I just want to see :
Brother Love Ultimate Warrior [ring gear ... something other than L8] “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase [LJN Remake] Hulk Hogan [Hulk Rules] “Macho Man” Randy Savage [Any Neon Cowboy attire] Greg Valentine [Rhythm & Blues]
I’ll gladly welcome any legends, but those would be great to see included in this line.

Just throwing out Captain Lou Albano. I love seeing what you guys would include but I'm surprised he hasn't been mentioned yet Unfortunately Steve said Albano isn’t available to them. Ahhh that's too bad

Martel, Lod, Val Venis I don’t see happening. Crush and Jarrett still not for a little while longer I think Any thoughts on why you don’t foresee LOD making it in? I’ve seen LOD in stores ONCE in my entire life, and it was when Jakks made Animal and Hawk in two different looks in a CS wave. Animal was LOD 2000 and Hawk was AWA I believe. Other than that, they fly off shelves and skyrocket in value almost instantly. It seems like they’d want to continue to capitalize on that, and I think it’s been a minute since we got LOD in the line.

Honestly, this line better be more than just repaints. Not that it's Mattel's fault but not having a lot of depth in the legends line will ultimately kill my interest as I usually only buy one of each character. Unless that person has had multiple iconic gimmicks, personally I'm not a big fan of buying the same figures over and over again with subtle paint changes. They need to start diving more into the mid-card of the attitude era and ruthless aggression era in my opinion and make guys like Hardcore Holly, Test, Steve Blackman, The Headbangers, and the list goes on. It is Mattel’s fault about depth. They choose not to pay for deals for people who don’t have Legends deals. WWE isn’t going to go out and sign these mid carders to Legends deals just so Mattel can make an action figure of them. We are 11 years in, quit cheap I f out. We need depth, not constant repaints Jeremy Padawer set the standard. He made it easy on WWE by seeking out these contracts himself, and the WWE simply approved or declined giving them a toy deal. Without someone with a vision who is willing to do that, we will never see certain guys in the Mattel line, especially the DEEP characters that Jakks managed to hit.

While these looks at every cool and iconic in their own right, what happens in series 11+ when EVERY iconic look has been hit, and Mattel refuses to go out on their own and try to sign guys like Jakks did? Jakks product was bad in quality compared to Mattel, however, the depth of the CS line has really spoiled Legends collectors.

Animal was involved in the concussion lawsuit, and has had heat with WWE for years. If the AEW line ever incorporates legends, I wouldn't be surprised to see them show up there. But there's definitely bad blood with WWE.

I'm fairly sure there are more than 12 more iconic attires, unique gimmicks and the odd new face to support the line for the forseeable future. Besides most collectors I'm sure would relish in new figures of guys like Akeem, Martel, the Von Erichs who's older figures are next to impossible to track down for an acceptable price nowadays.

Collectors would love them, but pretty sure none of those guys are under contract currently. There are more than enough attires of the talent available to make for a strong line. But Mattel is definitely working with a limited roster once you get past the top of card guys. But there are enough desired attires for HBK, Warrior, Bret, Macho etc to keep this line going for years. But I do think it's a safe bet that the majority of Legends will continue to be repaints moving forward.

I kind of wish mattel would've used the old legend's packaging. Don't fix what isn't broken. As for potential figures, I'd like to see the following:
Bruiser Brody Ric Flair: legendary NWA suit promo Updated Bruno Sammartino Hulk Hogan "Hulk Still Rules" 2002 Shawn Michaels: WrestleMania XIX Kurt Angle: WrestleMania 21 Paul Heyman: ECW One Night Stand 2005 Eric Bischoff: WCW NWO 1997/1998 Mr. Perfect: Royal Rumble 2002 return (essentially a remake) Christian: Extreme Rules 2011: WHC and Ladder Stunning Steve Austin Undertaker: WrestleMania XIV Terry Funk: ECW One Night Stand 2006: Bandage on eye Ultimate Warrior: WrestleMania 12 Jesse Ventura 3 Faces of Foley RSC 3-Pack with special packaging for all three gimmicks present

It’s a matter of merchandising rights and wwe has to make a deal to acquire those rights again and I don’t think they intend to extend the olive branch
