YES! Hopefully Ottawa can take game 4 without him in the line up, then again, in the last series, the red wings didn't win the game Pronger was suspended for

Pronger makes Bertuzzi look like a catholic school boy. There is absolutly no place for Pronger in our game anymore. I just hope someone pulls a Stevie Y and merely ducks out of the way of one of his hits so he blows his knee out again.

Wow, clearly the arena officials wanted their Senators to win. Those were some blatantly bull **** calls. Alfredson's goal was immediately waved off by the ref as he saw him doing a kicking motion. They took it upstairs and despite seeing a camera angle that clearly showed his foot move to kick the puck, the officials overruled the ref's decision. Or how about Neil basically running rampant? I saw him at one point hitting a Duck player in the head... no call. But a Duck player nudges a Senator from behind, the Sen falls to the ice and OH! Penalty! Yeah, with that kind of officiating, I bet the Senators will win game 4 too. Yep, especially that time Pronger elbowed Dean McAmmond in the head and they didn't call it, they were totally favoring Ottawa. No, he just gets suspended for it after McAmmond REINJURED Kunitz which got no call or suspension. I don't dislike the Senators. If they win, I won't be mad. I tend to root for the underdogs and the Sens have been underdogs for most of their 15 year existance. But if they win, it should be a fair victory, not games riddled with questionable calls. I've still never completely gotten over the "No Goal" in game 6 Dallas vs Buffalo from the 99 Finals. That blatant BS soured me on hockey until the Wings title run in 2002.

No, he just gets suspended for it after McAmmond REINJURED Kunitz which got no call or suspension. Are you kidding? Kunitz took a run and McAmmond and he just avoided the hit and Kunitz hit his leg awkwardly. And the officiating on the ice was still bad...Pronger didn't get suspended by the refs, it was by Colin Campbell. Now to the irrelevant. This years playoff beards have been crap. Rob Neidermayer, Chris Phillips, Mike Fisher, and Sean O’Donnell are the only ones with good-solid playoff beards. It's either they have some crappy goatee (Dany Heatley) or make no effort at all. Its tradition, you have to grow the beards. That, and as nice as it was, Ottawa singing the anthem doesn't even begin to compare to either Edmonton or Vancouver. Edmonton's anthem last year was 10 times louder and their building fits 3,000 less people, and Vancouver has the loudest of all.

Shanahan's goatee was hilarious when the Rangers were still in the playoffs. It was all grey and bushy...I loved it, lol.

Ottawa and Vancouver also didn't have 'Tommy' sitting front row. What a trooper.

This is the most important game tonite with home-ice advatage on the line. The first team to lose at home will be at a disadvatage..
----
Neils run on Andy McDonald was 100x worse than Prongers hit on Mcammond. I'm not defending what Pronger did because I don't, but Neil needs to watch his back and keep his head up after that attempt to elbow someones head. I like Ottawa, just not that jobber of a goon Neil..

I don't know if it's a disgrace to hockey, but it's definitely better for the game to have Canadian/Original 6 team win the cup.
I mean Anaheim is a good young team with a lot of young marketable players, it's just hard to get used to teams with little to no hockey attention win the cup for 3, arguably 4 straight years (not including the lockout.)

Do you actually have sound reasoning or is it like every other member who just spouts out ultra-opinionated nonsense from their asses? Explain to me why I would want to root for teams like the Ducks, Lightning, and Hurricanes to win the Stanley Cup. These are all expansion teams who shouldn't even be part of the NHL, as far as I'm concerned. Not that I know many hockey fans, but when I've talked to a few people, they told me they're rooting for the Ducks to win the Cup "so they could keep it in the US." How ridiculous is that? This is Canada's game that the US has RUINED, but I'm supposed to root for the Ducks just because they're a US team? The only teams in hockey I care about are the Original 6, plus a few select others, and all Canada teams. I think the NHL should cut the league down and make it 20 teams to be honest. It would make the game much more exciting and meaningful so you wouldn't have these ridiculous towns like Nashville holding hockey games that nobody shows up for.
