're going to be knocked out cold... and beaten... and after I'm done with you... you won't even make it to Elimination Chamber." He drops the mike and his music hits, Del Rio giving a cold stare back at 'The World's Largest Athlete', as this feud comes to a head this Friday night on Smackdown!
---------------------------------- 4. Tamina Snuka def. Natalya (w/Diva's Champion Kaitlyn) in a physical match, the technical prowess of Natalya proving to not be enough against the power of Snuka. Perhaps gaining some revenge for Natalya's assistance to Kaitlyn last week, Tamina puts her down with a Samoan Drop and a superkick, following it up with the top rope splash for the pinfall.
Snuka gets back to her feet and has her arm raised up, pointing to Kaitlyn on the outside. She then motions for the Diva's Championship around her waist and Kaitlyn is quick to get on the apron, raising her title over her head. Tamina gives a sly smirk in response and exits the ring, Kaitlyn getting in to check on Natalya, whom sits up apologizing for not being able to get the win tonight.
We cut backstage to see Team Hell No getting prepared for Daniel's upcoming match against Seth Rollins, Kane asking his partner question after question to get a 'Yes!' response out of him. "Does Seth Rollins stand a chance against you tonight!? ARE THE SHIELD GOING TO STOP TEAM HELL NO!? AM I GOING REMAIN THE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS AT ELIMINATION CHAMBER!?" The last question catches Bryan off guard, whom stops himself in mid-'yes' to shake his head and say no, that he is the tag team champions! The duo continue to argue over it as they head down the halls.
----------------------------------
A promo video showcasing the ballroom dancer Fandango airs, highlighting him dancing and pronouncing his name in elaborate fashion. The promo concludes with a message stating that he will be 'going live' very soon. 5. Seth Rollins (w/Roman Reigns) def. WWE Tag Team Champion Daniel Bryan (w/WWE Tag Team Champion Kane) in a long match up lasting through a commercial break, Bryan hits a suicide dive on to both Rollins and Reigns. After tossing Rollins back in to the ring, Bryan has his leg grabbed by Reigns trying to follow. A big boot from Kane to Regins forces the release, but with Bryan still on all fours he is left in prime position for the Curb Stomp from Rollins, leading to the hook of the legs and the three count.
Rollins is quick to his feet as Kane comes in to the ring, Seth stomping away at 'The Big Red Monster'. After realizing it isn't doing much, Rollins hits off the ropes - coming right back to a clasp around his throat! Seth's eyes widen but he is saved as Reigns comes in and delivers a big time Spear to Kane! He arches all around the ring and looks to Rollins, whom takes Bryan back to his feet again in order to put him down with a Spear as well! The two members of The Shield shove each other as they are all fired up, looking to become the Tag Team Champions in two weeks!
----------------------------------
Coming back from the break, we have the 2013 Royal Rumble winner Chris Jericho make his way out, the crowd very happy to see him as he comes down to the ring with a microphone in his hand. After remaining silent for a few moments, 'Y2J' smiles and welcomes the crowd to 'Raw is Jericho'. He then moves on, saying he is supposed to come out here and give his announcement in regards to what championship he is going to challenge for at WrestleMania. "To be honest with you all, it hasn't been a very easy choice... I mean, after last week... a lot has gone through my head. After I sort of cost Alberto Del Rio the World Heavyweight Championship, Dolph Ziggler picked up the scraps and took it away... and, obviously, I have a big history with Dolph after what happened last Summer... but, at the same time, he might lose it come Elimination Chamber." He shrugs his shoulders and says then he has CM Punk! The man that he faced at WrestleMania last year. But, he could easily lose the title to another guy he has had his history with - The Rock. The crowd approves of the idea of Jericho versus Rock and it causes 'Y2J' to chuckle, saying it would be quite the interesting bout.
Before Jericho has the chance to say anything else, the World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler makes his way out for the second time tonight - both AJ Lee and Big E Langston behind him. "Wait a minute, Chris... wait a minute... did I just hear you right?" Ziggler asks, shaking his head as he stops himself halfway down the ramp. "You actually think I could lose the World Heavyweight Championship at Elimination Chamber? First of all, if you're still crying about me taking you out last year and sending your ass packing, then be a man and do something about it! Second of all, I'm not going anywhere as World Heavyweight Champion and I'll be more than glad to take you out once again... but, Chris, let me warn you... you'd be making a mistake taking your chances on facing me." Jericho looks around the arena and asks the crowd if they agree with Ziggler, boos coming back in response. He proceeds to step up to the ropes and tell Dolph that he thinks he needs to shut his mouth. "Because whether or not you lose at Elimination Chamber, I'll promise you one thing, Dolph... I'm coming for the World Heavyweight Championship. And if you manage to survive at Elimination Chamber and have to face me at WrestleMania 29 you will never! EVVVVERRRRRRRR be the same! AGAIN!" He drops the mike and the crowd pops, Ziggler adjusting his title over his shoulder as Jericho motions for it around his waist.
----------------------------------
6. The Prime Time Players def. Team Rhodes Scholars with Rhodes and Sandow's game planning working for the opening portions of the contest, only for O'Neil and Young to overcome it with good teamwork of their own. After O'Neil avoids a Disaster Kick from Rhodes and puts him away with a big boot, Young is tagged in. Sandow tries to charge in to the ring but is tossed over the top rope and to the floor by Titus, leaving Cody to get back up and fall to The Gut Check at the hands of Darren for the one, two, three.
The Prime Time Players begin their celebration as soon as the bell rings with the Atlanta fans, starting up the 'millions of dollars, millions of dollars' chant. Rhodes slowly rolls out of the ring to the feet of Sandow, whom pulls at his hair in frustration. "HOW DID WE LOSE TO THOSE HOOLIGANS!?" Sandow shouts at his partner, Rhodes trying to apologize as he gets to his feet. The two make their way up the ramp arguing back and forth as The Prime Time Players keep the crowd going.
---------------------------------- We return to see the footage of WWE Chairman, Mr. McMahon, confronting CM Punk and Paul Heyman last week before he was taken out by The Shield just as he was going to strip Punk of the WWE Championship. After the footage, we are told that Mr. McMahon is in good health after suffering a broken hip and undergoing surgery and says he will be back in two weeks - the night after Elimination Chamber - to address what happened with The Shield!
Backstage, Matt Striker is standing by with John Cena. The mixed reaction from the WWE Universe hits hard as Cena laughs it off, Striker asking how he is feeling after his match and attack at the hands of Mark Henry last week and the opportunity to get a piece of him tonight in the six man tag team match main event. "Last week, Matt, I was caught off guard! I was caught off guard by having to face Mark Henry and after we went to a double count out and both got in the Elimination Chamber... Mark wasn't done with me. Nah, Matt! He put me through that announce table because that... is what he does." Cena puts his hands on his hips and laughs, saying that he knows that Mark Henry is a destructive force and one of the most dangerous guys the WWE has ever seen, but what he did last week just fueled the fire of the guy that has been on top for a long time now and not only will he look to run through Mark Henry tonight in the main event, but at Elimination Chamber as well. Plus, he has four other guys to worry about - so he doesn't want any of them thinking he won't go through them as well. "So even though I got an eye on Mark Henry... Dean Ambrose, Antonio Cesaro, Sheamus, Ryback... I got my other eye on all of you and I'll be damned if I don't go to WrestleMania and become champion once again." He pats Matt on the arm and gives a salute to the camera before heading off, Striker thanking him for his time.
----------------------------------
7. John Cena, Ryback and Sheamus def. Mark Henry, United States Champion Antonio Cesaro and Dean Ambrose in a six man tag team match preview of the now-known WWE Championship number one contenders Elimination Chamber. Following an argument between Henry, Cesaro and Ambrose, the lone-Shield member decides to walk out on the match. Leaving 'The World's Strongest Man' and the United States Champion to fend for themselves, Cesaro is eventually taken out with a Brogue Kick. Henry, left on his own, is dropped with a Meat Hook Clothesline by Ryback and then applied in the STF by Cena, leading to the tap out.
Cena releases the hold and gets to his feet, having his arm raised as the winner. He is joined shortly after by Sheamus and Ryback, the trio all holding their arms up together. They split apart, Cena and Sheamus going to the corners to keep the crowd going. Ryback, however, stays back and takes a look up to the WrestleMania 29 sign. The Philips Arena takes notice of it and gets a bit noisy, Sheamus coming down from the ropes - turning right in to the Meat Hook Clothesline! Cena gets down and turns in disbelief, asking Ryback what he is doing! 'The Big Guy', however, doesn't show mercy on Cena either and lays him out with the Meat Hook Clothesline as well! He marches all around the ring and the crowd is loud for him, the 'Feed me more!' chants building as he pumps his arms up and down! Ryback stands tall tonight, having sent a big message to his fellow chamber participants as Monday Night Raw comes to an end!

February 8, 2013 from Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, FL
A clip from this past Monday on Raw is shown, highlighting Big Show calling out Alberto Del Rio for embarrassing him at the Royal Rumble in their Last Man Standing match, claiming that to be the reason for costing Del Rio the World Heavyweight Championship against Dolph Ziggler on Smackdown last week. Del Rio would arrive and, in response to Show, challenge him to settle their score in a a Steel Cage match tonight!
The Friday Night Smackdown opening video follows, Josh Mathews and John Bradshaw Layfield giving the introduction from commentary. The two discuss the main event to come tonight briefly, also mentioning that we have a ton of previews for the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view to come, including right now!
1. Non-Title Match: Sheamus def. United States Champion Antonio Cesaro in a hard hitting battle between two very tough men, previewing the WWE Championship opportunity Elimination Chamber Match. After reversing the Neutralizer with a back drop, Sheamus hits Cesaro with the Brogue Kick for the three count.
Back to his feet is 'The Celtic Warrior', pounding his chest and holding his arms out against the ropes in celebration, having perhaps gained some momentum at the expense of the current United States Champion.
In the backstage area, Alberto Del Rio is seen preparing for his Steel Cage match tonight when he is walked up to by Matt Striker, whom asks Del Rio about his decision to make this challenge to Big Show tonight. "My decision was a calculated one, Matt," Alberto replies. "Just like it was for Big Show to cost me the World Heavyweight Championship last Friday here on Smackdown. Tonight, just like I beat him twice in a Last Man Standing match, I'm going to beat him inside of that cage." Striker then leaves the room, allowing Del Rio to return to his preparation.
---------------------------------- A promo video airs for the upcoming pay-per-view "Elimination Chamber" on February 17th!
2. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins (w/Dean Ambrose) def. The Prime Time Players in what starts off slightly competitive, but eventually turns completely in favor of The Shield. After O'Neil is taken out by a Spear from Reigns, Young is left on his own where he ends up falling to a Curb Stomp from Rollins for the win.
Surrounding Young's downed body is 'The Hounds of Justice' as all three stand over him. O'Neil, however, runs in and tries to fight against the trio and stand up for Young but it only results in him being beaten down. The Shield eventually ends up putting him down with the triple powerbomb before kicking both of The Prime Time Players under the bottom rope. Reigns, Rollins and Ambrose then step to the center of the ring and put their fists together in signature fashion.
---------------------------------- A promo video showcasing the ballroom dancer Fandango airs, highlighting him dancing and pronouncing his name in elaborate fashion. The promo concludes with a message stating that he will be 'going live' very soon.
Seen in the General Manager's office is Booker T and his senior adviser Teddy Long when their door is opened, the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No entering and arguing with each other over who is going to 'ask them'. Booker waves his hands and tells them to just get to what they want. "The Shield had a match. We want a match." Kane simply states, Bryan nodding in agreement. Booker looks back and forth between the two of them, throwing his hands out to his side. "You're telling me that the two of you couldn't decide who was going to ask me for a match?" He rolls his eyes, Long interjecting and telling Booker he doesn't mean to overstep his bounds, but he thinks he knows the perfect solution. "How about tonight, Team Hell No has a tag team match, playa! With the 3 Man Band." Bryan gives a proud 'yes', saying he likes the sound of that. Kane then says that he likes it more, prompting the two to go back and forth about who likes it the most on their way out of the room.
Walking through the hallways elsewhere in the back is Randy Orton when Matt Striker approaches him, asking about his upcoming match with Big E Langston, questioning of Orton fears the unknown that comes with Langston. "I fear nothing, Matt." Orton replies. "I fear nothing and I certainly don't fear Big E Langston because he has had just one match around here. If anything, Big E should be afraid of me and the hundreds of matches that I have competed in over the years and just how dangerous I am... he'll find out tonight, just as he and four other superstars will find out when in just nine nights I enter the Elimination Chamber for the World Heavyweight Championship and I walk out... World Heavyweight Champion." He grins and then heads off for his upcoming match.
----------------------------------
3. Randy Orton def. Big E Langston (w/World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler and AJ Lee) via disqualification in a, perhaps surprisingly, very competitive match. Langston's power proves to be a difference maker but just as Orton begins to take control of the contest with a rope hung DDT, his set up for the RKO is stopped by AJ coming in to the ring and throwing punches in to Orton's back to cause the disqualification.
Orton slowly stands up and turns around, AJ backing away from him against the ropes. As 'The Viper' closes in toward her, however, Ziggler comes in from behind and drops him with the Zig Zag! The World Heavyweight Champion rises to boos from the Jacksonville crowd. He then looks over to Langston and gives him some instruction, pointing down at Orton. Langston then drags Orton back to his feet, lifting him over the shoulder and nailing the Big Ending right in the center of the ring! Ziggler, Langston and AJ then stand tall together, 'The Show Off' raising the World Heavyweight Championship belt high above his head.
----------------------------------
At ringside, Mathews and JBL discuss how while Elimination Chamber is a week from Sunday, we have a jam packed card set for Raw this upcoming Monday by General Manager Vickie Guerrero. We will have three singles matches previewing the WWE Championship number one contender's Elimination Chamber, as John Cena will take on Dean Ambrose, Sheamus will face Mark Henry and Ryback will battle Antonio Cesaro. Plus, a six man tag team match to preview the World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber when World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler teams with Big E Langston and Big Show to go up against Alberto Del Rio, Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton. Plus, Royal Rumble winner Chris Jericho will be in action. On top of all that, The Rock and CM Punk will come face-to-face just six days before their WWE Championship match! 4. Non-Title Match: WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No def. Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal (w/Drew McIntyre) with a totally dominant display, Slater and Mahal getting little to no offense in as Team Hell No just run right through them. After Slater is pressed over the top rope on to McIntyre by Kane, Slater falls to a Chokeslam with Bryan then applying the No! Lock, forcing Slater to tap out very quickly.
Bryan continues to pull back on the hold despite the match being over, the referee trying to force him off to no avail. Kane does so instead, Bryan huffing and puffing as he is on his feet. Kane even has a look of concern on his face as he tries to calm his partner down. After pacing around a bit, Bryan gives a nod to Kane, the referee cautiously handing them their WWE Tag Team Championship belts. Team Hell No then hold the titles up to cheers, the two then leaving the ring together and heading toward the back.
----------------------------------
The Diva's Champion Kaitlyn is seen in the back talking to Natalya, the two having a discussion when they are walked up to by Tamina Snuka. "Can we help you?" Kaitlyn asks, Tamina looking her up and down and saying she can help her by handing over the Diva's Championship. "But I know you won't do that. Because you're stubborn. Too stubborn to admit that if we got in to the ring again, I'd beat you and take it from you." Kaitlyn says that she clearly defeated Tamina last week, but she'd be more than happy to do it again. Natalya interjects, however, to suggest to Tamina that she could beat her in a rematch from their bout this past Monday. Kaitlyn then throws out that she has a solution, suggesting that Tamina and Natalya face each other again on Raw. "And whoever wins can get the next shot at my Diva's Championship." Snuka seems fine with that decision, telling Kaitlyn to get it approved and she'll be more than happy to beat Natalya again. She then walks away, Natalya warnin Kaitlyn that while they may be friends now, if they face for the title it will be a much different story.
Back at the announce table, Mathews and JBL say if that match gets approval, this Monday on Raw just got even bigger! Before they can further their discussion, their feed is interrupted by The Shield standing in a circle with a a hand held camera. "Everybody seems awfully upset with the three of us lately," Ambrose says with a snicker. "And I can't seem to grasp an understanding as to why! All we did is what we vowed to do and that is serve justice." Rollins adds that what happened to Mr. McMahon a week and a half ago was his own doing and that this past Monday on Raw, they took matters in to their own hands when it came to Team Hell No. "At Elimination Chamber, The Shield is making the biggest impact yet," Reigns adds on. "When Dean Ambrose earns his way to WrestleMania to compete for the WWE Championship... and when myself and Seth Rollins defeat Team Hell No and become your new WWE Tag Team Champions. Believe that... and believe in The Shield." The three put their fists together and drop the camera on the floor before walking away from it.
----------------------------------
Back from the commercial break, the Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett makes his way down to the ring with a scowl, demanding a microphone from ringside as he tells his opponent in Zack Ryder he's going to have to wait a minute because he has to address a problem. "This Bo Dallas," He says in a very angry tone. "This nobody has decided to try and ruin my career since the Royal Rumble. Apparently a Bullhammer Elbow after the fact wasn't enough to get him to back down. Instead, he got lucky the night after... he cost me my match with Randy Orton last week... and then tried to make a fool of me by getting me counted out this past Monday on Raw..." While the crowd cheers these things, Barrett says he will no longer stand for it and if Dallas dares to show his face again, there will be hell to pay.
5. Non-Title Match: Zack Ryder def. Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett despite Barrett controlling the majority of the match. Much to the chagrin of the Intercontinental Champion, Bo Dallas does indeed show his face again as he comes down to the bottom of the stage, watching on as Barrett holds Ryder on his shoulders. "This will be you!" Barrett warns, only for Ryder to suddenly hook a hold of his arms, pull him down to the mat with his shoulders down for the sudden one, two, three!
Ryder quickly slides out of the ring with his fists raised in the air and a look of shock on his face after having upset the Intercontinental Champion. Dallas can't help but have a laugh on the outside at Barrett's expense, whose head looks like it is going to explode! Barrett steps up against the ropes, steaming mad as he points and yells in Dallas' direction, whom innocently holds his hands up in response.
In the back with the main event looming is Big Show walking through the halls when Matt Striker approaches, excusing himself as he asks for Show's thoughts just before his match with Alberto Del Rio. "My thoughts? My thoughts are I'm going to enter that cage tonight... and destroy Alberto Del Rio... he thought he could contain me with a roll of duct tape and he thinks he can contain me inside of a cage but all that will do is give me that much more of an opportunity to break him like a piece of straw." Show then continues on his way as the main event is up next.
----------------------------------
6. Steel Cage Match: Alberto Del Rio (w/Ricardo Rodriguez) def. Big Show after a very hard fought battle with both men using the cage to their advantage and looking to do more damage than go for the victory. After slamming Del Rio back first in to the cage, Show nails a Chokeslam and decides to go for the win. As he has the door opened for him, however, Rodriguez slams it shut in to his face! Del Rio seizes the opportunity to crawl between Show's legs and make it out the door before him, winning the match via escape.
Del Rio stumbles in to the arms of Rodriguez, the two embracing and raising their arms up together with smiles from ear to ear, Show on a knee inside of the ring fuming! "Alberto Del Rio just beat Big Show for a third time!" Mathews points out, 'The World's Largest Athlete' with his hands gripping the cage wall in anger from inside of the ring as he watches Del Rio and Rodriguez celebrate together atop the stage to end the show.

February 11, 2013 from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN
The Monday Night Raw intro video airs, the cameras the entering the Bridgestone Arena from Nashville, Michael Cole, Jerry 'The King' Lawler and John Bradshaw Layfield giving the welcoming from commentary as we are just six nights away from the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view and we have a loaded show tonight! A face-to-face between CM Punk and The Rock before their WWE Championship match and a handful of preview matches ahead of the two Elimination Chamber matches.
The theme music of John Cena hits to kick off this week's show, the twelve-time World Champion hitting the ring all fired up as he requests a microphone from ringside. "This Sunday is going to be a game changing night, ladies and gentlemen. On that night, you have not one, but two Elimination Chamber matches... you've also got a blockbuster main event for the WWE Championship... in my case, the winner of my Elimination Chamber match will go on to WrestleMania to face either CM Punk or The Rock for that WWE Championship." He points up to the logo in the stands and says that will be an opportunity like no other. "I may be a former two time World Heavyweight Champion and a ten time WWE Champion but it doesn't change the fact that I am hungry to once again be able to say to each and every one of you, love me or hate me, that the champ... is here." He continues on by saying that regardless of how much he wants it, there are five other men he is going to have to go through that want it perhaps just as bad. "And that includes the man that I am facing tonight... Dean Ambrose." Cena says that he has been watching The Shield decimate everyone and everything in their path but when it comes to the Elimination Chamber, it's just Dean all by himself and he's very curious as to how that will turn out.
Before Cena has the opportunity to keep going, The Shield's music echos throughout the Bridgestone Arena as Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins arrive through the crowd. The trio eventually arrive to the ring and begin to circle around it meticulously. All three then emerge on the apron, Ambrose tapping a microphone on the ropes with a laugh. "Oh, John boy. You're worried too much about me on Sunday when you should be worrying about me right now... because there ain't no chamber around... and 'The Hounds of Justice' are ready to be unleashed..." He drops the microphone over his shoulder, Reigns and Rollins giving a nod before coming in to the ring with Ambrose - Cena trying to throw punches at all three men but to no avail! They beat Cena down relentlessly in the corner, the crowd coming alive as a big red pyro hits the stage as out from the back charges the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No! They enter the ring to even up the odds, aiding Cena in his effort to clear the ring of The Shield. After rattling the trio enough to get them to move back to the outside, the ear piercing shriek of Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero is heard yelling "Excuse me!" repeatedly. While the crowd boos her arrival, she talks loudly over them to say that after what we just witnessed, she has decided to make a change to one of the matches tonight. "Instead of John Cena versus Dean Ambrose, we are going to have a second six man tag team match tonight! In one corner it will be John Cena and Team Hell No and in the other... The Shield!" She then tacks on that this match up will be taking place right now! All six men seem to welcome the idea, Cena all fired up as he paces back and forth in front of Kane and Bryan as they are ready to go!
---------------------------------- 1. The Shield def. John Cena and WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No in an explosive battle, competitive back and forth for both sides. After Cena is nailed with a Spear on the outside by Reigns, Ambrose clips the back of Kane's leg during his Chokeslam attempt to Rollins. Bryan then charges in to Ambrose's modified STF, Kane left on all fours to fall to Rollins' Curb stomp, leading The Shield to victory.
Reigns rolls back in to the ring to stand at Rollins and Ambrose's side, the trio looking around the building proudly. They put their fists together in signature form, having pulled off a huge win ahead of their respective battles this Sunday at Elimination Chamber.
