It's only 3:30 in Cali. Still lots of time left in the day. It doesn't excuse how poorly this was handled.

I can't decide who is funnier at this point, those complaining or Mattel's white knights.

I can't decide who is funnier at this point, those complaining or Mattel's white knights. The complainers cause they weren't smart enough to learn from the other Target exclusives fiascos.

It was advertised for May 10th. It’s still May 10th. Wanna try a third time, or...? Yeah, May 10 is very vague. What time should be checking in on May 10? Where should we check in? The Target search engine is garbage. This is all very sketchy and poorly thought out. They didn’t mention a time frame at all. So where are these “empty promises” you speak of? Just something else to complain about because it’s not going exactly how you want it to.

I was not aware of those fiascos. 2. Action Figure Attack publicly campaigned and requested for us to support this effort and said it was happening: forum.wrestlingfigs.com/post/8867742/thread

It’s still May 10th. AFA never said it would be 12-2. He said that was his guess. ... try again. AFA asked us to support this effort because if we do he can convince the powers that be it can be done more. This was not handled well at all. There was never an expectation that people would be sitting at their computers hitting refresh for the nanosecond the items go live. These aren't SDCC exclusives. There has never been any indication that we should expect limited quantities - the DoD figures would indicate quite the opposite. Any disappointment or anger on collectors is just that - on the collector. After a couple of years of collectors complaining that store exclusives should be easily available and sold online, we're getting exactly what was asked for. And people STILL find something to complain about.

Not giving us one is nonsense. The only vague one we got was the one mentioned by AFA as a guess. That's not all that helpful.

The Target search engine is garbage. This is all very sketchy and poorly thought out. Why do you need a specific time? When it goes up, make an order. They’re not going to go away in 5 minutes. If they had said 12 PM and it didn’t go up right away we’d have the same complaints. Maybe worse.

And people STILL find something to complain about. This is a flimsy defense at best. No, they aren't SDCC exclusives, but they are store exclusives. I don't know what type of quantities there will be at all. Look at the Mattel Flashback Wave 3 which was poorly distributed and in limited quantities. The fact is we've been given no indication on the quantities of these at all.

I can't decide who is funnier at this point, those complaining or Mattel's white knights. Should probably say Target white knights because they’re the ones handling the pre-order.

AFA said they had to convince Target to do this for us, even if it doesn’t go up today, who honestly cares? This was a win for us as fans anyway. They will go up and you will get your figures if you don’t completely sleep on it by a few days if not weeks.

Alright. Let's just end the bickering and blaming. We need this thread. Let's not get it locked.
