AFA, thanks for all you do my brother. I am not going to ask you for Hercules, but can you give some indication as to why he is consistently on the high demand list but is never produced. I know Legends deal, etc. Is his family on the outs with Vince, any other extenuating circumstance that would lead him not to be made. Also, what would YOUR attire choice be. I would go with baby blue tights, red lightning bolt in fist, and chain and cuffs... No idea why there hasn’t ever been a deal honestly and if I did know I probably wouldn’t be allowed to share. My personal preferred order would be: Baby blue LJN Power and Glory And if we really were willing to go obscure, Super Invader

There are sensitivities around the symbol and we were not able to include it. I know it has appeared in the past on toys but the world has continuously evolved since then. Does that mean a USSR sweatshirt is not ever gonna happen? No idea truthfully. Let’s get this one out before we dive into exploring the potential next Volkoff fig.

Hey Steve, two questions. I'll lead off with this one and I'm not being snarky at all when I ask this but how is it possible that given the allegations and evidence against them, that guys like Velveteen Dream and Austin Thoery are still receiving figures? Especially in the case of Velveteen where there's a ton of evidence, I don't understand why you'd want to release a figure of him? Second question is with the Amazon UE figures, will they be quarterly like the regular series? Thanks for your time! I can answer your UE question. They could be a bit bunched up timing wise in Summer/Fall 2021 but they will be quarterly in 2022.

Hey Steve, from what you’ve seen so far, have there been any issues with marks due to the black soft goods duster on the new Legends Warrior (like Rick Rude & Yokozuna) ?

I asked this before but may have gotten overlooked or lost in the shuffle but do you know what BAF pieces are coming with which wrestler in the WM line?

If they ever became available to you, which of the following would you want to produce most? Tag team: Power and Glory or Powers of Pain Manager: Genius or Mr Fuji WCW attire: Rick Rude or Ricky Steamboat Authority Figures: Jack Tunney or Eric Bischoff Tag Champ: Haku or Rick Martel Repaint figure: Facepaint Andre or Mania V Macho Man Championship: Hogan 85 or Andre 87 Interview segment (figure and set): Brother Love Show or Barber Shop Fun question. Powers of Pain Mr Fuji Rick Rude (tough one but we can get a head sculpt with a mean expression on Rude here which I think would be cool.) Bischoff Haku (want more Martel figs but we don’t have a Mattel Haku at all yet.) Mania V Macho (with robe) Hogan 85 Title Barber Shop (another tough one but barber shop edges this one out so you can recreate the Rockers break up and the Sid shaving cream incident. Lol!)

It’s simply the direction Design decided to go with this particular sculpt. To give him hair he never had and a sun tan that he didn’t have at the time? Seems a strange design decision to do that. Hmmmm. Love the boards. Have a nice day everyone!

Meaning potentially getting say, four figures around the time UE9 would ship as opposed to the two in the base set and one Amazon exclusive?

Hi Steve
Hope your safe and well
More of a business orientated question:
What has been the biggest challenge in the ‘covid era’ and has it changed many plans or have most of the drops and reveals still been in the same timeframe originally planned?
From an outside fan perspective I have to say some of the figures and packaging this year have been phenomenal - the minimal sleek design of the decade packaging looks so nice and tidy
Thanks

Hello Steve. First of all I am very thankful for the work that you and your co-workers put in to making amazing action figures for adult collectors and kids like me. During these times of COVID it is very hard to get to the store. My question is will British Bulldog be on Ringside collectibles with the rest of elite series 82? Other collectors editions have been put on there from 77-81 minus the special edition undertaker. Also the Keith lee chase variant is not on the website with the rest of the figures. Will these figures be available on the website or was the exclusives being on ringside just a special for quarantine? Thank you so much. Love all of your work for these amazing figures. Also two more questions, when will images of elite 81 come out and any ric flair figures in production? Thank you Steve

Steve, has the idea of a two in one figure of Hacksaw been considered? 1 head of his younger self, and 1 head from the Ruthless Aggression era. The body and attire could be his original legends figure with a soft goods pair of blue shorts that he wore during the RA era.

Always a possibility for more of that.

Steve haven’t seen you as active on here as you usually are and we’re. Any reason for that?

Steve haven’t seen you as active on here as you usually are and we’re. Any reason for that? I moved in September so was busy packing, moving and unpacking. On top of that, it’s a very busy time of year in the industry as we really get rolling with the following year’s product (2022). Keep in mind I pop in here during my personal free time. If I’m not here that most likely means I have no fee time. Lol!

Glad the line is able to provide some semblance of normalcy and escape in these crazy times. Not certain about Bulldog’s availability beyond Target just yet. Working on it. Undertaker is exclusive to Walmart in the US and will be prominently featured on the Fall feature display. He should be plentiful. Not sure if he’ll be on their website yet. Chase figs like Keith Lee are randomly packed in cases. So Ringside will get some as usual but it will remain random. I can’t speak to why they did or didn’t list pre-orders for that particular chase. We release figure images of full waves fairly quickly after they’re shot and touched up. Should be soon. Can’t give you specifics on unannounced figs but if a talent (especially a prominent one) is available to us, they’ll get figs or have plans for figs.

From an outside fan perspective I have to say some of the figures and packaging this year have been phenomenal - the minimal sleek design of the decade packaging looks so nice and tidy Thanks Hey brother. Hope you’re well also. The biggest challenge has really been working from home. You really lose an element of the easy collaboration that being together in a creative environment fosters. Still making it work though. Just takes a little more effort. If you look back, reveals are still happening at roughly the same milestones as the previous few years. I definitely wanted to make sure that remained the same regardless if there were physical events or not. No actual product plans were drastically impacted by all this. I think the only high profile fig cancellation was Legends Sting and that had nothing to do with Covid. Glad you dig the packaging. Members of that team are unsung heroes of the line for sure. They’re fans too and it shows in their work.