----------------------------------
Standing in the back after the break is Matt Striker, knocking on the locker room door of WWE Champion CM Punk. The door soon opens and out walks Paul Heyman, whom asks Striker what he's bothering Punk for. "I'm just looking to get a wo-" Heyman cuts Striker off, telling him he understands that he wants to get a word because that's all he is good for. However, if he wants words from Punk, he will have to wait until later. "If you want a word with me, I'll be more than glad." Striker takes a moment and then asks Heyman if he is confident that Punk will walk out of Elimination Chamber still the WWE Champion, prompting a laugh in response. "That's your question? That's what you want me to elaborate on? If I'm confident that my client and my best friend and 'The Best in the World' will walk out of Elimination Chamber still the reigning, defending, undisputed WWE Champion?" Heyman continues to chuckle, apologizing to Striker before explaining that for the past 449 days, nobody has been able to stop Punk and it isn't going to stop this Sunday. He then tells Striker to run along before returning to the locker room.
Elsewhere in the back, World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler is seen walking with AJ Lee and Big E Langston when the three are stopped by an approaching Chris Jericho. The crowd cheers from inside of the arena as Jericho has a huge smile, Ziggler questioning what he wants. "Did you come to remind me of your stupid decision to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania? Because you do know that I am going to walk in to and out of Elimination Chamber this Sunday still World Heavyweight Champion, don't you?" Jericho shrugs his shoulders, saying that is entirely possible but there are five other participants in that match. "Including you," He says while pointing toward Langston. "Big E Langston. Been around for a cup of coffee but a chance to become World Heavyweight Champion this quickly in to your career? Are you really going to enter that Elimination Chamber and help Dolph? What happens when you come down to the final two? Are you just going to lay down for him?" Jericho tells him it's just 'food for thought' and walks away, Ziggler telling Langston not to listen to him. Big E seems to have his eyes on the World Heavyweight Championship belt, however, prompting Ziggler to clutch it tight and once again warn Langston not to listen to Jericho's attempts to drive a wedge between them.
---------------------------------- A promo video for Fandango airs, the ballroom dancer once again saying his name in unique ways amidst his dancing. The package concludes saying that he will be 'premiering very, very soon'!
2. Non-Title Match: Ryback def. United States Champion Antonio Cesaro after a clash of two very strong men, Cesaro nearly able to knock Ryback off following a top rope uppercut. A Neutralizer reversed in to a spinebuster is followed up by the Meat Hook Clothesline and Shell Shocked to give Ryback the win.
Ryback leads the crowd in 'Feed me more!' chants once to his feet, as he hopes to have gained momentum en route to punching his ticket to a WWE Championship opportunity at WrestleMania via the Elimination Chamber match this Sunday.
---------------------------------- A promo video airs for the upcoming pay-per-view this Sunday, "Elimination Chamber" on February 17th!
The crowd comes alive upon the music of Chris Jericho hitting, the Royal Rumble winner making his way down and in to the ring. Microphone in hand, he welcomes everyone to 'Raw is Jericho', saying that the last couple weeks have been wild. "Winning the Royal Rumble, witnessing the World Heavyweight Championship change hands right in front of me, announcing that at WrestleMania I will challenge for that same World Heavyweight Championship... in all of this, I realized that I need to knock some more dust off these boots of mine." He says that is why he called up Vickie Guerrero and after he cleared his ears from her shrill voice, asked her if he could have himself a match tonight on Monday Night Raw. "The only question is, who will my opponent be? See, that's the interesting part because even I don't know! So, whoever wants to step in to the ring with me tonight, come on down and let's do this thing!" He lays his microphone down and backs up, awaiting a response.
After a few moments of waiting, out from the back comes Team Rhodes Scholars. Damien Sandow clears his throat as he gestures down to the ring, calling for silence from the booing audience. "What an intriguing and opportune invitation, Mr. Jericho. Challenging and even defeating a six-time World Champion such as yourself and, of course, this year's Royal Rumble winner, would be quite an accolade for any superstar to add to their resume. However, one must ponder what the reward would be?" He and Rhodes start to head down the ramp, Cody asking if Jericho is to lose this match tonight, is he going to forfeit his title shot at WrestleMania? Jericho laughs at the suggestion, Sandow raising his index finger and saying he thinks Rhodes makes a fine point. 'Y2J' picks his microphone back up and asks which one of the two of them is going to grow a pair and step in the ring. "I tell you what, if one of you can come in here and actually beat me, when I walk out of WrestleMania the new World Heavyweight Champion, you'll be the first one I give a shot to." Rhodes begins to step forward but Sandow puts his arm in to his chest, quickly proclaiming that he will accept Jericho's challenge. "As a matter of fact, Christopher, I was well on my way to decimating you before you made that proposal, but as you wish!" He then hands his microphone off to Rhodes and hops right in to the ring, leaving his partner looking very unimpressed.
---------------------------------- 3. Chris Jericho def. Damien Sandow (w/Cody Rhodes) in a competitive outing, Sandow trying to use Rhodes to his advantage but seeing some reluctance in his partner. After throwing Jericho in to the announce table and then back in to the ring, Sandow questions Rhodes for not helping him. Cody backs away apologizing, Damien then getting back in to the ring and immediately dropped by the Codebreaker for the one, two, three.
Jericho gets back to his feet and pumps his fist to the crowd, his arm raised as the winner. As he celebrates the victory, Rhodes looks on from the outside at Sandow, whom stares back to him on his side - questioning what he was doing! As Team Rhodes Scholars seems to be in a slump, Jericho continues to roll.
Backstage, Vickie Guerrero is in her office when Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett comes in. "Are you aware of the blatant disrespect this Bo Dallas has shown me?" He questions, the Managing Supervisor of Raw asking Barrett what he wants her to do about it, suggesting that maybe Barrett shouldn't allow Dallas to continue embarrassing him. Barrett scowls and tells Guerrero he wants another match with Dallas so he can send him back to NXT where he belongs! "You can have that match, Wade," Guerrero replies. "But you are going to have to defend your Intercontinental Championship." While he at first seems reluctant to agree to those terms, he tells Guerrero to make it happen and let him know when and where. He then marches out of the room.
----------------------------------
Following the break, Diva's Champion Kaitlyn makes her way down to ringside, joining in at the commentary table as she will be looking on for the upcoming #1 Contenders Match to find out who she'll face this Sunday at Elimination Chamber!
4. #1 Contenders Match: Tamina Snuka def. Natalya as in similar fashion to their match last week, it is a very physical battle with Natalya mixing in her technical ability. After a Sharpshooter attempt has Tamina pull Natalya over her head and in to the turnbuckles, Tamina levels her with a superkick. Snuka then heads to the top rope and nails a top rope splash for the pinfall.
While Tamina gets up as the winner, she takes one look at Kaitlyn before bringing Natalya back up in order to plant her with a Samoan Drop! Kaitlyn pulls off her headset and races in to the ring, charging at Tamina but being dropped with a clothesline. Snuka then picks up the Diva's Championship off of the mat and waits for Kaitlyn to get back up before laying her out with a shot to the face with the title belt! The Nashville fans boo as Snuka holds the belt above her head with a grin, then laying the belt over Kaitlyn's downed body before leaving the ring.
----------------------------------
Once again tonight in her office is Vickie Guerrero when the door swings open and Brad Maddox comes in excusing himself while Guerrero is already prepared to order him out. He quickly explains to Vickie that he has been away for a couple of weeks trying to re-evaluate his situation in regards to a earning a job in WWE. "Look, I've gotten rid of my personal camera man, I've admitted my past mistakes and now all I ask for is a chance. I'll do anything! I'll do anything to be a part of the WWE roster." Guerrero seems annoyed but thinks it over, asking Maddox if he'll truly do anything. He confirms that to be the case, Vickie then saying she might have a place for him. "You can start by running some errands for me. If you do a good enough job, I'll give you some more responsibility. But, you need to mind your own business and do exactly what I say, Brad! Do you understand?" He thanks her repeatedly, even getting on to his knees to praise her for the opportunity. Guerrero orders him to stand up and to go and get her a coffee, Maddox a bit hesitant. "Ri-ri-right now?" He asks, saying he had some plans tonight and he was hoping he could start tomorrow. Guerrero's eyes widen, Maddox telling her he'll get right on it. He then races out of the room, having at least secured himself some sort of role around here.
In the locker rooms, Randy Orton is seen preparing for his upcoming six man tag team match when up to him walks Alberto Del Rio. "Randy, we may be opponents this Sunday inside of the Elimination Chamber for the World Heavyweight Championship... but we are partners tonight. However, I have a bone to pick with both Big Show and Dolph Ziggler." Orton says that's funny because he also has a problem with Ziggler, as well as Big E Langston and, quite honestly, he's never cared for Big Show much either. "So before you start making suggestions like I know you are going to about letting you get your hands on them, I'm not stepping aside for anyone." As the two draw closer face-to-face, their partner Kofi Kingston walks in and tells them to back it up. "We'll have plenty of time to go at it with each other at Elimination Chamber. Until after our match tonight, we need to be on the same page by just going out there and getting the job done! Right?" Neither Orton or Del Rio give Kingston a response, instead both just walk away and leave Kingston not sure what's going to come of this.
----------------------------------
5. World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler, Big E Langston and Big Show (w/AJ Lee) def. Alberto Del Rio, Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton (w/Ricardo Rodriguez) in a lengthy six man battle that lasts through a break, Show taking his fair amount of attack from the opposing team until Langston tags himself in and cleans house. While Ziggler and Langston are much on the same page, Show seems to want to do things his own way. Their dysfunction seems to be outweighed by the others, however, as Orton and Del Rio can't seem to agree who gets their hands on Ziggler. Kingston tries to interject after tagging in, going for Trouble in Paradise on a charging Ziggler but having it be avoided for the Zig Zag. Before Orton and Del Rio can help break up a pin attempt, they are pulled down on the mat and to the outside by Langston and Show as Ziggler gets the win.
The match is over but the brawling doesn't stop, Ziggler going to the outside to aid Langston in his attack of Orton. While Del Rio and Show go at it, Ziggler and Langston decide to come over and try to help but Show shoves Ziggler down in the commotion. The World Heavyweight Champion stands back up and charges right toward Show, pointing up in his face and berating him! A grab of the throat in response, Show lifts Ziggler up but Langston charges with a shoulder to the knee. Orton comes back over to get involved in things, the five men gathered up together when Kingston comes flying off the top rope with a crossbody on to everyone! He stands back up and throws his hands in the air to the crowd, having some words for the men he will meet on Sunday as he backs away from the ring, as while he was defeated in the match up, he still stands tall in the end.
----------------------------------
Coming back from the break at the commentary, the three discuss how this Sunday is the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view but there is also Friday Night Smackdown, where General Manager Booker T has made some announcements regarding what will happen just two nights before Elimination Chamber. First, Chris Jericho will be in the building to host The Highlight Reel with his guests: All six participants of the World Heavyweight Championship match this Sunday! Also, Kane will go one-on-one with Roman Reigns!
Seen leaving Vickie Guerrero's office is Bo Dallas, pumping his fist as he says he is going to become the Intercontinental Champion this Friday on Smackdown. "Thank you Vickie, thank you Booker T. Man, what a ri-" He is cut off talking to himself as he is struck from behind by Wade Barrett! The Intercontinental Champion stands over Dallas' face-down body and points down at him. "You've got your shot at my championship on Smackdown, but it will be the last time you ever show your bloody face around here ever again!" He gives Dallas a kick to the side and continues on his way.
