I feel like wwe had a chance to use the real life friendships of John Morrison , Miz , Dolph Ziggler, & Zack Ryder to make a super fun faction. Running around doing shenanigans, drive people nuts yet winning championships. I would have loved to see this and they finally brought Morrison Back and now Zack is gone. Super disappointed, anyways any one else feel this?

I always liked Zack Ryder and felt the way the WWE handled him was really strange. He worked his ass off to get himself over with the audience, I remember fans chanting his name during a CM Punk promo. Then it was like they grudgingly gave him a push, but it was the worst push ever! I do not see how they ever thought the storylines they gave him were going to take him to the next level.

Super talented. Look forward to seeing what is coming down the road for him. I hope there is a Major squad with him, Brian, Gallows, Heath, Anderson. An nWo type storyline, but comedic (not straight across like the bWo). But bros having fun, and kicking ass.

Vince never wanted Zack Ryder to succeed, so what we would call a missed opportunity wouldn't have even registered as a possibility to him.

They did miss any opportunity to get him that mega push but let’s not just pretend like he was some jobber. He’s been multi time tag champ, ic champ,US title. He’s had a long solid career in wwe

Zack Ryder is like pancakes, they are good and you enjoy them in the beginning, but towards the end, you're just sick of them.

Dude got to work 14 years of his life at his dream job. Im sure he made some decent cheddar in that time. Wouldn’t call it a missed opportunity, hes super talented but if it werent him in that jobber to the stars with a consolation push thrown in there every now and then spot, it would’ve gone to somebody else just as talented and underrated. I’d say he had a great run. It could’ve been better, but for what it was, dude was with the same company for 14 years. Most workers don’t even make it there and if they do, they’re not keeping their job for as long as he did. My hat is off to him for making the most of what they gave him and I’m looking forward to seeing how he does in this new chapter of his career

He was told he wouldn't be pushed and he needed to get himself over.
He was ahead of his time in this industry and got himself over big time.
The company resented him for it and buried him on Raw.
Zach Ryder is/was/always will be too good for WWE.

Missed opportunity?  no! The guy was jobber fodder, should have been released a while ago. Far too many talented wrestlers have gone before that clown. That's the real sad thing. |

The problem with a lot of those guys like Ryder, Hawkins, and others is that they were just too damn comfortable working for the WWE and collecting a pay check.
If Ryder, Hawkins, Miz, Morrison and Ziggler walked into Vince's office and said, "Listen Vince, we want to be a group on TV, we know we can make you and the WWE and each other money, give us the shot, we demand it!" then Vince would have stopped, and listened.
Back in the 90s, HBK, Bret, Austin, all of them would go into Vince's office and tell him things. Braun Strowman heard of that and did the same thing a few months ago and now he's being pushed as the Universal Champion. After having the Tag and IC Titles in the last few months.
The guys like Ryder, Hawkins, Slater, and them only have themselves to blame. Vince loves it when wrestlers come in and show passion. Those guys were just content being where they were at and making money.
