WWE SmackDown! Vs RAW 2007 was the first wrestling video game I ever played. I started watching WWE in late 2005-early 2006. It holds a very special place in my heart. What is your opinion of it.

WWF: Just Bring It and WWE: Here Comes The Pain are the only games that are better than SVR2007 in my opinion. Then WWE '13 and 2K14.

SmackDown vs Raw 2007 was the last wrestling game that I played a lot. I had it on three formats - got it for PS2 on release day, then I got an Xbox 360 a few weeks later and got it bundled with that, and a couple years later I got it for the PSP.

It was my first wrestling game I played right after it came out on PS2. I played WWF Attitude and WCW/NWO World Tour on my older brother's n64. My step brother and I got PSP's for Christmas 2007. We got SvR 07 and 08 for it.

Really liked 07, but SvR 2006 was(and still is) hands down my favorite of that time frame to come from the SvR PS2 era games.

Hated the entire SVR series, but this is where things started to go off the rails. The analog grapples were a cool concept that they never executed properly, the story mode kinda sucked, the trailer showed light tubes which we didn't end up getting in the final release and it was the first game to really push in a ton of motion captured animations after SvR06 introduced that into the series. I'd put this game soundly over every SvR after it, but it's not a game that I'd call good at all. Amazing graphics on the 360 version though. Beautiful game in that regard.

Those games were not good.

SvR 2007 had the best GM Mode of the 3 games that had it. Gameplay wise, HCTP and SvR 2006 were better games IMO

That's the one with Candice Michelle turning your character into a chick with her magical sparkly pixie wand right?
To me, i prefer this over SD vs. Raw 2006, something about the pacing during gameplay always bothered me about 2006. If i remember right, wasn't this the last game to have a Velocity arena?, i don't know whether Heat had one more year in it and was last seen on 2008 or this aswell.. oh good times <;'}
I don't know if this is my favourite SD vs. Raw but it's up there as one of the better ones, we had the Mexicools but no Juvi "Juice".. what the hell man? <:l

Here Comes the Pain and 06 were my favourite from the PS2 days. 07 was still a decent game though, just not my fave. I remember buying 07 from Blockbuster on launch day. It was weird the first playing it because Trish, Lita and Angle were all gone.
