Back when we waited in line for tickets, to get into concerts, games,Wrestling, game systems, and shoes that was always what I loved, line comraderie and joking with random and regulars and friends in the line. Wow we used to stand in line for WWE tickets to go on sale..... and it was ALWAYS fun...… those were the days, sort of..... won't lie - I also like grabbing them online. Some of the most fun I have ever had collecting was waiting for stores to open when amiibos first came out |

Kinda apples and oranges. Funko runs their own shop and can schedule their own releases through that, but when they work with other shops for exclusives (amazon, target, hot topic, shop disney, etc.) its up to the store selling and times are generally iffy. at least that's been my experience buying a multitude of Funko exclusives since 2011. Not only that, Funko has dropped the ball as well and middle of the night dropped some exclusives that were scheduled for the following morning (my personal experience is with The Flintstones figures). Definitely apples and oranges. Funko has a fanatic fanbase and is waaaay worse about scalping than the WWE line. And Funko also loves creating artificial scarcity with their releases. I think this will be much closer to the DoD pre-order. It's been almost 2 months and only Mark Henry is sold out. This is a pre-order - completely different from when store exclusive figures hit their store and they're only listing the couple of cases that are in their warehouse at that time. I'm as excited as anybody for these figures. But I don't see cause to panic about this or camp out all night waiting for a webpage to go live. Apples and oranges are both fruits. |

Yeah I just edited the post, I was looking at E76 prior, and got Christian and Hammer confused. As far as a variant figure, like E71, when they came up on Walmart.com, I ended up ordering 3, hoping for 1 of each, then gonna return the 3rd. But I got all the same color: Pink. SO I was happy because that was the variant I wanted. I passed along for a group of low brow elites, while the other I used for trade to a buddy who will remain anonymous. |