Matt Striker is standing by in another part of the backstage area as he introduces his guest at this time to be 'The Celtic Warrior' Sheamus, mentioning that he is moments away from facing an old foe of his in Mark Henry tonight only six days away from competing inside of the Elimination Chamber. "A lot of people would fear the idea of facing 'The World's Strongest Man', Matt. But not me. Not Sheamus. I fear no man and I certainly do not fear the idea of the Elimination Chamber." He says that he plans on taking it to Henry tonight and then giving everything to everyone this Sunday, because he has one goal in mind and that is to go to WrestleMania and compete for the WWE Championship whether it's against The Rock or CM Punk. "It doesn't matter... because come WrestleMania, it'll only be one Brogue Kick away from me once again being WWE Champion." He flashes a smile to Striker and heads off, his match with Henry coming up next.
---------------------------------- Michael Cole, on commentary after the break, brings up the attack of The Shield on WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon a couple of weeks ago and how rumors have been running over the last week that he would be back next week to address The Shield. While those rumors have yet to be confirmed, hope is being held out that the boss will be back to address the matter at hand here on Raw.
6. Sheamus def. Mark Henry in a stiff, hard hitting power battle. Despite Henry's size advantage, Sheamus manages to overcome it and after managing to escape the grasps of Henry for the World's Strongest Slam, he tips the big man up and over his shoulder with a chop to the knee. Sheamus then gets the crowd chanting for the Brogue Kick, which he follows up by nailing for the three count on 'The World's Strongest Man'.
'The Celtic Warrior' gets back to his feet and pounds his chest proudly, pointing up toward the WrestleMania sign in the stands as he looks in to the camera and shouts that this Sunday he will punch his ticket there! As his celebration continues, we look toward after the break as CM Punk and The Rock will be face-to-face!
----------------------------------
The theme music of CM Punk hits throughout the Bridgestone Arena as, alongside Paul Heyman, the WWE Champion makes his way out from the back to a loud, albeit mixed, response. The pair enter the ring together, Heyman giving the introduction of Punk to the crowd, throwing in that he will still be WWE Champion beyond Elimination Chamber this Sunday. "Before I get started, I just want to give my best wishes to Vince McMahon. I sincerely hope that he is back here next week and gives The Shield the comeuppance they deserve!" Punk then further denies any kind of relationship or deal with The Shield before moving forward to say that the stipulation added to his match with The Rock this Sunday is completely unnecessary, wherein if anybody interferes on his behalf at all, he will lose the WWE Championship. "Let's make one thing clear... I don't need any assistance to beat The Rock. He may still have the gift of gab but when it comes to standing inside of this ring, stepping between those ropes, nobody holds a candle to CM Punk and that includes Dwayne." He says that he has been told that tonight is a face-to-face with Rock but he has yet to receive word from anyone that they've even seen Rock today, pointing out that nobody has seen him since the Royal Rumble. "Yet, he has another opportunity at my WWE Championship? Give me a break! What a joke! This is exactly what I have been tal-"
The rant of Punk is cut off by The Rock's music, bringing the fans to their feet as 'The Great One' steps through the curtains and out to the stage. Taking some time to soak in the moment, he marches down and in to the ring and keeps looking around the building while both Punk and Heyman look unimpressed. Rock then pulls a microphone up and delivers his signature line: "Finally... The Rock has come back to Nashville!" He has a smile on his face as he points to Punk and explains that he'll get to him in a minute, but first he wants to talk to the people. He explains that some people here might know this, but back in 1987, he and his family packed up and moved to Nashville. He then tells a story about how he grew up, getting in trouble and telling a story about how he bought a car from a 'crackhead for $75', getting a good laugh from the crowd before Punk interrupts and says that's enough. "I mean, wow, first of all... you're getting a bit old aren't you, Rock? What even is the point of this stupid story, Rock? What's the point?" Rock says for once, Punk raises a good point. He then explains that the moral of the story is, he has dealt with a lot tougher circumstances in his life than facing 'cookie puss'. Rock then says all jokes aside, he has made it very clear he knows what he is dealing with when he faces Punk, but he needs to recognize that he is just six days away from losing the WWE Championship. "The Rock was this close to beating your ass at the Royal Rumble. Whether it was The Shield, whether it was Paul Heyman or whether it was Santa Claus or the Lockness Monster, it doesn't matter! It doesn't matter who cost The Rock at the Royal Rumble, nobody is costing The Rock at Elimination Chamber this Sunday... because this Sunday, the WWE Championship is coming back home to The Rock finally after all of these years and after these 400 and whatever the hell days of hell it has been for these people to have to listen to you bitch week after week after week!" Punk adjusts his title over his shoulder and steps forward a little bit, telling Rock that he continues to talk a big game, that's something he has always been great at but the fact of the matter is that he just doesn't have what it takes anymore. "Yeah, you beat John Cena at WrestleMania last year but guess what? I've beaten John Cena, too. A few times, actually. And since WrestleMania last year, I've been competing night after night and getting better and better while you've been off being overpaid for crappy movies... you think you're going to win this Sunday but go ahead and keep on dreaming, keep telling these people that you believe because there is nothing I love more than to see these people be let down... and trust me when I say they will be let down again at Elimination Chamber and my reign will live to see day 456." Rock nods and tells Punk to keep thinking ahead, because he's thinking about right now. He then hooks underneath Punk's arm and plants him with the Rock Bottom! The Nashville crowd pops as Rock scoops ups the WWE Championship belt, holding it over Punk's body while Heyman watches on from the corner almost in horror. Rock then tosses the belt at Heyman's feet and motions for it around his waist, then backing to the ropes and leaving the ring, a smile on his face as he heads toward the back to conclude the show.

February 15, 2013 from Verizon Arena in Little Rock, AR
The cameras enter inside of the Verizon Arena in Little Rock, Arkansas following the Friday Night Smackdown opening video, the stage hit by pyros as we are just forty-eight hours away from Elimination Chamber!
After Josh Mathews and John Bradshaw Layfield welcome everyone to Friday Night Smackdown as standing in the ring are the participants in this Sunday's World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber match: The champion, Dolph Ziggler, with AJ Lee at his side, as well as his heavy Big E Langston, Alberto Del Rio, Big Show, Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton, waiting on the set of The Highlight Reel. The host of the show and this year's Royal Rumble winner, Chris Jericho, then arrives from the back to an ovation from the Little Rock crowd. He struts down and in to the ring and looks at the superstars all around him, microphone in hand as he welcomes them to a very special edition of The Highlight Reel. "We're looking at the Royal Rumble winner - that would be yours truly, thank you - and six participants for this Sunday's Elimination Chamber... the winner going on to face me on the grandest stage of them all: WrestleMania." He prepares to continue on but Ziggler steps forward, telling Jericho that there is no need for suspense. "Ladies and gentlemen, at WrestleMania it will be me versus Chris for my World Heavyweight Championship and I will send him packing again." Orton steps forward and says he begs to differ, because it has been a couple of years since he last held that championship and he is sick of waiting to get it back. Kingston is quick to mention that he has never been World Heavyweight Champion and has not been given the opportunities that the rest of them have had time and time again, therefore he plans on capitalizing this Sunday. "I'm the biggest man in that match," Show interjects. "And I'll rip all of you in half on my way to becoming World Heavyweight Champion again just like I deserve!"
Del Rio then steps up, wagging his finger as he tells Show that he has failed time and time again, he needs to accept reality. "Kofi, you haven't had these opportunities because, truth be told, you haven't earned them. Randy, if anybody has had too many chances... it's you... and then there's the two of you..." He looks up and down at Langston and says that he is only there to make sure Ziggler remains champion, but when he is public enemy number one, they will both go down. He then looks to Jericho and says then, it will be fitting that they face each other at WrestleMania. "Because if it weren't for you, Chris, I'd still be standing here tonight as the World Heavyweight Champion... you attacking me on Raw the night after the Royal Rumble was the only reason Dolph cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase..." Jericho shrugs and asks Del Rio if he is looking for some sort of apology. "Because if that's what you want, you're not gonna get it. You wanted to step up in my face and threaten me and I dropped your ass in the middle of this ring with a Codebreaker. So, if you manage to become World Hevyweight Champion again this Sunday, it'll happen again at WrestleMania! Oh yeah, baby, it's true!" He grins, then suggesting to Del Rio that maybe they don't wait to find out and they do things tonight! Alberto seems receptive to the idea, telling Jericho he likes the sound of that. "And after I am done beating you, the rest of you will also fall to Alberto Del Rio at Elimination Chamber!" He drops his microphone and leaves the ring, as it appears this meeting has managed to set up our main event for later on!
----------------------------------
1. Sheamus and Ryback def. United States Champion Antonio Cesaro and Mark Henry in a preview tag match for Sunday, with Henry growing frustrated with Cesaro after forcefully tagging himself in. After a bit of arguing back and forth, Cesaro begins to give demands, thus Henry plants him with the World's Strongest Slam! Ryback follows it up with a Meat Hook Clothesline as Henry leaves, Sheamus then sizing Cesaro up before putting him down with the Brogue Kick for the pinfall.
While Sheamus and Ryback are celebrating the victory, Henry shakes his head and continues to the back. Then, to the surprise of Sheamus, Ryback pulls him in, hoists him off the mat and hits Shell Shocked in the middle of the ring! A laugh from Ryback as he gets to his feet, he shrugs his shoulders. "Every man for himself." He says to Sheamus with a chuckle, then leading the audience on with 'Feed me more!' chants afterward.
---------------------------------- A promo video for Fandango airs, the ballroom dancer once again saying his name in unique ways amidst his dancing. The package concludes saying that he will be 'premiering very, very soon'!
2. Tamina Snuka def. Layla in a fairly one sided contest, Layla gets very limited offense in before being laid out with a Samoan Drop, followed up by a top rope splash for the one, two, three.
Instead of celebrating the win, Snuka pulls her arm away from the referee and instead pulls Layla back up to hit her with a superkick! Snuka then stands over Layla's body and motions for the Diva's Championship around her waist, clearly sending a message to her opponent and champion this Sunday in Kaitlyn.
Transitioning to a handheld camera, we see The Shield standing together in the back. "This Sunday is going to be a crowning achievement for The Shield," Ambrose says. "While I'll find myself going to WrestleMania to compete for the WWE Championship, my boys here are going to become new WWE Tag Team Champions." Rollins says that after they achieve all of this success at Elimination Chamber, they're going to show up to Raw on Monday where Mr. McMahon will be allegedly waiting for them. "And while he's looking at his Tag Team Champions and future WWE Champion," Reigns adds with a chuckle. "There's nothing he's gonna be able to do about it... and if he tries... things will go even worse than the last time he stood in the ring with us." Rollins then speaks up again, saying that as for tonight, their 'big dog' in Reigns is going to take down Kane and give him a preview of what's to come in two days. "Believe that... and believe in The Shield." Reigns concludes, the three putting their fists together and laying the camera down as that match is coming up next.
----------------------------------
3. Roman Reigns (w/Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins) def. WWE Tag Team Champion Kane (w/WWE Tag Team Champion Daniel Bryan) in a competitive and long contest between two powerful superstars, Ambrose and Rollins' involvement after a Kane Chokeslam leading to Bryan getting in to the ring and diving through the ropes in to the both of them! With Kane watching on, he ends up turning right in to a Spear by Reigns, putting the big masked man down for the three count.
As Reigns gets back up, Bryan gets in to the ring and begins to tee of on him with kicks! After being shoved down, he charges back with a big dropkick that slams Reigns in to the corner. Rollins and Ambrose, however, come in and tackle Bryan from behind, pounding on the back and head. Kane tries to make the save but he falls to the numbers games as well, the beat down eventually concluding with The Shield planting Bryan with a triple powerbomb in the middle of the ring. With the WWE Tag Team Champions down, Reigns, Rollins and Ambrose place their fists together above their bodies.
