Wow man! Awesome find. I can still hear the sound of the pages as I'm turning them.

Great find mate! I used to love going into Argos with my mum when I was a kid and getting my toys from the 80s, MOTU, Thundercats, Turtles....ahh memories. Im looking at a catalogue from 87 at the moment, and checking the Bravestar figures out, totally forgot about those.

Had no idea the TTL Playset retailed for £40, that's mental! I got an absolute steal on mine for £5 from a car boot sale a few years back haha.

Can't find the BCA Undertaker and Shawn Michaels figures in the 96/97 edition... We're they in the Littlewoods catalogue? 🤔

Pretty certain it was that one because I remember I always preferred it to Argos.

I remember my friend having the Hogwarts set but we weren't allowed to play with it as it took his dad days to build and he didn't want us wrecking it hahah.

This is great fun going through these books from the late 80s, I remember some of these pages! Checkout the Real Ghostbusters toys in the 88/89 catalogue, and remember the Matchbox, My Pet Monster? Mr Frosty as well? lol great times.

If either of you ever locate a pic of this set, please do send it my way or tag me in a post. Thanks. I know Grapple Arcade and Next Man’s Knowing Rock have mentioned having it before. Were there any other BCA 2-packs besides Taker/HBK and Austin/Taker? I saw a scan of the latter in the Autumn/Winter '99 Argos catalogue. Looked to be a couple of Superstars Series 7 re-releases.

I also looked for it in these books when I saw the link haha. It wasn’t a real two pack though, it was literally just the single-packed series 1 HBK and Undertaker both in a white box. Argos and Index often used to group figures together like that, you can see it in the He-Man pages in the mid eighties.

They didn't have a lot of wrestling stuff as I recall, I think it really was just Undertaker and Shawn Michaels and a Microphone with sound effect buttons, which I still have.

Like the wrestler's names and something to do with the Bone Crunching Action? If it wasn't for you guys reminiscing over the years, I don't think I would have ever known about these UK exclusives lol so thanks a million. I don’t really recall, but I think it was just a plain white box that had the catalog number for the item. I wouldn’t really consider it a UK exclusive - not like the Regal/Bulldog set from the RA years, anyway. The packaging on the figures was just the standard BCA series 1 packaging, I think. But man, it’s one of my favourite wrestling figure memories. They were HBK and Taker updated from their Hasbro figure looks, and the fact that all of the limbs moved was just incredible. I was disappointed that I only got new ones every six months when Argos and Index updated. I think that after this Taker and HBK and the Bret I got at a live event later that year, the next WWF figures I got were a signature series Mankind and Stone Cold, and a Slammers Goldust and Undertaker. They were both also bundled as two-packs, I think.

I don't know about the white box, when I received the two figures on Christmas morning they were both individually boxed in their standard packaging. I do have a photo somewhere of me having just unwrapped Undertaker but I can't find it right now... On a side note, I remember putting "The Undertaker" and "Hulk Hogan's friend" on my Christmas list because squinting at the little picture and not reading the description as a six year old kid probably wouldn't, I thought Shawn Michaels was Brutus Beefcake 😬. I also remember my mum's friend asking me what I was hoping to get for Christmas and replying " Wrestling figures!... With Bone crunching action!" 😅

And a catalogue on the spine if I remember correctly. They used to sell other none wrestling figures in very similar. So it wasn’t specific to wrestling unfortunately. Nothing fun stood out on the packaging.
