During the build of Hogan/Vader at UnCensored, the Hulkster would hint that a certain warrior would show up at UnCensored in his corner against Vader with Flair in his. And the Hulkster’s words were true and the Ultimate Warrior would debut at the event and help the Hulkster against the duo of Vader and Flair. The Warrior would also be at Hogan’s side as well as Macho Man Randy Savage’s at Slamboree against Flair and Vader. The Warrior’s first match ever in WCW would be against WCW TV Champion and friend of Flair’s, Arn Anderson. The Warrior would dominate Anderson and would become the new WCW TV Champion. The Warrior would defend his belt against “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff at Bash at the Beach and would win yet again. Then at Fall Brawl Warrior would join The Mega Powers and former tag partner Sting against The Dugeon Of Doom and would be victorious, however the next night on Monday Nitro The Dugeon would get their revenge when The Shark would defeat him and become the new WCW TV Champion.
At Halloween Havoc The Warrior and The Shark would combat inside a steel cage and would nearly see the Warrior win until The Giant came out and entered the cage and attacked The Warrior allowing Shark to retain. At the end of the night after The Giant won the WCW Championship, The Warrior would come out and help former champ Hulk Hogan and clothesline the celebrating Giant out of the ring. World War 3 would see The Warrior enter the battle royal for the vacant title alongside former champ Hulk Hogan, The Giant, Randy Savage, Ric Flair, and other WCW stars. The Warrior would eliminate Savage to become the new WCW champion until the former champ came in and revealed that the Giant had eliminated him by the bottom rope and thus Warrior’s victory was tainted.
At Starrcade ‘95, The Warrior would face off against former champion Ric Flair, the Nature Boy would nearly win the match with the Figure 4 leglock until Warrior broke the hold and managed to deliver a gorilla press before splashing on to Flair’s back and pin him for the victory. At SuperBrawl VI, the two would face off in a steel cage where yet again the Warrior walked out champion. At UnCensored ‘96, The Warrior would take on The Giant, the champ would nearly defeat the challenger had it not been for Lex Luger who came in and hit Warrior with a steel chair allowing the Giant to cover him and become the new WCW Champion. The Warrior would fall short at Slamboree but this time it was due to The Giant himself and not Luger, Warrior would take time off following this loss until Fall Brawl ‘96 where he ran in and attacked Hollywood Hogan and the rest of the nWo after their victory in the War Games, on Nitro Warrior would declare war on the nWo and would challege Hogan to a match at Halloween Havoc stating he was the only man Hogan never beat.
However those words would be proven false as Hogan (with help from the Outsiders) defeated the Warrior and remained champ. Although the Warrior would avoid a beat down by chasing all three out the building where the Warrior would smash their limousine window. The Warrior would be special guest referee for the Hogan/Piper match where Hot Rod would make Hogan tap to the sleeper hold. Warrior would constantly be a thorn in the nWo’s side until nWo Souled Out where they would ban the Warrior from WCW. (In reality the Warrior wanted to take time off) Months later Eric Bishoff would be forced to remove the ban on the Warrior following Lex Luger’s victory over Hogan on Monday Nitro and the two would team together to take on Hollywood Hogan and Dennis Rodman. Warrior and Luger would be victorious over the nWo. On Monday Nitro Lex Luger would beat Hollywood Hogan via submission to become the new WCW Champion but unfortunately he would lose it at Road Wild. The Warrior would not been seen after due to an argument over pay and how he was being used. The Warrior wouldn’t return to wrestling until 2003 where he would make an appearance at Wrestlemania XIX during the Hogan/McMahon match and would help Hogan fend off both McMahon and Roddy Piper.