---------------------------------- Standing in the ring following the break is Paul Heyman, the Little Rock crowd booing him loud before he even says a word. "Ladies and gentlemen... my name is Paul Heyman and I-" He pauses as the boos grow louder, prompting him to take a moment to insist the crowd get it all out. "My name is Paul Heyman and not only am I the advocate of the reigning, defending WWE Champion CM Punk but I am also the best friend of the reigning, defending WWE Champion CM Punk." He says that he is out here on behalf of Punk because he is back training and preparing for a match that he shouldn't even be a part of in the first place. "See, because of perception it is believed that The Shield were involved in CM Punk's match with The Rock at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. It is because of perception that the likes of Vickie Guerrero, Booker T, Mr. McMahon, anyone else with any ounce of power that they believe there should be a rematch this Sunday at Elimination Chamber. It is because of perception that if CM Punk is to have anyone get involved in his match this Sunday at Elimination Chamber the WWE Championship will just be handed over to The Rock!" He shakes his head and says that all of this is completely unnecessary simply because of perception. He says that perception is different from reality, however, and he is going to quickly explain reality before the WWE Championship match on Sunday. "Reality is, CM Punk has been WWE Champion for 453 days as of today. CM Punk will be WWE Champion for 455 days when he enters the ring this Sunday at Elimination Chamber and on Monday? CM Punk will be WWE Champion for 456 days because reality is, ladies and gentlemen, when CM Punk steps in to the ring with The Rock... The Rock stands no chance because CM Punk is the best in the world and that, ladies and gentlemen, is not just perception." He tosses the microphone over his shoulder and leaves the ring to continued boos from the audience.
Meanwhile, Matt Striker is standing by in the back with Bo Dallas, congratulating him on the opportunity he has at the Intercontinental Championship tonight, but also mentions that Barrett laid him out on Raw this past Monday to send a message. "Yeah, he did," Dallas replies with a shake of the head. "But all that did, Matt, was make me want to embarrass Wade Barrett one more time! I eliminated him from the Royal Rumble match, I beat him on Raw the next night, I cost him a match with Randy Orton, I eliminated him from a battle royal, beat him via count out and he got so distracted with my appearance last week, he cost himself a match!" Dallas shakes his head and says that it will be a dream come true to become Intercontinental Champion tonight and even better to be at the expense of Barrett. He gives a big smile and heads off for the upcoming match.
----------------------------------
A promo video airs for the upcoming pay-per-view "Elimination Chamber" this Sunday, February 17th!
4. Intercontinental Championship: Bo Dallas def. Wade Barrett© via disqualification as Barrett is caught off guard by Dallas yet again, a near fall off a roll up perhaps giving Barrett a scare as he rolls to the outside. Dallas follows after him but Barrett ends up striking him in the stomach with a steel chair for the DQ!
Barrett doesn't stop there, however, as he continues to unload on Dallas with chair shots to the back! The referee tries to intervene but Barrett pulls away from him and drops Dallas over the barricade with one last big shot to the spine. While the fans boo, Barrett demands a microphone and leans over at Dallas' body. "You thought you were going to walk in here and become Intercontinental Champion? Nonsense, boy. This is my championship and that is my ring! You don't belong on the same stage as Wade Barrett." He tosses the chair at Dallas and leaves the microphone behind as he walks away from the ring with his title belt held over his head proudly.
---------------------------------- After the break, Mathews and JBL highlight replays of what happened prior to the break between Dallas and Barett, saying that during the commercial Barrett had an encounter with General Manager Booker T. Cutting to that footage, Booker questions Barrett what his problem is. "You put a whooping on that kid because he's gotten the best of you week after week, huh? Well, he's gonna get another shot at that title on the Elimination Chamber Kickoff Show! And if you even think about trying to weasel you're way out of it, I'll do to you what will be done to CM Punk and I will take that title away from you and hand it right over to Bo Dallas. Now can you dig that, sucka?!" Booker smirks to Barrett and wishes him luck with that.
5. Team Rhodes Scholars def. The Prime Time Players in a rematch from Raw a week and a half ago, a determined Rhodes and Sandow working very efficiently. After getting in trouble from O'Neil' power, however, Team Rhodes Scholars resort to some underhanded tactics as Sandow rakes the eyes of Titus from the apron as he has Rhodes on his shoulders, the Cross Rhodes being delivered off of it. Young tries to come in to the ring but Sandow cuts him off as Rhodes makes the cover for the win.
Rhodes and Sandow roll out of the ring together with smiles on their faces, holding their arms out to each other as they embrace. Arms raised in unison, The Prime Time Players look on in frustration from the ring as Team Rhodes Scholars has stolen one from them and seem very proud of themselves for it.
Cutting to the back, Matt Striker is standing by and welcomes Chris Jericho as his guest, bringing up the challenge he made to Alberto Del Rio earlier on and asking what the strategy is behind that. "Well, Matt, it's quite simple, really. I need to stay fresh and I need to keep my eyes peeled and I don't ever... ever back down from an opportunity that would do something for me." He explains that getting in to the ring with Del Rio tonight could prove to be crucial, for if Del Rio wins the World Heavyweight Championship this Sunday, he will have already found out a little bit about him. "See, I've been in the ring with all of those other guys countless times. Del Rio? Not so much. So, it makes perfect sense, Matt. And I hope all the other competitors are watching because whoever it is that I go on to face at WrestleMania... I plan on taking the World Heavyweight Championship away from them, baby!" He pats Striker hard on the back with a laugh and heads off for the main event.
----------------------------------
6. Chris Jericho def. Alberto Del Rio (w/Ricardo Rodriguez) in a long and combative contest, lasting through a break with both men having some close calls on the other. After Del Rio escapes the Walls of Jericho, he applies the Cross Armbreaker but 'Y2J' is able to make it to the ropes. Soon after that, the World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler comes down with Big E Langston. Del Rio takes notice of them and points in their direction as he drags Jericho back up, going for another Cross Armbreaker only for Jericho to roll out of his grasp, get back up and nail the Codebreaker for the pinfall.
Jericho gets to his feet in celebration of the win, Ziggler and Langston stepping toward the ring while they look at the Royal Rumble winner. Before they have a chance to enter the ring, however, Randy Orton comes from behind and throws Ziggler in to the ring post! Langston gets some shots in on Orton in response, Kofi Kingston then rushing down and jumping in to battle. As Del Rio comes out to get involved in the battle, Big Show makes his way down the ramp and also gets in the mix of things. The six World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber participants go at it with each other, Jericho watching from in the ring with a smile on his face, seeming to welcome the chaos as Friday Night Smackdown goes off the air!

February 17, 2013 from New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, LA
A video package airs highlighting the dangers of the Elimination Chamber match over the years, showing the brutality of the contest and some of it's most memorable moments. There is a price to pay on the road to WrestleMania, that price being the chamber itself. Behind the official theme song for the event, "Another Way Out" by Hollywood Undead, the package then picks up to the rivalry between CM Punk and The Rock, with the added stipulation that if there is any outside interference on Punk's behalf, he will lose the WWE Championship.
The cameras then come inside of the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana, the stage brightened by pyrotechnics as the voice of Michael Cole comes in to welcome everyone to the show from commentary alongside Jerry 'The King' Lawler and John Bradshaw Layfield. Tonight, a brutal stop on the road to WrestleMania, with key match ups ahead of the biggest event of the year. The bell then rings as the chamber is already set around the ring, the voice of Justin Roberts announcing that the following contest is the Elimination Chamber match, with the winner receiving a WWE Championship match at WrestleMania 29!
Drawing the opening spots in the match are Cena and Sheamus, two former rivals as they circle the ring before coming to the center and locking up. Exchanges of power as both men take the other one down before staring down. They come back to the middle and after a couple of transitions, Sheamus dumps Cena through the ropes and on to the steel floor outside. Following after, he pushes Cena in to the chamber wall but has his neck taken and is tossed face first in to the steel. Cena then takes Sheamus and launches him in to the pod containing Henry, shrugging his shoulders to 'The World's Strongest Man' before following Sheamus back in to the ring only to eat a series of strikes to the stomach. After a shove in to the corner, Sheamus throws a series of shoulders to the gut. A big suplex follows for a cover and a two count, Sheamus staying on the attack with Cena mounting a comeback against him. After a spin out slam and the Five Knuckle Shuffle, Cena aims for the Attitude Adjustment. 'The Celtic Warrior', however, manages to grab on to the ropes and fight against it. Cena ends up dumping him over the ropes on his feet, Sheamus taking Cena by the neck and spinning him around, proceeding to club the chest ten times with Cena collapsing on all fours inside. As Sheamus throws his arms out in taunt to the crowd, the count down begins for the next entrant. After the lights flicker across the panels, it ends up stopping on that of the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro. Flying out of his panel, he catches Sheamus with a series of uppercuts that rattle him against the chamber wall. He then comes in to the ring and hits Cena with some uppercuts as well, then going back out to Sheamus for some more. Another return to Cena, Cesaro tosses him over the ropes with Sheamus, waiting for the two to rise to their feet before launching himself off the top rope with a crossbody on to both of them! All fired up, Cesaro brings Cena back in to the ring and covers him for a two count. Staying on it, he brings Cena in to the corner where he his whip is reversed in to the opposing corner, Cena with a back body drop but turning right in to a clothesline from Sheamus! Another cover on Cena for the two count, Sheamus stands back up and catches Cesaro charging at him, delivering the Irish Cruse back breaker for a near fall on the United States Champion. Sheamus stands back up and looks down at the two men, backing in to a corner and pounding is chest with the chants of 'Brogue!' coming from the crowd. He measures up with Cena as he starts to rise first but the twelve-time World Champion ducks away from it, lifts Sheamus on to his shoulders and nails the Attitude Adjustment over the ropes and on to the steel floor! Before Cena can make a move, Cesaro rolls him up from behind for a near fall, Cena then looking to trip him up and put him in the STF only for Cesaro to roll through it in to a small package for a two count. They both get up with Cesaro hitting a clothesline over the ropes, waiting for Cena to rise before leaping over them with a crossbody that puts all three men down on the steel exterior.
