Is anyone else playing this on the PC or mobile? I'm absolutely addicted to the game. Free to play. Different from the traditional card game in that you only get three monster slots and three spell/trap zone slots. That's to promote strategy, and Konami's new kick, Speed Dueling.
I need friends to play with, only got one buddy who plays it. But the game just hit the two year mark and it's still going strong.
Note, if you play on the PC, or on mobile, the games are the same, no advantages. And if you're on PC, you can duel mobile friends, and vice versa.
Would love to have some WFers to play this with if you are into the card game, or were growing up. It's a great nostalgia trip, and the harder duels, like ranked, really make your mind work on strategy.

This game still exists? I remember playing the card game in like 2004, or whenever I was in 8th grade. So 15 years ago.

I played up to Stage 3 then it asked for an update and my phone is near max storage so I couldn’t do it 😫

It does eat a lot of memory, especially if you continue with it. A lot of the info is stored in the cloud, but the events and base game is rather big for a mobile game. But also, the OG game itself when it just had Yugi, Kaiba, Joey, Tea, Jaden, Alexis, Chazz, and Bastion had a log of almost a thousand cards stored on your phone as part of the base game.

The mobile game is faster paced and you only get 20-30 cards in your deck to work with depending on what you're running. But there's a ton of mechanics they've added from the card game as it's evolved, such as Graveyard Reliance, Synchro Summoning, and every character in the game has like, 10 different skills you can unlock that are unique just to the game and how you play. Like if you watched the show growing up and remember Bandit Keith, he has a skill that would be like how he cheated with loaded dice, letting you reroll if you get a bad toss or whatever. It's pretty fun. Even even though the online is, in all honesty, Pay 2 Win, you can do perfectly well with Free 2 Play and whip the people with deep pockets. XD

Duelling Joey gave me all the feels! Oh yeah. I wish they'd release a better console game, though. I liked Legacy of the Duelist for what it was, but it was literally just a rehashing of the stories of Duel Monsters, GX, 5Ds, Vrains, and Cyber Links with a set amount of monsters, traps and spells in the game. Give me Duel Links, but full 40 card deck, full mat set rules, on console and I'll be happy as a clam.
