Hate to say I told you so... Ryder made the 40k back and more. He turned a profit on that deal. He’s got money, and when this is over he’ll be a very desirable free agent From the sounds of the poster saying hate to say I told you so, they just want to be considered “correct” and get that pat on the back. Like you said Ryder made that back and more. Chances are Ryder makes plenty more than almost all if not everyone on the board and will easily land back on his feet. I’m confident that if he and Hawkins eventually want back in to WWE that they will be rehired once things begin to look up.

Wonder how Ryder will deal with collecting after being released today? And Hawkins too.
Feel really bad for those guys.
I remember losing my job back in early 2000 and having to sell off my you collection to pay bills and shit.
Really sucks.

Im sure they will be okay. The podcast brings in enough at this point, plus they have brand deals, or at least the option to get more. And yeah, they are gonna be the hottest free agent tag team for any company if they aren't rehired in the end.

He’s got money, and when this is over he’ll be a very desirable free agent I predicted that he’d be at the top of the list of people who’d be released. Also, I said that if he attempted to sell big ticket items during this economic recession he’d lose money on his investment. That’s not what he did.

I couldn't imagine spending any amount of thousand for a single figure.
Oh look... A Moon Belly Kamala! Here's $10,000.

Bottom line is he wouldn’t buy these things if he didn’t have enough in the bank to also be financially stable. I know it sucks we don’t have a collection like his, but you don’t see all of us here 🤬 and complaining wanting to be right that the man will now have to sell everything? Hell, even if he sells his most valuable pieces for a lost, I’d be willing to bet you and many others wouldn’t be able to afford them. Just give it a rest and instead of wanting to incite this kind of stuff, why not send positive thoughts there way. Then losing their job is just like anyone else losing a job they have a passion for a love. These guys are all going to be okay financially, these two won’t lose any of their figures.

Actually, I like Ryder. We get it though. You’re on his nuts. But what you don’t get is that he has literally just lost his primary source of income. If you think that won’t have any ramifications on his personal finances, you must not have an income. I’m not jealous of his collection, impressive as it may be. My collection is pretty remarkable in its own right. Ryder, the guy you idolize has approached me about purchasing a few different pieces. Actually, the dude was harassing me at one point. Fortunately I’m still employed and have never even had to consider selling anything.

You’re the one who’s been coming across almost obsessively that you want us to deem you to be the one who is correct in the matter and that you have figured out his financial matters without even knowing a thing about them. Like I said earlier, he’s an adult. He wouldn’t buy these things if he didn’t have money put away to fall back on INCASE he was ever out of work. I think anyone does this with any purchase. Make sure you have money in the bank incase something unexpected, such as this pandemic, renders you without a source of income. We could go back and forth continually, so I’ll leave it at this. At the end of the day, I don’t think we will see any changes to his collection. I actually think we will see him and Brian prosper in the long run and land in another promotion, or perhaps back in WWE in just a few short months or whenever this clears. I’d like to think we can both agree that we want for all these guys to succeed AND be able to keep up there hobbies.

I’m not a fan of Ryder at all, but you wouldn’t wish this on anyone... hopefully he (and the others involved) have been smart with their money and saved (or invested) wisely until things can pick up for them... sadly, there are far to many stories of Wrestlers (to be fair, it’s far beyond wrestling) over spending when times are good and winding up in desperate times when the money slows down...
Hawkins does have the school (likely closed at the moment) - but he has a kid, so I really feel for him (as a father of 2). I think his ‘collection’ or collecting is the last thing on his mind and he would sell it in heart beat if it meant keeping a roof over his families head... Ryder doesn’t have that responsibility (children).
Angle, Hurricane (maybe a couple of others) could still have a legends deal of sorts... might have just lost their full time roles.

I’d like to think we can both agree that we want for all these guys to succeed AND be able to keep up there hobbies. Buddy. You obviously hate to admit when another person is right. News flash, I was correct. I said that he was a candidate for termination and less than month later he was fired. This is a simple fact. When you deny a simple fact, you look crazy. I agree that his being released is sad but to your other point, as an adult myself (older than he is, and probably older than you are) I can attest that it is also a fact that when a person loses their primary source of income, their standard of living is affected. It’s impossible for it not to be. I’m sure he has savings, but do you think he’ll dip into his savings to support his hobby? If so (which would be fiscally irresponsible) then right there is how it’s been affected, because before he was able to continue to deposit into his savings while still supporting his hobby. If that’s not the effect than something else will be. Somethings got to give. That’s all that I am saying. These are the same sentiments Dreamer was expressing. If you can’t understand that then you must not be a self sustaining adult living in the real world.

This started out decent enough, but to feel the need to single anyone out for what they do with their disposable income, or to make light of recent events, comes across tactless and wholly inappropriate. Rather than post on this forum, I would suggest an exercise in self reflection.
