When is ringside fest? I was fully expecting Mega Powers and an announcement on Sting or some re-releases like Harley or Gorilla. Late October/Early November. Nothing announced for this year yet.

He’s obviously not signed still or they would’ve showed the figure and said don’t worry it’s coming eventually. Judging from Steve’s response to my question in the questions thread, I’m not convinced Harley is signed anymore either.

I think the XPac looks good but at the same time it also kinda looks like Aubrey Plaza with a beard.

I heard from a person on YouTube that heard from someone on Instagram that the reason Harley Race wasn't shown was because of Toys R Us.

I was hoping to see BP 67 today.
Does anyone know if Miz/Morrison will be current or FBs?
I'm thinking they're going to be a flashback set.

Honestly, as a casual collector, I saw a couple things I want so I’m happy as hell. The remaining four WWF champions are unlikely as is Dan Severn, so my hopes never get high for these things.

I can see maybe Pedro. He was a decent mid carder during the Golden Age so he should have some “oh yeah, I remember that guy” name recognition.

Wait. We're getting a Christian re-release and he doesn't even come with the Hit The Switch shirt?

I believe he was also the Intercontinental champion in the 80's too? The way they're sneaking in guys like Rocky Johnson, I could see it happening down the line. I'd buy for sure.

Pedro didn’t really want anything to do with wrestling after he retired tho. Did he even have a Jakks figure?

Judging from Steve’s response to my question in the questions thread, I’m not convinced Harley is signed anymore either. I said that in a other thread asking about secondary market prices. I’d say go ahead and get him because chances are, he’s not signed anymore otherwise we would have seen something or heard a mention of this after all of the people clamoring for a updated release.

This may sound stupid, because admittedly I know nothing about Co tracts and Legends deals and all of that But if FTC can go sign these guys to do a figure of them, then what’s so hard about WWE/Mattel (partners!) doing the same thing. FTC doesn’t own those guys in any way shape or form. Just a simple figure deal. I’m sure Jakks was the same way with their Classics I’m simply stating the employees working for WWE in house. It’s just mind blowing how these things must work or really not work WWE only wants Mattel making people they have signed and Mattel have no choice but to agree to that condition. I think saying "Mattel has no choice" is a bit of a stretch. Contracts are negotiated between two parties, and in this case they're both large, multi-billion dollar companies. WWE needs Mattel just as bad, if not worse, than Mattel needs WWE. Signing talent to direct deals would cost Mattel more money. It's probably that WWE requested that licensees working from their approved list. It's also entirely possible Mattel (by that I mean higher ups, not Steve or Bill) have zero interest in cutting into their own profit margins to sign talent when WWE is providing them with a large, free list to work from. If there was a time to change the agreement, they're (presumably) smack dab in the middle of a contract re-negotiation. But that doesn't mean either parts has any interest in making those changes.
