Damn Vamp being available is gonna be awesome. Question: did he have dreadlocks and wear the white paint during his Lucha Libre days or was this his look only in WCW??

This seriously just made my day. Vampiro has been a top 10 want for me for a long time. I can't wait to see what else they have to show in August.

One other interesting note from the podcast - Lucha Underground had signed a merch deal with Masked Republic shortly before they ended. Those could have been some really cool figures had things worked out differently.

I think that was the look he adapted in WCW. I don't think I've ever seen a picture or video of him in his original CMLL run with it.

Good news is we're getting some of them anyways through BFS and Jazwares. I'm happy about that.

Anyone know why RSC didn’t pick up the Legends Of Lucha line to sell on their site? I know other sites did, but just wonder why RSC didn’t?

Also of note from the Boss Fight Live, they said late Fall for the Lucha Bros and accessory packs and we got a look at the 3D renders for the Fanaticos/Basic wave 1 figures.

Taya looks amazing. I'm super excited for Juvi, but will probably wait for a look I'm more familiar with in the premium line.

For a basic line they look great. I definitely want that Taya.

Per Masked Republic on Twitter, they're hoping to do preorders on Fanaticos Wave 1 and Collectors Series wave 2 around when Penta/Fenix ship.

Can not wait to get a masked Juvi premium/elite style figure. That Laredo Kid in Series 3 is also going to be awesome! I really really really hope this line succeeds. Would love to see them releases a six sided ring or even just a Lucha themed ring!

In my opinion juventud should have been in "elite" style, not just fantasticos

I know collectors complain, but it's smart business to do less desirable looks in the lower priced line first, and then do the the most well known look as a premium figure. I really hope this line is successful and they're able to sustain it longterm. WCW-era Konnan, Vamiro, Juvi, etc are my top wants. But I'm sure we'll be seeing multiple releases for the most popular wrestlers.

I think the renders of the Fanaticos figures look really good. I'm especially looking forward to Taya and Juvi. Pentagon and Fenix look cool, but I usually don't care for figures in their t-shirt looks. I'll probably still get them if I have the funding, just to support the line. I really want both of these lines (Fanaticos and Collectors) to succeed.
It's also good to know the Collector's Series Pentagon and Fenix figures are on track for late fall, as well as the preorders for Collector's Series wave two and the Fanaticos wave one. It will be a long wait.

Here's a video update where Erik confirms they haven't gone into full production on series 1 yet. Says they're hoping for late summer/early fall but realistically probably going to be late fall. Also confirms six waves of the Collectors/Ultimate style figures as well as "many, many" waves of the Fanaticos/Basics.

It makes me very happy to know they have a good, long-term plan for these figures. I can't wait to hear who else is in the works.