The count down begins once again, the spotlight bouncing between the pods before releasing Dean Ambrose! The Shield member enters the ring and mounts right on top of Cena with punches, then Cesaro before moving over to Sheamus and throwing him in to the chamber wall repeatedly. A few stomps to the chest and he returns back over to Cesaro and Cena, taking the latter in to the ring and beating him down in the corner. With boots, punches and chops, Ambrose then turns around to Cesaro trying to enter the ring and tackles him against the turnbuckles, continuing the assault in the other corner. Sheamus then comes in and clubs Ambrose from behind, slowing him down some. After a boot to the chest drops Ambrose to the outside, Sheamus drags him up against the ropes and begins the beats across the chest. After five, however, Cesaro comes up from behind and intervenes in it. Thus, Sheamus takes him by the neck, chucks him over the ropes and hits four more before Cena gets involved. Sheamus does the same to him and gives one big shot before following the three on the outside with kicks to everyone. Going back to targeting Ambrose, he tosses him back first in to one of the empty pods repeatedly before hurling him back over the ropes and in to the ring. Sizing up for another Brogue Kick, Ambrose ends up ducking beneath it and backsliding Sheamus for a near fall, getting back up and nailing a DDT that leaves both men laying down as the count down for the next entrant begins once again. After the flickering of the lights, in comes Mark Henry. 'The World's Strongest Man' looks like a man on a mission once out, running over Cena and Cesaro with clotheslines and then coming in to the ring to take down both Sheamus and Ambrose as well. After splashing in to both men in respective corners, he catches Cesaro flying off the ropes with the World's Strongest Slam! Before he can go for the cover, however, Cena runs in and hits him with a shoulder to the chest. Henry barely moves off of it, so Cena does it a second time. On the third attempt though, Henry scoops him right off the mat and nails the World's Strongest Slam on him as well. The cover is made but Cena shocks Henry by being able to kick out just in the nick of time! Henry stands back up and shakes his head down at Cena's body, bouncing off the ropes behind him and returning with a splash. Ambrose then runs at him and leaps in with strikes to the head, managing to knock Henry back in to the corner for a brief amount of time before being pushed back. Ambrose rolls right back to his feet and steps right in to a knee to the stomach followed by a World's Strongest Slam to him as well! Sheamus is next to take his crack at Henry, stepping to the middle of the ring and motioning the former rival of his toward him. Henry steps right over Ambrose and gets in Sheamus' face, starting a back and forth of punches. Sheamus seems to be gaining the upper hand and bounces off the ropes, coming back to a World's Strongest Slam! "That's what I do!" Henry yells as he stands back up, looking over to the last remaining pod as the count down begins, as released last in to the match is Ryback.
The New Orleans crowd cheers as Ryback steps out of his pod, entering the ring slowly as he comes face-to-face with Henry. After starting up a 'Feed me more!' chant with the crowd, he begins to trade blows with Henry, falling behind before coming back with a shoulder in to the stomach that pushes Henry in to the corner. After a series of shots to the face and stomach, he backs up and lets Henry come at him before trying to hoist him up, Henry staying down with elbows to the back of the head. Henry is then suddenly hit by an uppercut off the top rope from Cesaro. Ambrose then charges in with a chop block to the back of the knee, Sheamus then hitting a Brogue Kick in to a powerful Attitude Adjustment from Cena! Instead of going for the pin, however, he backs to the ropes along with the rest, letting Ryback work himself up in the corner. Henry staggers back up slowly, turning right in to the Meat Hook Clothesline! Ryback makes the cover and hooks the leg for the three count and first elimination. Mark Henry is eliminated. While there is a brief celebration, Cesaro breaks from it to charge at Ryback but walks right in to a knee to the stomach followed by Shell Shocked! The cover is made and the referee counts the one, two, three for the second elmination. Antonio Cesaro is eliminated. Ryback stands right back up and looks toward Cena and Sheamus, motioning for them to come toward him. However, 'The Big Guy' is shocked by another sudden elimination as Ambrose rolls him up from behind for the one, two, three! Ryback is eliminated. The field down to three, Ambrose slides in to the corner and on a knee as he watches a stunned Ryback get back up and try to come toward him only for the referee to step in between. Ryback places his hands on his hips in disbelief, visibly frustrated as he steps between the ropes and out of the chamber, leaving Cena, Sheamus and Ambrose looking around at one another as the final three in the match.
After circling around a little bit, Ambrose makes the first move as he dives right at Sheamus with punches in the corner, being yanked back by Cena but fending him off. Sheamus then runs at Ambrose for a Brogue, having it ducked and Cena taken down! Ambrose tries to roll Sheamus up in the same way he did Ryback but only gets a two count. Cena rolls under the bottom rope, leaving Ambrose and Sheamus to go at it with an exchange of strikes, Ambrose looking for his Headlock Driver only to be lifted up and dropped with White Noise. After a cover for a two count, he drags Ambrose back up by the hair in to the corner and drives a series of knees to the stomach. Backing up to the opposite side of the ring, he then charges for a running knee but Ambrose side-steps it - causing Sheamus to drive his knee in to the turnbuckles. Ambrose, like a shark in the water, goes on the attack with boots to the leg and then a takedown. Applying his modified STF, Ambrose yanks back on Sheamus but he refuses to give in. Cena finds his way back in to the ring and pulls Ambrose back, looking for the STF himself only to have Ambrose squirm his way free, kicking Cena back in to the corner. A running clothesline against the turnbuckles, Ambrose laughs as Cena collapses to a seated position, then turning to a hobbled Sheamus managing to pull off the Brogue Kick! Holding the bad leg as he lands on the mat, Sheamus scoots over and hooks both legs of Ambrose for the three count! Dean Ambrose is eliminated. The referee checks on Sheamus as he struggles to his feet via the ropes, turning back to Cena in the corner and yanking him back up. A whip off of the ropes, Cena comes back and ducks a strike, nailing a spin out slam in the center of the ring. The Five Knuckle Shuffle follows and Cena sets up for the Attitude Adjustment, Sheamus sliding off the shoulder and attempting the Brogue Kick but not able to get up enough, prompting Cena to sweep it out and apply the STF! Scrambling his hands and trying to break Cena's grasp, Sheamus is in deep trouble while attempting to find a way out. Cena continues to pull more and more, however, and with no rope breaks or a way out in sight, the pain proves to be too much for Sheamus to bare as he taps out for the final elimination! John Cena def. Sheamus, Dean Ambrose, Ryback, Antonio Cesaro and Mark Henry to earn a WWE Championship match at WrestleMania!
An expected mixed response from the WWE Universe as Cena pops on to his feet, falling in to the corner with almost a look of shock on his face as he is announced as the winner. "John Cena is going to WrestleMania!" Cole yells out. "With a date with CM Punk or The Rock awaiting him on the grandest stage of them all!" After some replays of the match, we come back live to Cena standing in the middle of the ring, a smile forming across his face as he points to the WrestleMania logo in the rafters, pyro hitting around it as he has punched his ticket!
A video airs for the new G.I. Joe: Retaliation movie starring WWE's own The Rock, in theaters March 28th.
Transitioning backstage, Josh Mathews is standing by with his guests at this time, the current WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No. Thanking them for their time, he mentions that in a unique circumstance, it will only be two of the three members of The Shield competing tonight against them, but the tag team titles are on the line. "Hey, let's make one thing clear... The Shield never travel as just two." Kane says, Bryan adding that is a fair point, but he believes they're going to suffer the same fate as Dean Ambrose did just a few minutes ago and lose! "You know, Bryan," Kane replies with a chuckle. "For once I think we can both say to that: Yes... yes... yes..." Bryan shakes his head and tells Kane, "no, no, no" instead, wagging his finger while explaining to his partner that he wasn't enthusiastic enough with it. "It's more like... yes! Yes! Yes! YES! YES!" He gets the crowd in the background joining in on it, Kane eventually as well with Mathews even being slightly involved. Team Hell No then head off for the upcoming match while Mathews continues pointing his fingers awkwardly in the air to the chant.
The bell sounds as starting things off are Bryan and Rollins as quick paced back and forth mat work begins the contest. A couple of waist holds from both men and Bryan takes Rollins down by the arm, looking for an early No! Lock, Rollins fighting out of it and getting back up with a big kick to the stomach. A snap suplex follows and a tag to Reigns is made, the big man coming in and pummeling Bryan with hard strikes to the mid-section. After a big uppercut, he turns to Kane and tells him not to even try and get involved. Bryan tries to charge forward but eats a big clothesline, Reigns grounding him on the mat with his power, taking Bryan by the waist and forcing him up in to the corner. A tag out to Rollins and he comes in to get some licks in, the two Shield members working well together continuing to tag in and out and keep the beat down on Bryan going in the corner. Kane gets the crowd motivated some as Rollins holds Bryan in a chinlock, Daniel fighting back to his feet and elbowing out of Rollins' grasp. After a couple of dropkicks, Reigns tries to come in to the ring but Bryan side-steps him and dropkicks him to the outside. A diving tag to Kane is then made and he runs in with a series of clotheslines to Rollins, lifting for an early Chokeslam but taking a knee to the face. Rollins then pulls him down with a tornado DDT and hooks the far leg for a two count. Rollins pulls himself back up and puts the boots to Kane, as he and Reigns once again take control of the match and cut the ring in half. After a clothesline over the ropes from Kane to Reigns, he follows the muscle of The Shield and pummels him with strikes on the outside until he is tripped in to the ring steps. Tossing Kane back in to the ring, Reigns follows and gets a near fall before mounting over with big, heavy strikes. Another tag out to Rollins and he flies in with a knee drop, continuing to wear down 'The Big Red Machine' effectively. "Rollins and Reigns just animalistic in this match up." Cole states. Taking Kane in to the corner, Rollins backs up to the opposing turnbuckle and runs full force only to be caught by the neck and launched over the ropes. Looking to make a tag to Bryan, Rollins holds on to the ropes and remains on the apron, charging at Bryan and pushing him down off the apron and in to the barricade! Kane tries to take him by the hair but Seth throws a knee in to the stomach, diving over the ropes for a sunset flip, yet having his hair grabbed with Kane dragging him in to the corner and unleashing with punches and uppercuts. After a big sidewalk slam to the middle of the ring leads to a two count, he looks back to his corner to Bryan pulling him back up as the crowd starts 'Yes!' chants. Bryan starts to lead it on and Kane crawls toward the corner, about to make the tag when Reigns drags him back by the leg and drops an elbow on the back of the head! The New Orleans crowd boos loud as the referee instructs Reigns back to his corner while Rollins gets back up and returns to beating Kane down.
Again working to keep Kane on the mat, Rollins and Reigns stay with the frequent tags. A powerbomb attempt from Reigns goes awry, however, as Kane manages to flip him up and over his shoulders and on to the mat. Rollins begins to slap the turnbuckle for a tag, Kane slowly making his way over to Bryan. Both sides then make a tag at the exact same time, the crowd erupting as Bryan comes flying in to the ring, ducking a clothesline and unleashing on Rollins with multiple kicks. Dropping his opponent to a knee, Bryan delivers one big boot to the back of the head, then turning to Reigns coming in at him only to catch him with a boot to the stomach and one to the face, Kane then coming in to help out and clothesline Roman over the top rope. Rollins charges at Bryan but gets dumped up and over the ropes, Bryan flying across the ring and returning with a suicide dive on to both men! Kane then heads to the outside with his hand raised up, grabbing Reigns by the throat once up and looking to put him through the announce table only for Rollins to make the save by chopping the leg from behind. Bryan comes right up and tees off on Rollins again though, tossing him off the barricade and ring apron before bringing him back in to the ring. The crowd behind him, Bryan charges in with a huge dropkick and then makes his way to the top rope, looking around the arena before hitting the diving headbutt! The cover is made and both legs are hooked but just as the referee is about to make the three count, Reigns pulls Bryan under the bottom rope! The audience boos as Reigns drives Bryan back first in to the ring apron repeatedly before feeding him back to Rollins, whom drags him up and delivers a buckle bomb in the corner. Rollins calls for the finish as he bounces off the ropes for a Curb Stomp but just as he is about to go for it Kane catches him by the neck and delivers a huge Chokeslam! Reigns comes in and catches Kane with a Superman Punch, then bouncing off the ropes for a Spear only for Bryan to trip him up and apply the No! Lock! Wrenching away at the hold, Reigns is not the legal man so it doesn't matter, so Bryan releases after a while but is caught with a flying knee from Rollins. He and Reigns then work away at Bryan until Kane comes in and delivers a big boot to Roman, a chin strike to Seth. Bryan makes his way to the top rope and hits both members of The Shield with a double dropkick, getting fired up as he then tees off on a kneeling Rollins with kicks to the chest. Dean Ambrose then comes hopping over the barricade and stands up on the apron, Kane running forward amidst the distraction and hitting him with a boot to the face. Reigns then comes charging in and plants Kane with a Spear, standing back up over him with a roar. Bryan comes up from behind and pushes Roman through the ropes and to the outside, Rollins pulling him back in to a roll up, which Bryan quickly transitions in to an inside cradle for the very sudden count of three!
