To be fair though wasn't that pretty much the same finish we saw in the tag title ladder match at Wrestlemania - Belt or in this case briefcase drops into someone hands.

Correct if I'm wrong but I dont recall the rules ever being to retrieve the briefcase and make it to the floor That’s what I’m thinking...if it’s whoever has possession of the briefcase than why didn’t somebody just beat up Otis and take it |

With that said even with the show being under crapand the MITB matches being down right awful and a joke they made the right move giving Otis the MITB contract.When the crowds return he is and was made over with them and has a unique it factor that people are getting behind,with his current character ya should be anywhere near a world title but now they have up to a year to build up his character and change it a bit to fit better in the world title picture.Hopefully they don't screw it up as Otis is one of the younger guys at 28 that has a chance to turn into something long term.Think if booked right Strowman/Otis,Wyatt/Otis or even a heel turned and bully version of Reigns/Otis all could work and be interesting down the road.

I don't hate the result, it'll be interesting to see Otis with it.
Vince LOVES him so it's not overly surprising that he won.
Wonder if they'll do the Kennedy/Edge storyline with it, and have someone take it from him?
Also, this sucks so much for Tucker.
First he's quietly removed from TV and storylines, now Otis is being presented as a singles guy.
Wonder if he'll turn heel on Otis at some point.

I loved it. Blew the Boneyard match out of the water (Which I mean...I thought that match sucked so that wasn't a high bar to overcome) and Otis is great. Super unexpected but unlike with Jinder, people are actually behind Otis. That said I feel like there might be some hot-potatoing of the case like someone mentioned above.
