Hey Steve, has your team ever thought about doing BAF in the more accessible Legends line as opposed to the harder to get MNW line? When Walmarts are lucky to get one case of a series for MNW, it basically becomes a one person in that area gets the line, since most buy the case.

I'm a chase w**re. As a 100% MIBber, whether they're affixed to your wrestling competitor, or to a line from a galaxy that is so far away the toys are micro, nothing comes close to the adrenaline of seeing that beloved sticker as I turn into the figure aisle and start gazing at packages.
Why doesn't Mattel do something similar? Is it a production number thing? Is it to differentiate from what Jakks did? Something else? Any insight would be great, if not, I know you're busy, all good, I won't lose any sleep!

Hi Steve,

It feels like we are missing a true representation of some of the big guys of the late 80s/Early 90s - Bulldog 1991, Warlord, Hercules, Barbarian all had big thick torsos, less defined more rounded with huge traps and arms.

Could we see a new torso made to cover some of these guys? Appreciate you chat share who you have or haven’t got under contract but it feels like you could get multiple uses out of it over time so hopefully worth the investment.

Can we also get more accurate tan’s on the likes of bulldog, almost a red straight of the sun bed look - these are things that made these guys stand out in the land of the giants era.

Target legends 24 rollout today. A significant sale making figures 16 dollars. Pre-sales fulfilled on time. Being able to order online for pickup or shipping on the date advertised. Being able to walk in almost any target for a period of roughly two months and find those legends in that series. A good chance for another sale in that time period.

Meanwhile at walmart...

Is there nothing that Mattel can do to help Walmart be more like Target?

is there anything mattel can do about Walmart and its online pre-orders?

it is very difficult for Walmart to fulfill preorders, most of them are cancelled or delayed for months, while in stores there is stock, a clear example is the UE monday night wars wave 2 preorders, they have already changed the delivery date 3 times, while in many facebook groups several people have shown that there is stock in the stores.


for many collectors who do not have the possibility to go physically to the store, it is very frustrating to have to go to resellers to get the Walmart exclusive figures.

How is Paulmart/frank and son getting more Monday night wars elites and ultimates then Walmart isn’t it a Walmart exclusive why is he the only person/vendor that gets MNW product shouldn’t Mattel be looking into something like this….

I know that you’d love to sign them all, but some of these are glaring omissions from the line, and then you’ve got other legends like Demolition who we didn’t get a Kona Crush or a Repo Man.

Can you give any insight on why my orders on Mattel creations keep shipping later and later? I’m seeing others receive the items and weeks go by before mine ship. I’m in Australia and expect them to take longer, but when they ship so much later it amplifies the wait.

Hi Steve, Sooo...the Monday Night Wars Ultimate preorders are a nightmare. They've been pushed back another month and a half. Do you still see Walmart turning the page anytime soon? Because they certainly haven't yet.