Team Hell No def. The Shield to retain the WWE Tag Team Championship!
Reigns dives back in to the ring a second too late as Bryan rolls under the bottom rope quickly, his eyes widened as he is in a bit of shock himself. "Team Hell No did it! Team Hell No outlasted two thirds of The Shield!" Cole shouts. As Kane stumbles to Bryan's side, The Shield are left in anger and disbelief. While they watch on from the ropes knowing they were so close to winning the gold, Team Hell No raise the belts together as the audience lets out loud 'Yes!' chants in response to their victory. After a promo video for WWEShop.com, we come back to ringside where the commentary team discusses how we kicked things off on tonight's pre-show on WWE.com, YouTube and the WWE App with Wade Barrett defending his Intercontinental Championship against Bo Dallas. In the match, Dallas nearly knocked Barrett of multiple times but would ultimately end up being lifted face first in to the ring post in the corner with the Bullhammer Elbow following, Barrett thus retaining the championship.
Back inside of the arena, the Elimination Chamber structure is once again lowered and Lilian Garcia makes the announcement that this contest is for the World Heavyweight Championship. Making his way out first to the ring is Alberto Del Rio, accompanied by his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez. After he enters the chamber and takes a look around it, however, the crowd is surprised by jazz-influenced music as out to the stage comes Fandango and a young, dark-haired woman, the two having a dance atop the stage. Del Rio watches on from the ring and questions the referee inside what is going on. Fandango finishes his dance by placing a rose from his mouth in to his dance partner's, the two taking a bow to the crowd afterward and returning to the back to the confusion of everyone, especially 'The Mexican Aristocrat' in the ring as he then heads in to his pod.
Starting out as one and two after the theatrics of Fandango and the entrances for the rest of the participants are Kingston and Orton. An explosive start for Kingston as he comes out with leaping take downs and dropkicks, Orton putting a stop to it quickly with a kick to the lower leg. Methodically attacking Kingston and bringing him down to the mat, a few knees and stomps to the back followed by a stretch of the neck. Kofi works his way back to his feet and is promptly hit with another kick to the leg, then being tossed in to the corner. Orton approaches but eats a boot to the face, Kingston getting up to the second rope and leaping off with a crossbody for a two count. He jumps right back up and hits a series of punches before bouncing off the ropes, coming back to a scoop powerslam for a two count, Orton then dragging him right back up and launching him to the outside. Following, 'The Apex Predator' pushes Kingston in to the chamber wall but is then put down with a sweep to the back of the legs that slams the head of Orton on the hard floor. Kingston falls back against the pod containing Big Show, looking over his shoulder at the seven footer giving him a scowl. Kofi has some choice words for the giant and slaps the pod a few times with a laugh, knowing Show can't get to him. Returning his attention to Orton, Kingston steps forward but has his legs scooped up - Orton dropping him face first on to the steel floor! Rolling Kingston back under the bottom rope, Orton follows and makes a cover for a two count. Shortly thereafter, the count down begins for the third entrant in to the match, the spotlight flickering across all pods until it lands on that of the current World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler! At first seeming a bit hesitant, Ziggler gets some encouragement from his girlfriend AJ Lee on the outside, prompting him to rush in to the ring and tee off on Orton in the corner with punch after punch. Then, turning to Kingston, he unleashes on him with strikes in to the opposite set of turnbuckles. After a big superkick to Orton, he catches Kingston coming at him and ducks the Trouble in Paradise, dropping him with a neckbreaker. A bit more confident and fired up, Ziggler gets to his feet and poses to the booing crowd. Moving back over to Orton, he leaps to the second rope and begins to rain down with fists to the head. At a count of nine, he looks down at Langston in the pod below and gives a thumbs up. Orton responds in kind by slipping between Ziggler's legs and pushing him off face first in to the chamber wall on the outside! Orton follows after him and proceeds to take Ziggler by the hair, grinding his face in to the steel back and forth! He throws Dolph down and turns back around, Kingston flying over the ropes with a crossbody that brings him and Orton down, Kofi back up relatively quickly and getting fired up with the crowd. He then tosses Orton back in to the ring before looking to Ziggler, greeting him with a few shots against the pod that had previously contained him. After a shove from Dolph, Kofi runs right back and dropkicks him hard in to the closed door - causing 'The Show Off' to slam down face first in to the steel flooring afterward, Kingston then returning in to the ring.
As Kingston and Orton exchange some strikes in the ring, the count down for the next entrant starts up once again. The spotlight eventually lands down on Alberto Del Rio, whom runs right across from his panel to kick Ziggler in the stomach as he is on all fours. Getting right in to the ring afterward, Del Rio hits Kingston with a double knee backbreaker, getting back up to Orton attempting a sudden RKO but shoving him away and instead catching him with a sharp kick to the stomach and then one big one to the back of the head. A cover is made and the leg is hooked but it only results in a count of two. Staying on the attack, ADR stomps away at Orton and then focuses on Kingston, putting the boots to him in the corner. Going back out after Ziggler, Del Rio pushes him against the wall and chops at the chest before throwing the back of Dolph's head in to the pod he came out of once again. Waving his arms to the crowd, Del Rio starts to get back in the ring but Orton catches him by the neck - pulling him in quickly and nailing the signature rope hung DDT! Del Rio is rolled over and Orton makes the cover but it only leads to a near fall with Del Rio getting his shoulder up just in time. Staying on the offensive, Orton drops the knee on Del Rio repeatedly and throws a few stomps in the mix. Kingston looks to backslide Orton in the mist of it and it almost pulls off the shock pin, the RKO being suddenly attempted with Kofi pushing off and nailing Trouble in Paradise instead! Before he can go for the pin, however, Ziggler returns to the ring and throws Kofi full force between the turnbuckles and in to the ring post! He then turns to see Orton still down and makes the cover, a kick out just before the referee's hand hits the mat for three. "Dolph Ziggler may have just made a crucial mistake!" JBL points out. Ziggler tries to make up for it and heads over to Del Rio, covering him for a short two count. He then rolls Kingston back in to the ring and covers him for two as well. Frustrated, Ziggler slaps his hands in to the mat as the lights come down again and the spotlight bounces. Clearly hoping for the arrival of his back up in Langston, Ziggler is visibly upset when it lands on Big Show. 'The World's Largest Athlete' comes out from his pod and has his eyes right on Ziggler, the World Heavyweight Champion putting his hands up as he pleads with Show to not focus on him. Dolph throws himself between the ropes as Show is about to have him cornered, Del Rio coming up behind Show and clubbing his back. ADR chips away at his former rival with some kicks as well, bouncing off the ropes and returning to a huge big boot! Orton staggers to his feet and Show catches him with a Chokeslam, Ziggler trying to charge in but being caught and laid out with a Chokeslam as well! As Show raises his hand above his head to the booing crowd, he turns to Kingston on the top rope - Kofi flying off but landing in to the right hand knockout punch of Show! The cover is made and the leg is hooked as Show secures the first elimination of the match. Kofi Kingston is eliminated. Show stands back up and places a boot in to Kingston's chest, walking right over his body while jawing at the fans. Del Rio comes right back at Show but has his neck grabbed, being hauled up in the air and launched over the ropes and on to the steel floor.
Show continues his dominance as he meets Orton and Ziggler each with a headbutt, taking the prior and throwing him in to the corner before laying in a big chop to the chest. Ziggler tries to leap on Show's back with a sleeper hold but Show backs up and slams the champion in to the turnbuckles before hoisting him up off of the mat and over his shoulders before launching his whole boy in to Del Rio on the outside! Orton again tries to come at Show but he is thrown in to the corner again and laid in to with another palm to the chest! 'The Viper' falls to his knees in pain, Show laughing as he stands over him as the count down begins for the final entrant. Big E Langston is the last man in and he enters with his eyes locked on Show. "Langston may be the most inexperienced of these men, but that doesn't change his imposing presence and figure!" Cole comments. Langston slowly steps between the ropes and walks up chest-to-chest with Show, throwing the first punch after a stare down. Show responds with one of his own and the two go back and forth until Ziggler comes in from behind with a chop block to the back of the knee. Langston bounces off the ropes and returns with a clothesline that takes Show down, a big splash following for a two count. Ziggler and Langston back up in to the corner as Del Rio and Orton bring themselves back in on the opposing side. The four all look at Show and seem to draw up a game plan together, Del Rio coming forward with a superkick to Show on a knee, Ziggler with another followed by a DDT from Orton. Langston then steps forward and claps his hands together, stretching his arms out as Show staggers back to his feet. Using all of his power, Langston hoists Show off the mat just enough to hit the Big Ending! The cover is made and the interior leg is hooked for the three count! Big Show is eliminated. As soon as Langston gets back to his feet, Del Rio tries to roll him up but Ziggler is quick to break it up. Orton scoops the champion up by the neck and plants him with the signature backbreaker, Del Rio then pushing Orton in to the corner and catching him with a running enzuigiri, causing Orton to fall down between the ropes and to the outside. Del Rio then sets his sights on Langston, going for a low kick but having his foot caught with Langston launching him across the ring with a belly-to-belly suplex. A running splash in to the corner and Langston whips Del Rio across the ring, running at him but taking a boot to the face. Del Rio then throws himself off the top rope with a crossbody, getting back up and catching Ziggler with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. He then picks the arm of Dolph and applies the Cross Armbreaker!
The crowd cheers as Ziggler struggles in the hold, trying to break free and attempting to find a way out. As he appears close to submitting, however, Langston comes in with a splash on to Del Rio. Dragging ADR back up, Langston crushes him in the corner with a clothesline and then throws him in to Ziggler for a superkick, swinging Del Rio on to his shoulder afterward before stepping to the middle of the ring and hitting the Big Ending! Both legs are hooked and Del Rio is the third man gone from the match. Alberto Del Rio is eliminated. With Orton sitting against the wall on the outside, Ziggler and Langston set their sights on him happily. "It looks like Dolph and Big E's plan is coming together..." Lawler says. Ziggler gives some orders to Langston and he follows, going to the outside and dragging Orton back up, facing a series of punches in response. Langston replies back with a dive in to the stomach that pushes Orton in to the wall. A few times over and he then tosses Orton back between the ropes, Ziggler standing over 'The Viper' on his hands and knees, laughing as he holds his hands out to the building. Orton then jumps up suddenly and plants Ziggler with the RKO! The New Orleans Arena pops as Orton hooks the legs, about to get the three count when Langston takes him by the leg and forces him off! A couple of elbow drops and Langston forces Orton up in to the corner, again diving in to the mid-section over and over. An attempt at the Big Ending, however, is thwarted when Orton slides down the back and catches Langston on the turnaround with the RKO! 'The Viper' scurries over and hooks the far leg for the one, two, three! Big E Langston is eliminated. The crowd is loud as Orton pushes himself back up, barely able to get his grounding before being planted with the Zig Zag! Dolph then hooks both legs as quick as he can and gets the pinfall!Dolph Ziggler def. Randy Orton, Big E Langston, Alberto Del Rio, Big Show and Kofi Kingston to retain the World Heavyweight Championship! The cheers the audience had not too long ago turns to boos as Ziggler rolls back to the middle of the ring on his knees, his fists closed in to his chest with a smile as he has survived the Elimination Chamber! After replays from the finish are shown, we come back to Ziggler standing tall in the ring with the championship, holding it high over his head from the turnbuckles. The crowd begins to buzz, however, as once Ziggler steps down he turns right in to Chris Jericho charging at him and nailing the Codebreaker! 'Y2J' pumps his arm proudly and then reaches down to pick up the World Heavyweight Championship belt from off the mat. Holding it above his head, he points toward the WrestleMania sign with a grin. He places the belt back down and leaves the chamber happily, as the stage is now set for himself and Ziggler meeting once again on the grandest stage of them all!
