I'm one of those who can't put a finger on exactly when I started watching. it's as if it's just something that always was. I can confidently say that my Dad is who introduced me to it. By the early 90's he was checked out. When Austin rose to the top he got invested again, but by 2000 he was checked out again. He's watched a few shows with me since (He enjoyed Impact around 2013 for a bit and watched WM 29 with me and a buddy.) As far as who in wrestling hooked me? That's an easy one. Attachment DeletedThis man was my Hulk Hogan. Going to share a few videos of my fondest memories watching him.

Honestly, don't remember. Me being a fan of wrestling is as old as my time being sentient.

My grandpa was a fan. He helped raise me, so he introduced me into the "sport" back in the early 80s.
I was one of the little Hulkamaniacs taking my vitamins

One of my buddies in middle school called me on the phone one night (while we were in the 6th grade) and told me to change to TNT. I did and saw wrestling and was confused and asked him if he meant another channel. He said "just watch it with me for a little bit". I did and made fun of it the entire time. "He didn't follow through!", "That time he didn't even make contact!", etc. After a couple of weeks of doing this, he noticed I wasn't ragging on it anymore and could hear me (through my breaths) get excited during certain moments and asked me "do you get it now?". So, I went from making fun of it, to becoming a huge fan of it and loving it (stables in particular). nWo, DX, NOD, Raven's Flock, Hart Foundation, Stone Cold, etc. are a big reason I become a fan. And the Nitro Girls

My dad, simple as that he would watch it and I wAnted to be around him. He's been gone for around 12 years now but every time I see something to remind me of when we use to watch it all the memories come back of me and him enjoying it together.

My dad watched wrestling and was a Roddy Piper fan. I grew up a Hulkamaniac in the 80's as a kid watching with him.
My dad took me Maple Leaf Gardens to watch wrestling live. The wrestlers went into the arena in an area in the back. I remember the British Bulldogs walking in dressed in full ring gear with Matilda on a leash. At some point Hogan arrived in (what I remember to be) an SUV type of vehicle. Some guy was driving and Hogan was in the back. People surrounded the truck so it stopped. We were at his door. My dad held me up to the window. Hulk Hogan was RIGHT THERE. I banged on the window and said, "Hulk you're the best." He looked at me through the window and gave me a thumbs up. One of the best moments of my childhood.
I was at Wrestlemania 6 when The Ultimate Warrior beat Hogan. Broke my 9 year old heart. Years later I was at Wrestlemania 18 for Hogan - Rock. Still the most UNBELIEVABLE atmosphere I've ever been apart of.

100% all due to my brother. Our great grandmother was a huge fan and watched WCW with him constantly growing up in the mid to late 80s. I was born into a wrestling obsessed family and my love for it hasn't died down at all. My brother also is my reason for figure collecting.

My dad, who never was the biggest wrestling fan, ordered St. Valentines Day Massacre for whatever reason. At age 3, I sat and watched with him and have been a fan ever since. Of course I don’t remember that specific night, but my father tells me I was hooked and have been ever since.

Mine was being introduced by our neighbour when we use to go over to his place to watch wwf ppv's on his tv in the early 90's. Later on catching it on tv while we lived out in the middle of nowhere with 3 channels. Their superstars show would come on every saturday. The good old days

When I was a kid, I enjoyed the WWF but grew out of by the time I left elementary school. When I was in college, my roommates had two televisions in the living room for the sole purpose of watching Nitro and Raw at the same time. I didn't really have a choice but to be hooked and have been ever since.

I was pretty much born into it. Most of my early memories have at lease something to do wrestling. So I blame my family.

Growing up with a much older brother who was an obsessive Kane and Rock fan (which quickly made me one too), and my childhood friend being obsessed with it as well - lost a lot of passion for watching it since said friend passed but still will binge watch the network from 98 - 03 period.
