Thanks -- bummed we have to wait until August, but I can't wait for Yankem and Alundra (hopefully she stands better than Wendi). BTW -- I posted in Classifieds, but if anyone is selling John Studd or the Ali ref figures, I'm interested. did you try placing Wendy's feet in a cup of boiling water for a couple of minutes and then slightly bending them so she stands better?

I didn't buy that set, since I only wanted Studd and Ali (which I'm still looking for). But I can't see myself doing that for any figure - that's Mattel's job to make them actually stand...

I believe I saw numerous comment in this thread and elsewhere that she didn't stand well. Sorry if I am remembering incorrectly.

Wendi is the one who is nearly impossible to stand at times.

I’ve been out of the loop with Mattel stuff lately. Any word/update on when the Bulldog/Blaze/DDS/HBK set is going to be put up for order?

When I was doing my review of her (back on page 267) I had to pose her arms in two different directions to shoot the video. The side by side photos with other figures required being very delicate at the added movement of placing other figures in the ring would cause her to fall over. All of the “action” photos involve her leaning against something except for the hip toss photo where I edited my hand out which was holding her foot.

I don't collect this line, but while cleaning out the basement I found a tote that had taker, Roman, Brock, warrior, mankind, bray wyatt, and Wolfpack sting all still in the package. I vaguely remember buying these at a Kmart when it was going out of business at a heavily discounted price.

For those who don't follow the other Retros companies: Bobby Heenan is up for pre-order now both in the UK and the US. Epic Toys in the UK have him up for £25.99 Figure Collections in the US have him for $39.97 https://www.instagram.com/p/C7icX66M_RP

I’d like that Heenan but the prices are ridiculous. Really hope we get a retro of him, it’s my most wanted figure

it's not like a Mattel figure would look as good as this (and his arms are at least going to be in correct proportion to his body unlike the other 'realistic' indy producer) so this figure is definitely going to set the standard bearer for any subsequent Heenan retro

I would actually pay that price for Heenan, but I would need to see a lot of pictures loose and hear what it feels like in person to make sure it's something I'd want in my collection.
And by the time that's possible, the prices will really be too high for me

The bulldogs and Powers of Pain fit in seemlessly in my collection. I ordered this entire series other than Onita so highly recommend ordering the Bobby. There will be a variant in black that will be a in stock dorp in August or September

And by the time that's possible, the prices will really be too high for me Looks-wise I feel like Epic is doing the best job out there right now. FC is close behind them as well. The figures feel good but aren’t as hard of plastic as Mattel or Hasbro uses. Their posing and detail feels more like a continuation of the Hasbro line than what ZST or Hasttel are doing. That isn’t a knock against either of those companies; I just feel like they are currently too far in other directions whereas Epic and FC have found that sweet spot. I know I’ve posted some of this elsewhere so my apologies if this is redundant but here are some closeups of what they look like and how they compare to other lines: http://instagram.com/p/C5lcfpMLM2C http://instagram.com/p/C5RUZkHxpJ5
