So ive been growing my hair for a year and 3 months now, as you can imagine its getting fairly long, however my hair is very thick and bushy, very similar to Slash from Guns N Roses. Its looking good but its getting into my eyes and annoying me, its not the type of hair you can sweep back into a ponytail so im just wondering if theres anyone else with this type of hair that can advise how to keep it out of my eyes, im tried parting the fringe but the wind just blows it back over my eyes. I wish I knew Slash lol he would be perfect to ask as theres not too many with my hair type.

I don’t have that hair type, my hair is sort of like Bucky Barnes. But, to keep my hair out of my face, a lot of the time I put it in a bun. It’s a lot easier than a ponytail. I also wear headbands/bandanas often, that helped train my hair lay back.

it looks like slash might shorten it at the very front or get it thinned out. don't complain - a lot of hair is better than none! haha. i've had long hair for the majority of my 20s, but i'm not sure how much longer my hairline will let me away with it.

That awkward stage is annoying, used to wear a cap all the time. If you're in a place you can't wear a cap I'd just try some product and keep it slicked back until its long enough you can tie it. The awkward stage ends one day my friend!

Maybe try straightening it? My hair would look awful straightened. Always go with your natural hair pattern, too many alter their hair and ruin it.

Dude, I feel your pain. I cut my hair on St. Patrick's day of 2018 and JUST cut my hair about 5 days ago. It was long, and since I have cowlicks, it was getting into my eyes, and even my mouth at times when I tried to eat. I would put it up in a pony tail like HBK did, or Jericho, where the top of the hair is in the pony tail but the back is still some what a mullet look. It worked for the time being. But then hot humid weather came into play and I said, "screw this!" and I cut it off short. Now, I don't have any issues, and I am okay with that.

Seriously- it could make Tawny Kitean jealous. But that was a very long time ago. Enjoy your hair while you still have it. If I let mine grow out now, I'd end up looking like Larry Fine from the 3 Stooges. Maybe use a headband/bandana/knit hat?

Business in the front, party in the back! Frank Rizzo approves

My hair is actually similar to Sami's in my PP right now lol. I want it long but it's not completely straight so I usually just comb it straight and let it dry itself.

Wish I could be of more help. I have very long hair, below shoulder blade length, but it's naturally curly so when I need to look professional I just dunk my head in the sink, dry the hair off a bit, slick it back, ponytail most of it and grease the sides so they don't stick out from my glasses.

best thing you can do during the awkward stage is slick it back like cm punk did. then once it gets longer, you'll be able to pony tail it.

I feel like every time I've seen Slash his hair is literally hanging in front of his eyes. I think he stopped caring and just let it happen. Also he seems to wear sunglasses a lot. Maybe that would help.
