What do yous think? Amy chances for the entramce being released? Everyone loves it and wants it so I'm guessing Mattel and retailers will say no lol. I will gladly take a Wicked Cool Toys cardboard version though.

Yeah, I have one from Hasbromaniacs, but one that lit up would be 100x cooler!

I ordered full series 8 of amazon on 2/17. They estimated arrival between 3/14-4/8. I have yet to receive shipping notification. Anyone in the same boat?

Diesel & JYD(mark for him) will be mine. Delighted that Goldust is inbound too. That macho is also tasty...might just get him too.
Brilliant that they corrected the awful flair figure Hasbro gave us(now redo 123 Kid and Rude too) then give us
USA Lex Evil Crush Jerry Lawler LOD in Ring gear Surfer Sting(not jumping gimmick same as Diesel or Macho maybe)

I ordered a couple Sheiks back on 02/12, showing arriving: May 10 - Jun 19. Ordering from them is a crapshoot. That's why I pre-order from Ringside and a couple other places.

I’m really happy that they’ve basically decided st least one flashback per series now. Going by Series 9 and 10 (Macho/Goldust & Diesel/JYD), I think it might actually be TWO Flashbacks per series now... finger's crossed.

Hopefully we can get Double J, USA Lex, King Mabel, Lawler, Backlund, Hart Foundation, Heel Jake, and others. I'd like WCW guys too, but Hasbro era WWF should be first priority to fill. On a side note, I am disappointed to not see any Double J or Hogan reveals from any series at axxess.

Love the line - it’s only one I’m invested in, not because of any shortcoming of the main lines, they look awesome from what I see but the Retros are MY guys (or as close as we can get) so I’ll support it until the bitter end, like I did with the Hasbros.
LOVE seeing Diesel - I joked (like almost everyone else) that he looks more like fake Diesel than Nash, but I’m delighted it’s heel Diesel we’re getting (hope we get Big Daddy Cool Diesel at some point as well, preferably with the Roman punch). Also really excited for Goldust and the new Macho Man!
I don’t know why they don’t rotate the actions more than they have though - the Roman punch action and Lesnar action I thought would’ve had plenty of uses in the next 9 series, but no sign of them. Is it that expensive to change things like the chest and back of Roman to remove the Shield vest and fit to the punch mould? There’s an obvious mid-90s Shawn Michaels figure waiting to be created with that action.
People complained about all the jumpers early in the line (I didn’t, but I saw their point) which seems to have meant that they’re gone from circulation now (Kofi the last one I think?), series 9 has three clothesline figures out of the four, the kick action has appeared a lot since it was created, the split-torso (which never seems a popular thing to do to a figure, see the comments on the Ulitmate line for example) has appeared throughout, and of course we don’t yet have the Perfect-Plex, Tornado Punch, elbow smash or Earthquake action from the original line.
But I accept it’s a small line in the grand scheme of the Mattel line, and a labour of love for the guys behind it, so I’m just very grateful we get anything at all for however long we get it.
I’m hoping to get series 8 delivered next week - two sets: one to keep MOC and the other to let breathe.

I’m hoping to get series 8 delivered next week - two sets: one to keep MOC and the other to let breathe. Yeah, they need to switch up the molds for sure. Goldberg SHOULD have been the body slam like Brock for starters and in his WCW look. I don't mind the jumpers as much as the Cena/JYD/Warrior/NWO Macho/Angle style bodies. They at least need to make a fat guy style body so they could do Vader, Bundy, and guys like that. Perfect body and Tornado would be great too aswell as more of the punch mech. And I wish they could do another set of legs w/ regular size boots for the clothesline guys. Hate having the Austin midget boots on Goldust and Macho #2. I do love the kickpad version though, would be ideal for mid 90's HBK and Surfer Sting to name a few.

I’d love another version of the Undertaker, either his 98/99 Ministry attire or even the current Deadman attire

Gonna get 2x of JYD and a few Diesels, wonder if RSC will have a quantity limit on him though? So here's an idea, in light of Target now being loaded w/ S7 after Walmart had them for months already. Why don't they make every other series either Target or Walmart exclusive as far as brick/mortar retail? Color coded blue for walmart and red for Target. And then of course have them all available to RSC, Amazon, TRU (Canada), Gamestop and other small outlets. Drop 2 sets at a time then, one set to go to each major retailer.

So I’ve been wondering about the Elias figures action; while his upper body resembles the figures with the kicking action (Sami, HBK etc), his legs look different. Considering he comes with a guitar , it’d make sense for him to have an action like HonkyTonk Man , where he can smash people with a guitar.
Which made me wonder if anyone knows anything about the Enzo prototype? From the picture he looks to have similar body & legs to Elias - so does anyone have any insider info on what action he was going to have?

I’d love another version of the Undertaker, either his 98/99 Ministry attire or even the current Deadman attire I'm sure there was a proto of a Taker with grey gloves/tie... not sure what happened to it though (I think it was canceled) .

Yes was shown in the ring with New Day back when those images came out showing like 20 new figs coming up right around when Series 3 came out. If I could have one more taker, next I think I'd like the Phantom version w/mask. But I suppose that could be done with the existing figure and buying a loose mask or the head from the elite?

Now that we’re getting a Diesel, my next #1 pick has to be... Hollywood Hogan.
Also, I’m surprising even myself with this one, because I’m not a fan of his at all - I wouldn’t mind another John Cena. Love him or hate him, he’s a top top guy, and the first figure has none of the bright colours associated with Cena. But that’s if they need to put a “current” guy in there.
Also from non-Hasbro eras, I wouldn’t mind a Batista (flashback or comeback attire - bluetista would be great), or an Edge (rated R or attitude Era)
Maybe if by some miracle they might decide to do a manager. If so, Bobby Heenan in sparkly jacket is an absolute must.
Now I’m getting carried away.

Anyone else have an awful feeling Series 10 could be the end of the line for these? And Diesel is just Mattel trying to satisfy the cries for him for the past 2 years?
Just checked brickseek and popfinder a couple hours ago, and NOTHING of S7 has sold in a week around me. I don't know if it really comes down to lack of intrest or just the bad distribution of the line. I really hope Walmart and Target aren't sitting on tons of S7 at distribution centers and once they sell through what's on the pegs, S8 and S9 come in. But, I just have a bad feeling things aren't looking up for this line.
I really hope I'm wrong, but I don't know. I mean maybe it is just that whoever wants them, gets them shortly after a new series drops, and perhaps overall Mattel does see the numbers they hope for. Trying to be optimistic, but I don't have the greatest feeling about this at this point.

Things have looked bad for the line at seemingly every point during the run only to then a little while later hear Bill or someone else at Mattel speak supportively about the line, so who knows what their numbers actually look like, the margain might be very good on each figure meaning a relatively small number of sales might be all that’s needed. I think we definitely have support within Mattel from those who were passionate about the Hasbros to have gotten the Retros this far.
But we should definitely be grateful for whatever we get though; if 10 is the end at least we’ve got Diesel.

Genuine question: has Matt Hardy actually ever worn blue pants (like the ones his Retro has)? Is his figure finished - or will his pants (hopefully) be molded a different color?
