More things that don't make sense (This week's Dynamite)

So on this week's Dynamite, Omega and Page are defending their titles against Kip Sabian and Jimmy Havock. Where was I when they became #1 contenders. If I remember correctly, the Best Friends won a #1 contender's match at the PPV and Sabian/Havock has lost a ton of matches as a tag team. I guess wins and loses really matter...

Also, didn't Cody say that his title will be "open" to all. Usually in "open" challenges, you should not necessarily need to qualify. So for one, that gets rid of wins and loses mattering, but two, why did Jungle Boy need to qualify? Couldn;t he just step up to the plate since it is an open challenge. What is happening?!

Somewhere that wasn't showing last week's Dynamite apparently.

Nah but Best Friends get their title shot at Fyter Fest. Semantic issue but they did bring it up on the show last week.

As for the open challenge bit, the battle royal for a title shot was announced before Cody ever won so it stands to reason that would still happen regardless if he's willing to defend it weekly.
