I am guessing it was two waves shown at Toy Fair because Orndorff wasn’t listed either. Orndorff is legends 8

Picked up henan and valentine. They charged my card right away. Hopefully that's a good sign.
Might get another Greg the hammer.

That was as easy as expected. No Sting is...strange. He was the one I was least interested in. But it's very odd.
Target ships online orders from their warehouses. So unless Mattel is sending them solid packed cases of these three, there would be a huge surplus of Sting just sitting in their warehouses. Hopefully AFA can shed some light on it.

It’s just a hold and if the hold runs out before the order comes in they will do it again and if the hold is denied at any time they’ll cancel the order. From their website... “When will I be charged for a preorder? When you place a preorder, Target will send an authorization hold request to your card issuer. The authorization hold is not an actual charge and will eventually expire and drop off the account based upon the time frame set by your card-issuing bank. If the authorization hold expires before the item’s release date or before the order is ready to be shipped, the authorization will automatically renew. If any attempt to renew the authorization fails, the order will automatically be canceled. You won’t be charged for your order until it ships.“

im guessing stings deal ran out , .unless he was pushed back for an odd reason. lets hope its the latter. I do think Sting's deal should be up soon. He made his on-screen debut in November 2014, but signed a merch deal some months earlier. Legends deals are usually 6 years, so we'd be right about at the point where it should be up for renewal. But this figure is well into production, and we had seen final protos within the last few weeks. Usually if a figure is that far along in production, it'll still be released even if something comes up as long as it isn't a PR nightmare (ie Hogan and Enzo). Just seems like a very odd situation. Hopefully Steve can shed a little light on the status.

Wrestling Figure News Source says Stings been removed from the line up and not available to Mattel. Might as well assume Jake Roberts is cancelled too unless he has a legends deal with a loophole that's allowing him to work AEW too.

AFA confirmed Stings been removed from this series on Instagram and will be released if he becomes available again. So one would guess his deal has ended. On a side note i personally think Jake from series 8 will get axed too.

I wonder if WWE is low-balling Legends when re-negotiating merch deals. Or if there could be a better offer on the table from a competitor. Because usually re-upping these deals would be a piece of cake.

I really really hope that Jake isn’t canceled. Really sucks that Sting isn’t available to Mattel! That figure was great! I wish we got more blonde Stings. I felt like that huge era of his career wasn’t done justice.

Wonder why AFA couldn’t say anything in his thread like an FYI.

Considering WWE just axed 40% of their employees this wouldn't be too surprising, or they're not attempting to resign legend deal at all right now.

Ugh not totally their fault, but never a good sign when the return of the series has figure issues from the start.

Action Figure Attack can you please clarify on Sting's figure? Since he wasn't available for pre-order immediately people are assuming he's cancelled and his deal expired even though you've recently shown this Legends figure and mentioned its coming out and no one ever said anything else otherwise. Can you please calm the masses? Thanks
From April 4th.
There’s a Sting currently coming. Let this one see release first before expecting the announcement of another. Gotta give talent a little space between releases. alot changes in a month
