In the elite 2 pack ideas thread I suggested a way to reissue the Kane attires that were RSC exclusives. I suggested a WM18 2 pack with Kurt Angle vs Kane as a way to reissue Hardcore Kane. Folks want him & another flashback attire for Kurt would always be welcome. Plus his WM18 outfit was a peach. Another alternative would be to do a 2 pack with Hardcore Kane vs Kevin Nash in his nWo 2002 attire. This is also sought after to pair up with the excellent Scott Hall 2002 elite. For the 2003 Kane you could package him with RVD and include a set of Raw tag belts and the oval IC. More Elite RVD figures would always be welcome and the oval IC is criminally rare now. The raw tagger would also make the set attractive. Are either of these ideas possible? Brothers of Destruction Vengeance 2001 packed with WCW and WWE tag belts would be the best way to redo hardcore Kane.

Don't know if questions are still being answered, but are there any plans for a 94 WCW Rick Rude with chest hair deco?

1. When can we expect more classic WCW title belt accessories, ala WCW Ron Simmons circa 1992? 2. Is there any chance that the figures from the Walmart Flashback wave such as Ricky Steamboat could land elsewhere in other waves? 3. Any chance we could ever get another elite Rick Rude? Like that would be a great way to get the WCW US title WCW era Rick Rude? I also wouldn't mind the Intercontinental title belt attire for a new Elite. Feel like we are overdo for a new Elite Rick Rude. SDCC showed off a new Rude. Not a WCW one but one I've personally been waiting for with the poofy hair and colorful tights. Toss on a robe and we're cooking with gas.
I'll repeat my question here for AFA: What do you think is the biggest accomplishment Mattel has made with the WWE line in particular?
OK I found it. It's definitely a new head sculpt at least, and swappable hands. So for Bill, around what wave/time period can we expect this new elite Rick Rude figure? It's Summerslam 1989 Rick Rude.

Are Retro's dead? If not, why were they put on ice to begin with?

Just throwing it out there again that I’ll answer more after Ringside get’s a chance to do their Q&A with Bill.
Please remember questions like “when are we getting (insert unannounced Superstar here)?!?!” can’t really be answered but know that we’re literally trying to get to everyone as quickly as possible. That includes available Legends. Announcing specific talent and/or release dates will have to wait for official reveals.

Its rumoured to be part of next year's Summerslam set but that has yet to be confirmed by MDT.
For Action Figure Attack,
If you had the rights to make another figure of the following, which gimmick/attire would you make:
Haku- King Haku OR Islanders Haku Hercules- Heel (black trunks) OR Face (blue trunks) King Kong Bundy- Molded singlet OR cloth singlet (re-release of legends line figure)
Rick Martel- Strike force OR another Model attire (Baby blue trunks/boots would be my preference) Superstar Billy Graham- 70s version OR 80s version

These would have to come with a new head sculpt though, he was wearing a more slicked back hair look in 1990 before he cut his hair.

These I can answer now. Rude is in the 2020 SummerSlam themed Elite wave. I’d do: King Haku followed by Meng. While I’d personally love to own an Islanders version, I’d be hesitant to include that in the line unless it was a Chase fig. Blue trunk for Herc. Molded gear on Bundy. New version of The Model, maybe Strike Force down the road a bit I’d want both Grahams. No preference on what version came first.

Thanks for replying to my question.
Your choices align with mine (except for Hercules- why blue trunks over black?!), just curious- are these your personal preferences or is this what Mattel would actually release if they were able to release figures of these legends?!
A couple more for you, if that is okay (I forgot to include them in the list):
British Bulldogs- Wrestlemania 2 OR Wrestlemania 3 (unfortunately Bulldogs are likely a long shot to be made but one can dream)
Mr. Fuji- Tuxedo OR Yokozuna manager attire

I'm not as up on the basics, but I don't believe we did. Oddly enough, we have Elite Ultimate Warriors for Summerslam 88 vs. Honky Tonk Man, Summerslam 1990 vs. Rick Rude, and Summerslam 1992 vs. Macho Man. Also WrestleMania VII vs. Macho Man. But not a Summerslam 1989 attire IMHO, we can never have enough Elite Rick Rude and Ultimate Warrior! MOAR!

These are just my preferences. If we were ever able to do these, final decision would come down to me, Bill and WWE aligning but those discussions wouldn’t even happen until each individual figure is greenlit to proceed. I just feel like Herc in blue was his most memorable run but like I said, it’s just my personal preference. 100% would want WM3 Bulldogs. Fuji in tux is by far most iconic. I feel like it’d be insult to collectors to not release that one first.
