I got a Vizio 43” M series tv that I got last year for 300-400$. Great tv, once you find the picture color settings that you like. The default color setting out of box seem great at 1st. But with certain content that you’re watching (like HDR, SDR, apps) those default setting look horrible. I’m use to LG or better yet Sony where I’d do little setting adjustments.
I’d say LG but I’ve had the most issues with them. HDMI ports not working after only a few months, remote control not working, screen freezes. Had the chip board replaced on 2 different LG tvs.
I’d recommend Sony, but they’re way over priced now.

I'd recommend rtings.com if you want a deep dive into things. If you do a lot of streaming stuff it might be worth it to get a TV that has Dolby Vision. More companies back Dolby where as last I checked Samsung was the only one backing HDR10 Plus.

Samsungs have the best TVs and Ill fight anyone, any time, anywhere who disagrees with me. I currently have 3 (65", 46" & 32") my dad has 3 (75", two 46") and my mom has 3 (two 46" and 40")
Also dont be afraid to buy "last years model" and save yourself money, especially if you're just using it for basic viewing like TV & movies and all the bells & whistles arent a necessity. I bought all my TVs at HH Gregg when they were in business and always bought the previous years versions and saved quite a bit of money.

I got the display now I need a player. I've already bought some movies for it. I also saw that Dawn of the Dead is getting released over seas but not here. What gives? Good movie like that hasn't been out in America in a long ass time.

Good movie like that hasn't been out in America in a long ass time. Richard P. Rubinstein owns the rights to Dawn of the Dead in america and did something stupid. He spent a ton of money to convert the movie to 3D, way past the 3D fad that was happening in the 2009-2013 years. Now any time a company comes along to ask about releasing an updated home video release, Rubinstein asks for the amount of money he spent on the 3D conversion which is an insane amount of money for any company to put up. Actually most companies know not to ask him. But the good news is that the 4K release you are talking about can be shipped here from a place like base.com. And all 4K disc are set to a "worldwide" region meaning they'll play on any 4K player. The same company is releasing a Blu-Ray set that due to contracts/Rubinstein has to be region locked so you'd need a region free player.

Hopefully the transfer looks good I'm not familiar with second sight. Does Rubinstein have any involvement with Day of the Dead?

I think it's with ViacomCBS since Laurel and Spelling merged and was bought out by Viacom which was merged into ViacomCBS. Shout/Scream put it out a few years ago but i think the contract should be running out soon which will make it OOP. I always found 4K and super hi def TVs make everything look like a soap opera. This is due to a setting on most displays these days. They come with this "feature" turned on by default but you can turn it off. It's a smoothing/motion setting. Tom Cruise even did a PSA about it:
