"Blood Money Era".
Ouch that burns.
Not saying it isn't true. But it burns. Might want to get some aloe for that.

I couldn't give two shiny sh*tes, what era we're in, or what it's called.. I'm just glad the product has become edgier. Violence, swearing - the more the better, iyam. Anyway, the show ends at eleven, a time when kids should be in bed already... Only an irresponsible parent would allow a young child to stay up that late.

I don't know, I have a friend on social media who fell in love with WWE during the Attitude Era. She's in her mid-twenties now. You do the math.

Pretty much everyone these days fell in love with WWE during the Attitude Era, myself included. But I also recognize now that 90% of the Attitude Era was hot garbage.

Some of my favorite childhood wrestling memories were those rare weeks watching the end of an episode of Monday Night Raw.

AE and the Monday Night Wars were the best times of any era. Ratings don't lie. Mega stars were created, boundaries were pushed and yes there was some hot garbage therein so sure, some ppl will hate on it but it still stands as the real golden age of wrestling. Never before and never again.

I don't understand why everything has to be called an era. It's to identify the generations of wrestling fans. The kids who grew up watching the PG era are now in college or just graduated. I feel old. ☹😭 This would explain why the world is going to hell, the young people grew up watching crap.

You had to be old enough at the time, to fully appreciate the Attitude Era. I was in college during the Attitude Era and I thought it was feces I was exposed to wrestling during the Attitude Era and I thought it was gross looking and was made for dumb people (I think I was 10?) I’ve tried going back and watching it several times, and it’s still gross and dumb. lol

You had to be old enough at the time, to fully appreciate the Attitude Era. This is hilarious, because you've said this to me before, when you told me I wasn't old enough at 13 to appreciate it, and that you didn't think a 13 year old would be all that concerned about the treatment of women during the attitude era. As an aside I guess I would have been 9-13 depending on when in the attitude era it was. If you liked the attitude era that's good for you, but just because others didn't like it doesn't mean we couldn't "appreciate it" or understand it. It just means we didn't care for it. I've tried revisiting it during my 20's, and revisiting it again now that I'm in my early 30's. The stuff I liked then I generally still like now, and the stuff I hated then, I pretty much still hate now. Slightly back to the original topic, I'm really digging the moniker of Blood Money Era. It's harsh but hilarious.

It sounds like a bad-ass faction waiting to come into reality. Or a super racist faction. Y'know, whichever tickles their fancy really.

What was so “new” about the new era? Its a stupid name somebody came up with when they were too lazy to come up with a better or more appropriate name for the period. Exactly, its such a weak name.
