What's the chance of the UFC ever doing another line of figures? Some Mattel ones would look sick

I doubt they would get another line since they flopped the first time around

I doubt they would get another line since they flopped the first time around I'd love another UFC line, I don't think it so much as flopped but I reckon UFC is a lot bigger and mainstream now than it was when the line hit, with the star power they have now and everyone eating ANYTHING McGregor up it'd favour a lot better, imo

The Jakks figures were cool but often floppy. It would likely be tough to get a line of full fledged good figures because of what it would cost. To be good, I think they’d need tight joints, tons of articulation, and cool sculpts and paint. They’d need to redo a octagon too. The Jakks one looked good but it was kinda slippery for figures. Some kind of fabric on the mat would be cool.
What I could see is a company like SH Figuarts making figures of a select few fighters. Or like McFarlane doing some statue type stuff.

I'd love it. But they would have to hit hard right out of the gate. A first set of say McGregor, Jones, Adesanya, Nunes, Liddell and Silva.
I'd probably invest heavily into collecting these.
Like said above, ufc is crazy popular. It could work.

I think a company like Hasbro could make some great figures but they never ever will.

I think statues or something like Round5 / HAO works for mma but mainstream articulated action figures like what jakks did, the demand just isn’t there. Also UFC popularity outside of McGregor has waned the past few years. Lack of star power has hurt. No more Liddell, past legends/ pride stars, no Brock, No Ronda.

I was happy with the Round 5 figs - so annoyed they ended them.

Oh man. I don’t particularly care for UFC but I hope they’re in direct scale to the AEW figures like the old Jakks line was back when they were doing WWE figures too.
It’d make for some cool custom wrestlers/jobbers for figure feds.

Now this is good news. Also, they're supposed to be out, as soon as late spring.

That is awesome! I don't watch as much UFC as I did 10 years ago, but I will definitely be interested in these! Don't know if I'll buy any, but I can't wait to see them!
