If I could go back in time I would’ve put New Jack in David Schultz spot then tell Stossel to ask Jack the same thing. You guys act like defending kayfabe was some noble cause. There’s a video from the first televised Oscars in the 50s of whoever hosted it making fun of wrestling being fake Oh course it would be a noble cause if you're apart of the business.

Seriously. The second hand market is ridiculous now 100 percent...Around 2015-16 it was mainly Hasbro's and some LJN's that prices were jumping on...Now the prices are skyrocketing on almost everything Crazy right around the time I was gonna try to begin a Jakks collection

It wasn’t really a scoop. Wrestling was exposed in the 1920s not long after the final shoot matches stopped. Sure kayfabe was guarded til Vince went to that commission and told them “hey this crap is fake stop taking money from me” and they still got heat but it was an open secret that it’s not real.

Yeah I can't believe some of the prices on figures all brands Hasbro, Mattel. Its just wild. I feel bad for people who are just starting to collect. I was just talking to a friend about Monsoon elite how we never once seen it in stores and its selling on average at $90+ dollars. Collecting these days is no joke.

If they’re not up by 12pmEST I’m done collecting. I just can’t do this anymore. I’ve lost a lot of money, friends, relationships, and now my family is upset that I won’t come over for brunch right now. I’ve given up too much for figs and all they do in return is disappoint me. High noon and than that’s it for me fellas. seriously their action figures having friends relationships and being with your family is so much more important.

Mattel: "Hi Mr. Target! What are the pre order numbers looking like?"
Target: "Zero LOL"
Mattel: "See they don't want Legends!"

I bought a loose legends British Bulldogs a couple years ago for $30. I customized it and was thinking of buying another to add to the Hart Foundation. Pffft. You can’t find a complete loose one for under $60/70 now. Paid $40 for Neidhart ... I guess I can live with that but ehhhh, it definitely has become more expensive over the past few years to buy these on the secondary market.

I can totally identify.... totally not worth all the time it's taking to get some of these things. And I think I'm at the point where I'll just pay the outrageous scalper prices for the figures I REALLY want..... And just not buy - not get - the figures I "kinda" want but can't seem to get easily. Cuz that's the way it's been for a while - and I don't see things getting ANY easier following COVID-19..... I feel like we're not going to see new figs in stores for like a year (or more).

When I started collecting last year, I was lucky to have a nice amount of money to splurge on rarities, ASR, RSR, etc (only thing I couldn’t get was the modern and classic Steel Cage accessories for the ASR). The cost to entry today is crazy. If I started today with the $ I had last year, I wouldn’t have a fraction of the collection I have right now

Called this a few days ago. AFA tells us to support this. What he didn’t say was plan on waiting!! Why can’t they say they’ll be up at this time. If target wants us to support it helps us out by letting us know when they’ll go up. It’s a 2 way street for this. If you want us to support it, support us by letting us know when. I’m almost done collecting honestly. I have everything flashback from series 12 up. Part of me wants to keep going because I’ve come so far the other half says to hell with it because of bs like this.

This wait isn't too surprising considering how poor they've handle past preorders and Neca TMNT on their website.

I want em as bad as the next guy but pointing fingers is just lame. AFA literally said he doesn’t know the exact time they would go up so obviously it’s not something that was mentioned/agreed upon. Just be happy that they’ll be available online and not just strictly only in-store during this crazy pandemic.

If you are JUST starting Hasbro Marvel Legends, Mattel WWE (especially the legends/Flashback themed figures/ or Star Wars Black Series. It’s REALLY tough. You almost have to have been in Mattel since they started in 2010 and Hasbro Marvel Legenrs for the MOST PART since 2012. Otherwise, you are paying a buttload of money for essential characters or attires until they re-release.

Hopefully this doesn't turn out like the situation last week between Hasbro and Amazon over exclusive black series figures. Preorders didn't go up like they were supposed to.
