Los Angeles Police were called on May 9th after he hadn't been seen at the facilitation center in a month which was unlike for Hicks to do. "Randy was always the first one here in the morning so yes, we knew something was wrong when he stopped showing up," said the attendant at the front desk of the facilitation center. Police were familiar with Hicks as he was arrrested in 2010 for drug possession and theft.
According to the anonymous associate, he was last seen heading to the facilitation center on Avram Avenue after he left their home wearing an old wrestling shirt, baggy pants and combat boots. He is known for his bright green hair and numerous tattoos.

Residents in the Rohnert Park area have reported a local homeless man to be missing. The man is well known throughout the community and locals are worried about his whereabouts. Randy Hicks, 24, or as he's known in the community, Ran was last seen March 2nd by one of his closet associates who asked to remain anonymous. "He came by the house and just hung out with my best friend and I," the associate told the press, "I didn't think that would be the last time any of us would see him."
Hicks reportedly spends most of his time at the nearby facilitation center where he would help clean up, tend to the elderly or even play with some of the children living there. As a reward for his good deeds, the facility gave Mr. Hicks internet access, which is how he stayed active on his Facebook page. "For someone that had very little, he gave so much," said one of the residents at the facilitation center, "He dedicated a lot of his time to help the elderly and the children here, he's quite remarkable."

When asked why the facilitation center wouldn't take Hicks in, the attendant said, "He didn't want to stay here because he felt like he would be a burden. He'd much rather help others than himself."

Police have asked residents to report anything that could lead to the discovery of Hicks. "Nobody just vanishes without a trace so we need the help of the community to help us find him," said police chief John Cummings. So far, there is no evidence to indicate any foul play led to Hicks' disappearance but police want to cover all their bases. "Randy is a big part of our community and we will do what it takes to make sure he's found," said another Rohnert Park resident.
If you have any information on the disappearance of Randy Hicks, please notify your local authorities.