The cameras then fade out to a shot of the outside of The New Orleans Arena. Back inside of the building, Josh Mathews is standing outside of a locker room, which he knocks on. Out walks The Rock to a big ovation from the fans, Mathews excusing himself and asking Rock for his thoughts before his WWE Championship match with CM Punk tonight. "You want The Rock's thoughts? The Rock thinks... no, The Rock knows that The Rock should be standing here as WWE Champion already. Yeah, The Rock knows. The people know, cookie puss and the walrus know and you know... that The Rock should be WWE Champion after what happened at WrestleMania." He says that is in the past though and he can't change that, but what he can do is come in to Elimination Chamber tonight, whoop Punk's 'candy ass' and walk out with that WWE Championship. "Because CM Punk, cookie puss, whatever you want to call him... there ain't help for you tonight because that means you lose the WWE Championship, it gets handed to The Rock. But The Rock doesn't want that... no, no, no... The Rock wants to beat you one, two, three in the middle of that ring fair and square, become WWE Champion and go on to the main event of WrestleMania!" He gives his signature 'if ya smell' line with the crowd in the background joining along, flashing a smile before returning to his locker room.
The contest starts off with the two women having some words in the middle of the ring before exchanging some strikes with each other. After ducking a punch, Kaitlyn hits a suplex and a roll up for a two count. A backslide leads to another near fall with Tamina getting back up and delivering a hard clothesline. After a couple of big slams and a chinlock, Kaitlyn gets back to her feet and again comes at Tamina with strikes to the face. Coming off of the ropes, however, Snuka catches her with a hip toss. Natalya, Kaitlyn's recent friend, watches on from the outside as Snuka stomps away at Kaitlyn and again puts her in a head hold. The match spills to the outside after Kaitlyn gets up and pushes Snuka between the ropes and out to the floor. The two have an exchange of strikes with Tamina suddenly turning to Natalya and planting her with a clothesline! Kaitlyn comes up from behind but Snuka again fends her off. The two work on to the apron with Tamina appearing to try and go for a powerbomb. Kaitlyn finds her way out of it but has a clothesline ducked, Tamina hooking the waist and slamming Kaitlyn back first in to the steel post. Throwing the Divas Champion back in to the ring, Snuka follows and nails a huge boot to the face. Seeming very confident, Tamina then steps back out to the apron and heads to the top rope. Taking her time to stand up straight, she goes for the Superfly Splash but Kaitlyn rolls out of the way! Both women stagger back up and Kaitlyn runs forward with a Spear, putting Snuka down for the count. Kaitlyn def. Tamina Snuka to retain the Divas Championship!
Natalya gets in to the ring from the outside, trying to come at Tamina but being stopped by Kaitlyn. The Divas Champion calms her friend down as the referee brings in the Divas Championship and presents it to Kaitlyn. She holds it above her head as the referee raises her arm, Natalya with a nod as she holds up Kaitlyn's other one. The two then leave the ring together, Kaitlyn with her arm around Natalya with a smile.
Following a promo video for WrestleMania 29 on April 7th, the cameras come backstage once again live in New Orleans, Josh Mathews standing by in the back once again, this time introducing John Cena to be his guest at this time. Thanking Cena for his time, he congratulates him on his win inside of the Elimination Chamber earlier as he is now going on to challenge for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. "Thanks, Josh... it's far from my first time going to the main event of WrestleMania but it will never get old, man. And whether it's a rematch with The Rock or another show down with CM Punk, I'm ready to go..." He trails off at the end as he is approached by the WWE Champion CM Punk and Paul Heyman. The prior chuckles and gives Cena props on winning earlier tonight. "You've been saying that you've had the worst year of your career and that 2013 was going to be yours. Well, you may have been thinking winning the Elimination Chamber was a step in the right direction but allow me to downplay your expectations." He goes on to tell Cena that there is no question of what the main event of WrestleMania is going to be: It's going to be John Cena versus CM Punk. "And, let's be honest, John, nobody has really had your number quite like I have, have they? Listen, maybe after I'm done taking care of Rock again in a match that I shouldn't even be having... and I'm done taking care of you at WrestleMania... maybe you and Rock can get together and reminisce in those times that CM Punk, 'The Best in the World' whipped your ass!" He chuckles and adjusts the belt over his shoulder, telling Cena he'd see him later but, of course, he "can't see him". Punk mocks the wave in front of his face and heads off, Heyman in tow with a grin as the main event is up next!
Transitioning to a video package, footage from the Royal Rumble last month is shown where the lights went out and The Rock was attacked, leading to CM Punk retaining his WWE Championship. With no official proof of The Shield's involvement, but speculation, Mr. McMahon would look to do what he vowed and strip Punk of the title only for The Shield to attack the Chairman. With Punk continuing to deny his involvement, he would end up being placed in a rematch for the WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber: The added stipulation being if anyone assists him in victory, he'll lose the title. Behind the official Elimination Chamber theme song, "Another Way Out" by Hollywood Undead, the package picks up to show the history of Rock and Punk entirely dating back to Raw 1000 last summer, all the way to this past week with Rock vowing to take the WWE Championship, Punk and Paul Heyman vowing to take the record reign of Punk to day 456, the night after Elimination Chamber.
After Punk spends time taunting Rock with belt prior to the start, the referee calls for the bell and the two men circle around the ring slowly. The two continue to exchange words as they move in and out toward each other, each avoiding taking the first shot from the other. A few missed kicks from Punk and the two lock up, Punk with the headlock with Rock pushing him off the ropes but Punk replying with a shoulder block. Taunting to the crowd as they go back and forth with chants for both men, another lock up leads to Rock responding with a shoulder block of his own coming off the ropes. Standing over Punk's body, he has some words for the WWE Champion. Letting him get back up, Rock has a couple of knock downs and it prompts Punk to hold on to the ropes when thrown off them and roll to the outside, regrouping with Paul Heyman on the outside. The two have a discussion as Rock jogs in place in the ring, waiting for Punk to come back in. The two get face to face, Punk mouthing off before throwing a slap to the face. Rock responds with an onslaught of punches in to the corner, leading to a count of four from the official. Rock keeps coming and it leads to Punk replying with a big kick to the back of the head. A cover and a hook of the leg for a short two count, Punk drags Rock back up and tosses him to the outside, looking for a crossbody over the top only for Rock to step out of the way and force Punk to land on the apron. Rock with a sweep of the legs, he brings Punk down and whips him in to the barricade. A drop across the announce table, Punk then trips Rock face first in to the steel steps once he draws near. Punk brings things back in to the ring and after a couple of strikes in the corner, he ducks a punch and brings Rock down with a neckbreaker. A cover and a two count, Punk goes to the holds on the mat, wrenching at the neck, shoulders and back of Rock. Keeping things on the mat, Rock fights to a knee and then to his feet, Punk grabbing the tights and bringing Rock back down. Continuing to control things, Punk stands back up and drops knees on the chest and then an elbow off the ropes, leading to another cover for a two count. Punk goes in to another chinlock, Rock struggling and fading a bit. With some motivation from the crowd, Rock slowly starts to get back up and starts to throw punches to the mid-section. Bouncing off of the ropes once free, a heel kick from Punk leads to another two count. Heyman gives encouragement to Punk from the outside and he drags Rock up to hit a suplex, a float in to the cover for yet another near fall. Back to the mat again, Punk is very confident as he continues to control the contest, shaking his head angrily as the crowd begins to break out in 'Rocky!' chants.
Rock yet again fights to his feet and punches his way free once more, a big right rattling Punk A whip to the corner leads to a kick to the face, Punk swinging out to the apron and hitting a springboard clothesline for two and a half. Continuing the mat work after that, Rock yet again has to fight his way back up and this time his break out leads to some momentum. Catching the boot in the corner this time, Rock gets his punches going and then eats a lifting knee to the face. Punk falls back and charges for another one but Rock catches him this time, tripping Punk on to his back and looking to apply the Sharpshooter! Punk scrambles in the attempt to lock on the hold, Rock getting it on but Punk having gotten closer to the ropes. The hold doesn't stay on for long as the champion does indeed get his arm around the bottom rope. Punk pulls himself out to the apron and Rock stands back up, having his fist caught and eating a kick to the head. Punk then hooks Rock for a suplex and lifts him in the air, Rock kicking his legs and pulling himself back down to the mat. He then lifts Punk up and over and hits him with a suplex of his own, getting back up and catching Punk in position for the Rock Bottom but eating elbows to the back of the head. A big sweeping kick to the back of the head, Punk then makes his way to the top rope and nails his signature elbow drop! Both legs are hooked but once again Rock manages to kick out! Getting more frustrated, Punk takes Rock to his feet and tosses him to the outside. Following, he clears the Spanish announce table and punches Rock repeatedly to lay him out on the desk. Punk makes his way back in to the ring and ascends to the top rope, measuring up with Rock and leaping off with the elbow right through the table! The building is loud as both men are down, Heyman running on to the scene to motivate Punk a bit. Taking his client and best friend by the arm, he drags Punk toward the ring but the referee interrupts his count to put a stop to the assistance. Heyman backs off, Punk rolling in and out of the ring to officially stop the count at eight, returning to Rock and pulling him back up. Returning things to the ring, Punk follows and goes for the cover but Rock shoots his arm up just before the referee is about to make the three count. Punk and Heyman both can't believe it, leading to the WWE Champion getting back up and once again going to the top rope, aiming for his third elbow drop but this time Punk rolls out of the way, Punk rolling across the ring and yelling out in pain.
Punk makes his way back to his feet and walks right in to a Samoan Drop from Rock, whom staggers back up and follows it with a DDT. Positioning himself, ready for the Rock Bottom, Punk walks in to Rock's grasp but slips free of it, instead bouncing off the ropes and coming in to a spinebuster! Taking a second to regroup, Rock calls for The People's Elbow and tosses his elbow pad to the crowd, bouncing off of the ropes but coming back to a boot raised to the head. Punk gets back up out on the apron, using the ropes to pull himself up. A springboard attempt but Rock catches him in mid-air for the Rock Bottom! The arm is draped over the chest for the cover but Punk kicks out at two! "Say what you will about CM Punk but he will not go down without a fight!" Cole shouts. Rock is in some disbelief himself as he uses the ropes to get back up, Punk stumbling back up and in to Rock's grasp by the arm, Punk responding with a whip that knocks the referee between the ropes. After a clothesline from Rock, Heyman gets on to the apron and has some words for 'The Brahma Bull'. A big right hand to the face knocks him off the apron, Rock then turning to Punk, being lifted off the mat and planted with the GTS! Both legs are hooked by Punk but the referee is down and out, 'The Best in the World' noticing it and rolling to the outside. He shakes the official and tosses him back in the ring, then going over to Heyman sitting against the barricade to check on him, getting assurance to finish things. Punk then slides in to the ring but walks right in to a staggering Rock lifting him off the mat with another spinebuster! This time, Rock goes for The People's Elbow and nails it!
