Question for you humanoids...
Is the interest still there for this?
Main reason this thread has been quite for months now is me sadly just not having to time to write up the entry. But I do feel interest isnt what it used to be for this thread. Dont get me wrong I enjoyed going down gimmick memory lane but idk just to me each gimmick I covered in the latter half got lil to no discussion
Feedback appreciated 👍

Disco Inferno![](https://scontent-lga3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.6435-9/103493759_2676717092575520_4550250019604570033_n.jpg?_nc_cat=110&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=13d280&_nc_ohc=fHPLtDh83OIQ7kNvgHQiiiW&_nc_ht=scontent-lga3-1.xx&oh=00_AYAnJ8snRgagyY2kFTKerO4S94Y3M1ATvK-Aa4HC3RoIGw&oe=66C49CFC) Disco Feva would enter WCW in late 95. John Travolta eat your heart out. Early on it was pretty much all character work here as he would wrestle mainly on the B and C shows getting wins ham n eggers while on Nitro he would promote his CD with him annoying the wrestlers and fans alike in the process. He would make a cameo at Sherri/Col. Parkers ''wedding'' in early 96. He was originally scheduled to face Kevin Sullivan but did the smart thing and bailed on that deal with him sending Elvis to tell em the news. That didnt end well for The King let me tell ya. His first official feud would come that Summer against then CW Champ Dean Malenko. He would challenge for the belt at BATB that year in a losing effort. For the remainder of the year he would do nothing of note before getting injured in early 97. Disco would make a comeback though later in the year. This is where his run started to pick up. Not only would he win the TV belt but he would also feud with Jaqueline. There were issues backstage over this one as he was very vocal on feuding/losing to a woman. They would meet at Havoc in Vegas with Jackie picking up the W. Soon after he would lose the TV belt to Saturn but would get it back in December before losing it again into the new year to Booker T. Hot potato with the TV belt here pretty much. In 98 he would start a comedy team with Alex Wright and their flunky Tokyo Magnum as ''The Dancing Fools''. This didnt last long however with his focus then going on trying to be a member of the Wolfpac. This would all lead to a feud with Konan and man that rap ''music video'' he did was God awful.Stick to Disco man. Terrible feud here btw Not much going on em in 99 early on besides lil feuds here and there but his luck would change in late 99 as he would finally achieve the CW belt by defeating Psychosis on Nitro that October. A reign that would only last a month as he would lose it to Evan Karagias at Mayhem. It was also during this he would start a feud with new team in town in the Mamalukes. However in short time he would join em as their ''heavy'' pretty much.2000 would bring some new changes to his character as he would join up with the Filthy Animals and call himself ''Disqo''. Him on the same team as Konan SMDH... This alliance would end by the Fall with him then teaming with his old buddy Alex Wright with them now being called ''The Boogie Knights''. Same deal here though as in 98 they wouldnt win tag gold. He would start a brief alliance with Mike Sanders(member him?!) but didnt really get far as WCW would end that March and that was that. He would continue on with the character overseas for WWA then a lil run in TNA but it just wasnt the same as it was in WCW. Overall...All about the character work here which ol Glen Gilbertti nailed in spades. He wasnt a terrible worker(def nothing to write home about though) but like I said he really hit the character to a T. What are your memories of Disco Inferno? Share em below!

I liked when disco came out with his entrance music a bunch of times dancing when he wasn’t scheduled to wrestle only to have the scheduled worker come out and push him out of the way

Never cared for him much. I usually changed the channel back to Raw when he was on.

^ Agreed. He once pitched an idea of having an invisible wrestler. At the time, I'm surprised WCW didn't give him the green light for it. Never cared much for him. Definitely a curtain-jerker. He was very lucky to be a mid-carder & have a few short title reigns.
My next vote is for Harvey Wippleman.

As a kid I liked this character. More recently, I've started to think he was WCW's attempt at recreating the Honky Tonk Man.
