I did enjoy hearing about this guy. He seemed incredibly ahead of his time, reminded me of some of the heels before him.

Dark side of the ring is a great show doctor d was a badass but he don't have anything on new Jack he went beyond extreme wrestling I don't even know what to call that penitentiary wrestling if you haven't watched the new Jack episode you're in for a treat.

I started working on a custom of Dr. D the day after I watched the episode. Have to paint his hair to match his actual color still.

I used to watch this video all the time with my wrestling buddies. The guy was so hilarious and quotable.

KEEP IN MIND, this was all for show, to get Dr D heel heat. Wasn’t his wife or kids, they were paid actors. Before anyone calls him an abuser.

I love Dr. D, but I highly doubt he'll be signed to a WWE contract.

I really wish Mattel had the same freedom Jakks did to sign people themselves.

I watched this Morton Downey show after watching Dark Side this week. Crazy how backwards it is compared to what we know now. These guys were struggling hard to keep kafabe alive.

Probably won't happen which sucks. I hate that the one set of figures I want to collect isn't aimed at adult collectors. Mean while I'm seeing companies like NECA getting people to throw down $30-$60 on 80's stuff.

They showed part of that segment on the Dark Side episode. He talked about how the police showed up at Vince’s office wanting his address so they could arrest him for spousal and child abuse. And Vince has to explain to them it was a show and it wasn’t his family. lol
