Jim Henson. Died way too soon and he could have been saved. There's a great 4 or 5 part youtube series on Henson I watch last year. 20-30 minutes each epsisode, so it is pretty in depth. really interesting stuff. If you haven't seen it, Here :

Wrestling wise, Gorilla Monsoons passing in 99 hit me the hardest. Over 20 years later and I still tear up watching this tribute. You can hear it in Vince's voice how much he meant to him and the company.

Road Warrior Hawk really got me. LOD was my favorite tag team growing up and it was so sad to see him go after he finally got sober. Ryan Dunn was a hard one too. So sudden and unexpected. RIP

The weirdest one for me was Peaches Geldof. I wasn't a fan of hers or anything but thought she was cool, and being Bob's daughter and all. She was only a little younger than me so it was kind of shocking to hear of her dying so young when I was more or less the same age.

Richard Pryor for me in the past was a hard hit and more recently Dolores O'Riordan of Cranberries fame was the hardest to hit.
Chris Cornell was also pretty devastating but some things just kind of transcend that personal connection sometimes. The first two for me were a lot more impactful for whatever reason.

Stefán Karl Stefánsson, the actor who played Robbie Rotten on LazyTown. When I read that he died from Stage 4 Bile Duct cancer, I was heartbroken. He'll live on in memes. He will always be Number One. No other actor could possibly play Robbie Rotten.
Billy Mays. When he died over 10 years ago, I couldn't believe it. I miss seeing him come on my TV to sell some infomercial product. I do look up his old commercials on YouTube from time to time.
Stan Lee. He was a true legend in the comic book industry. I loved seeing his cameo's in Marvel movies.
Robin Williams. I remember calling my nephew and he broke the news about Robin William's death. He is a huge Robin Williams fan. There was no other actor out there who could do what Robin Williams could do. From comedy classics such as Mrs. Doubtfire, and dramedy roles such as Jack, or being straight up dramatic in Good Will Hunting, to playing the a creep or a villain in films such as One Hour Photo and August Rush.

John Lennon.. Gunned him down point blank. John Lennon’s assassin told his wife his plans to murder the Beatle two months before shooting him dead in 1980, according to new reports.

Roddy Piper and Adam West. Speaking of Celebrity deaths I read Kenny Rogers passed away yesterday. This will always be funny to me. One of my most favorite parodies ever, was Will Sasso as Kenny Rogers, and other then have the beard and hair, nothing about the impression was accurate. Maybe that's why it's hilarious. But I have to say Kenny's death is one, that hits a bit deep. Growing up he was one of the regular artists my mom would play, she's still a fan, and because of that I became a fan of his. It's amazing to see what a genre change in his music did for his career. RIP.

It didn't rock (no pun intended) me all that much, but i remember the feeling when i saw that Chris Cornell died.
I was never much into Soundgarden, but i loved Audioslave, so that's where i grew to like him so much. He had such a unique voice and presence. Definitely one of the top 5 greatest voices and vocalists of all time.
Though i was never a fan of his, when the Ultimate Warrior died, i was definitely shocked. Mainly because of how sudden and unexpected it was, just as he was back with the WWE and literally the day after he appeared on Raw...

Both Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit.
While Eddie's legacy is still intact, Benoit was one of my favorite wrestlers and then we found out what happened... it was shocking.

Owen Hart to this day is still the worst for me.
I don't go hard for most celebrities outside of the McMahons (and I'm telling you now, I still have nightmares about helicopters), but when Owen died, I was downright obsessed with the WWF. It was my world. If I could have had an IV of the attitude era hooked into my vein, I would have. So, while I wasn't his biggest fan personally, the aftermath absolutely destroyed me.
Also, as a personal experience, my best friend in high school idolized Owen. He was her hero, and she had even met him and sang his praises constantly.
She didn't get the PPVs. Guess who had to tell her.
So yeah, I really don't think anything will hit me that hard from any celebrity again. Unless, you know.
